Nice little selection of men's and women's apparel and gear. Everything I saw was in great shape, no holes, stains etc. Friendly staff at the counter. Would definitely make this a regular stop if I lived in the area.

When I saw this store I truly did not know exactly what to expect but when I walked in I saw many name brand outdoor gear for sale with great prices. The store has a variety of sizes and categories of clothing ie. women, men, and children. I sadly was unable to find a winter jacket that I loved but I ended up finding a nike workout top which was a surprisingly good deal and it is in perfect condition. So glad I visited this store!!

Love this place, me and my brother come here a lot for all of our snowboarding gear (clothing wise). My bro was actually the owners first customer for his DALPS Brand. Love little places like this. We help small businesses make money while we save it by shopping here instead of buying a brand new 300$ winter jacket I can get it here for a fraction of the price.

Honestly, 5 stars isn't enough!! I went in, desperately looking for a Steve Atwater jersey, for an upcoming funeral service. I didn't see one on the rack, but I noticed there was a few jerseys hanging up in back & saw a gentleman working back there. I asked if he had one.. he went to the back & searched through his inventory. A few minutes later, he came out with the exact one I was looking for & was EXTREMELY generous with the price! I can't thank you enough Mountain Exchange 🥰

Left Denver for a day on the creek in Idaho Springs and always stop at the local Fly Shop. Walked out and Mountain Exchange caught my eye. Thanks to the Owners both Am and afternoon were very helpful in their ways of business 👍🏽🎣

Very nice and understanding staff. Killer deals on big name outdoor brands. I got a snowboard and a coat and a bottle opener. Some items were very pricey but all was well. Will definitely be returning next visit to the mountains.

This shop is a must if you’re driving through or staying in Idaho Springs. Great prices on gently used outdoor gear. Great selection of product and the staff was very friendly.

We loved this place! We went in there not having a clue what to expect and we found good quality used (big name brands!), rugged clothing at fantastic prices. The items were clean and in excellent condition as well.

The fellow Josh, working behind the counter was amiable and we enjoyed our time there very much. There were 3 of us customers in the store when we got there and probably a dozen when we left! Others, like us, felt like we’d found a neat place to hang out and chat!

In the middle of the pandemic that was saying something! We were there on Nov 3, I think it was, on our way driving from Denver (where we lived for many years) back to L.A. Idaho Springs (we have been there many times in the past) is one of those quaint Colorado mountain towns that still maintains much of its unspoiled charm. Mountain Exchange fits right in to that mold.

We accidentally came across this shop and found such fabulous deals . Many of the items were brand new with price tags still in place. Paul was very helpful. We bought Gortex snowboarder pants for $25 just like new. Can’t wait to visit again to get stylish ski clothing reasonably priced

I told my wife that I wanted my nano puff jacket back when we visit our cabin above Idaho Springs. We visited this exchange store after eating breakfast, and my wife bought two designer down jackets within 5 minutes for pennies on the dollar. I'm jealous!

Wonderful thrift store with stylish clothing for women, children, and men as well as snow sports gear. Store is well organized, clean, and staff is helpful. Most items are name brand and in very good to new-with-tags condition. Prices vary from $5 to $30, from what I saw. I purchased Levi's & Izod button downs, nwt for $10. Everything is on season too. Highly recommended from a thrift connoisseur!

Mountain Exchange has some pretty unbelievable deals on top outdoor brands, I’ve been here twice and left with a handful of steals both times.

Owner was really nice and they had some pretty good deals on some nice clothes.
