There were some very nice women working there, very helpful. Probably the best Walmart customer service anyone will ever get at any walmart, which admittedly is a low bar. It's like 5 African women with headscarves running the whole store and everyone of them deserves a raise.

Wal-Mart saves Christmas dinner, or do they? I will let you decide. I placed a Wal-Mart online order five days in advance to insure the items I wanted where in stock and available so I could have a worry-free Christmas dinner this season. I am naturally planner and go through a lot of extreme efforts to ensure that my dinner is decided on and all the necessary ingredients is either in my house or in the Walmart order, to avoid extra unassay Christmas stress. The first thing to pop up to my attention on delivery day is that Wal-Mart was extra eager to deliver my items, so they sent them out before 10 am which is normally a huge plus right? Who does not love an early order? Well, this early order came with a price, I did not receive my hot rotisserie chicken. The star of my Christmas dinner! They agreed this was not acceptable and set out a refund for the extra fee for the order and then set up a new order for today between 5pm - 6pm and promised a chicken would be delivered. So on to put up my items, I was missing about six items from my order and added a pack of water I never ordered to my items. I called and they issued a refund for my missing items and a 10-dollar gift card to cover the price of the under 35-dollar order. Overall, my Christmas dinner though was not stress-free ordering, they have taken care to lessen my stress in a thoughtful and timely manner so I will say they deserve 5 stars. I may down grade if the chicken does not arrive today, but I do want to be a thoughtful and considerate customer and not tank their reviews for a time that is stressful for employees and customers alike. Hopefully the replacements will all arrive on time and the rest of my Christmas dinner will go off without a hitch! Fingers crossed that Santa gets his favorite fresh orange cookies this year! They have the rotisserie chicken available 10am - 4pm daily. So, it makes sense to get the order out before 10am for delivery and just put not in stock, right? So, if you want your order on time just chose 10am - 11am and add a hot rotisserie chicken to your order Iowa City Wal-Mart will make your order a priority to leave the store prior to 10am! and refund you for the chicken that is not in stock. Extra take home from this? If you want your order to arrive on time, then place a 10am -11am order with a rotisserie chicken. That was the first time my order arrived at 10am on the dot! All my other orders where either right on the 11am dot or a little late. Seems like Chicken really causes all those Wal-Mart elves to get off the shelf and hustle this year. Remember to be kind to each other as Santa enters through the heart not the chimney!

This WM had the new layout going on, plenty of back to school items everywhere.
I was looking for 1 certain item in the craft section, which for WM was very skimpy. Lots of end of season markdowns and clearance items. I was in and out quickly as they did not have my item.

I was impressed by Walmart's pharmacy. The only criticism I would have is that I commented on the increased price of my drug that I came for and the young woman didn't mention that another prescription was in the bag and added $4 to the cost. Otherwise, outstanding performance.

Gotta love Wollyworld. I go to Walmart occasionally just to check teh clearance. 🙃 Around certain times of the year there's great deals of varying items 👌🏻 😀.

My first time ordering groceries online and the experience was great. The employee was fast and friendly.

More options than my regular Walmart it was definitely a better experience.

My family & I have been a wonderful experience at this Walmart branch for the past few weeks because of the store associate named "Kolin". Kolin would always go above & beyond to solve whatever item related problems or concerns we have . He is a highly diligent & professional staff, he definitely deserves more accolades/flowers than he's being given.

From the city's perspective, this Walmart is super big and has so many items which makes me as a customer really happy. Plus they are restocking almost every day. So for days or weeks that are super rushed you would still find an item of your choice. I believe the first weekend of August is tax free here so enjoy the prices while you can. They have a bunch of items for returning or new students for their kitchen, room, living room. Plus they have an extended range of plants to fill in your space. At the time I visited they also had Walmart plus subscription going on in half for students with the added option of Paramount subscription.

They have a variety of goods, and their prices are affordable. They have good Internet services, its easy to book Uber and do other online services.

I do Walmart Deliveries and David Cortez at the Iowa City Walmart is always on point with the orders a good guy needs promotion

They were very helpful. Friendly greeting every time. Even had a friendly staff member take a photo for me!

This is a nice Walmart with the biggest selection of tools, car items, and household hardware I've seen. The store is clean and it wasn't as crazy busy as some other locations. There were some very good markdowns also. I enjoyed the shopping experience there.

Great Walmart. They have guns and a separate area for beer where you can chill and drink the beer you bought.

I like shopping here quite a bit. The only thing is you're out of so many items I really need.
Yvonne is too precious for words (she was the checkout lady). AND she double bagged w/o me asking. She's definitely a keeper!!

Not expecting much and had a wonderful experience.

The staff at customer service handled my return in no time flat with a delightful attitude.

They had on-sale and reasonably priced kid Christmas presents right at the front of the store.

And the self check out was clean and easy.

It's walmart. It has food, clothes, electronics and everything else you'd expect a Walmart to have. Not much else to say to be honest.
