They are wonderful and very helpful. Knowledgeable to help you pick your poison and to educate you. 10/10 recommend. As well as their gun prices are good.

Best prices for most sporting event items including ammunition in eastern North Carolina. Ammo selection is somewhat limited but certainly sufficient for most requirements. Also after buying a bicycle I would like to add that whoever assembles their bicycles does know what she or he is doing. I was worried initially but my bike was well assembled. I go here for a number of things and will continue to do so. Very pleased and prices are the highlight.

Great Prices!! They have a great selection and we like the Academy Sports brand. It's nice to have a sports store in town that can cater to low and high end shoppers. We recently purchased a pair of track shoes. No other store in Jacksonville sells them.

It was so hard for me to pick out what I wanted to get because everything that I saw I wanted to get LOL but finally I saw a pair of leggings that my boyfriend had previously got me last year that I absolutely love they were Gray and white just like the red and black ones I have posted they fit me perfectly, so small with a great side fitting bra that I absolutely love, I spent about $45 total and I absolutely love my purchase so happy I stopped in here I will definitely be getting more in the future to add to my workout collection!

Academy had some really great Christmas sales. The store was neat and clean. Asked about socks and was pointed in the right direction. The cashier checked each pair of shoes to make sure I had the correct sizes. Overall an easy shopping experience.

I was impressed with the cleanliness, product selection and inventory. Came here for sneakers and left with 2 pairs. Tons of sporting goods and outdoor options. It’s the NC version of Dick’s.

I went with the intention of getting my grandson sized for his soccer cleats in order for his parents to order them. We used the shoe size measuring device and wanted to verify by trying on some cleats as they tend to run small and this was his first pair. The selection on hand for younger children (4 years old) was a little sparse but we ultimately used a pair of girls cleats to confirm sizing. But I cannot say enough great things about the staff and their helpfulness, friendly demeanor and sincere desire to help out their customers. I’m the short time in the store, we’re we assisted by two separate employees who both offered different resolutions to our needs. Super happy with the customer service and will definitely return for future needs. So many stores like this feel like you can get lost in them and oftentimes I am unable to locate an employee to asssit without returning to the front of the store and asking for assistance at the customer service desk but that is not the case here and I really appreciated it. Clean store, tons of parking and wonderful service!
