Asia Plus Asian Market

Came here with my girlfriend over the weekend to try some foreign snacks! Amazing selection and super friendly staff.
The prices of most of the items were much cheaper than their American counterparts.

Will definitely be coming back!

My kids and I love shopping here when we get the opportunity. Whenever we have appointments at the University, we make it a special trip to go to Asia Plus and shop for snacks. They have a great selection of noodles, candy, other snacks, frozen foods, and drinks. I really love their Milk Tea.

They actually have coconut milk with nata de coco. Straight up impossible to find sometimes, unless you go to the cute little market in the mall. Very small and more convenience store than grocery, but perfect

Always friendly and helpful staff. The store is always well-kept and is consistently stocked with a wide variety of items. Definitely a place a stop nearly every time I’m in the old capitol mall, whether to pick up ingredients for home cooking or even to grab a quick snack.

Outstanding selection especially for such a small space. Several items I've seen only in Asia or west coast cities such as Vancouver. Downtown Iowa City is lucky to have this. As several others have noted, welcoming staff here, always happy to make a recommendation or help find something. Good neighbors.

Excellent place to find snacks such as green tea KitKats and fantastic ice bars.

Huge variety of snacks and goodies, some I haven't seen at other Asian markets yet! Went in the mall for Blick Arts and was pleasantly surprised to find this store inside too.
One thing I will note is the cold section didn't have prices listed very well, and I couldnt find any prices for the drinks. Its a personally peeve of mine to not know what I'm spending.
But otherwise I can't wait to go again!

They had exactly what I was looking for, and they were willing to help me look for it, even if I couldn't read the label. (Attached image is what I bought from Asia plus) it was a great lunar new year in my dorm with my comfort food.

Excellent selection of stuff in such a small space, especially on snacks. Place was sharp and clean. Impressive!

I like to stop into Asia+ for snacks when I am downtown. I like their canned milk tea, and my daughter likes the yogurt drinks. When I have questions about products the staff is helpful, and makes good recommendations. They have a nice selection of Pocky. They have lots of Hello Kitty branded snacks. They have a super friendly nice staff who are always extra nice to my three year old. Located right by the parking ramp inside Old Capitol Town Center it is easy to run in quickly since the first hour of parking is free in this ramp.

Amazing place to get snack and all kinds of grocery products. The store is well organized and clean. Great shopping time.

Every time I come into this store the owner is so welcoming!!! If I need help finding some thing or need a recommendation she is always willing to help. Great prices and great food. Highly recommend!

Amazing selection of packaged items! Had a lot of things that I haven't been able to find at other nearby Asian markets. The staff was super nice as well. Definitely my new go-to!

There's so many things that I haven't seen since I moved here from Seattle, as well as things that my husband hasn't seen since he moved from Hong Kong. Truly a great place to buy frozen groceries or snacks! The staff is also very very kind as well.

Best selection of Asian food and drink products in Iowa City. The staff is helpful and there is delicious and fresh food. They give out a free item with some purchases. There's always something new and good to try here.

I love this place! I love foreign foods and got so excited when visiting this place that i only got one thing but it was worth it. It has different types of asian snacks and drink and was amazing.
