Love, love, love this place!!! We frequent Idaho Springs and when we do The Soap Shop is one of our favorite destinations. The customers service is excellent, the smells are incredible and the atmosphere is outstanding. This place is a must visit! They have a baby section, jewelry, oil & oil diffusers, they have a upstairs as well,they have soap for people of color (helps with even skin tone) and grab bags. will definitely return and highy recommend!!!!!

The moment I walked into this store i couldn’t get over how powerful the aroma was!! This store has a variety of things ie. soaps, body scrubs, lotions, bath bombs, etc. The woman that was working the day I went was so sweet and extremely helpful. The store is two stories the bottom story is mostly soap, bath bombs, and lotion while the up stairs loft has more items. The pricing of the items was very reasonable I would say with them being handmade and everything! Everything in the store smells so delicious wish I could have bought it all!!

Thank you so much for the wonderful soap I received today in the mail! When we lived in Denver years ago , we would drive up to Idaho Springs to shop at your store so I wanted to find you guys online and order the scents I use to love (and still do) . This has been my second order and such a simple process and quick delivery time. We now live in Georgia but miss Colorado so much. This brings a little Colorado to us down here. Thanks again.

BEST homemade, natural soap I have EVER used! I bought two bars three weeks ago and have LOVED using both; one at the kitchen sink and one in my shower! Just cannot say enough about how clean and smooth my hands and skin feels when I use this soap!! It’s fabulous!!

I've lived in Idaho springs for 3 years and I've never bought soap or body spray anywhere else. Their bath bombs are simply amazing. Christmas is so easy because everyone is getting soap!

While on my recent trip to Colorado im glad we got to stop in Idaho springs and went in to The Soap Shop! I picked a few gifts to bring back to friends in Texas. I will be ordering a few more soaps really loved the eucalyptus and mt evans! The shop is so aesthetically pleasing as well. Love how everything is labeled and also the benefits of every product.

Every time I open the box from the Soap Shop, it is the next best thing to being back in Colorado. Whenever I need a gift for someone, this is my go to place and everyone loves getting these amazing, incredibly scented soaps, lotions, sprays, all of it. The body sprays are just perfect if you don't like heavy perfumes. They are delicately scented, not overwhelming at all. It's hard to pick a favorite, but if I had to, I would say it's the Mediterranean Fig, both the soap and the spray. My daughter loves the Oatmeal Milk and Honey. I just tried the Caribbean Coconut and the smell of that soap and how soft it makes your skin, is unbelievable. Everything is so delicate. Most soaps and sprays irritate my skin, but none of these soaps do. The baby lotion is great, I just ordered more for my 1 year old granddaughter. You can't go wrong with any of their products. I forgot to mention the shampoo bars and the bath bombs, especially the pear and green tea bath bomb, they are by far the best bath bombs I have ever tried. I love that none of the products have harsh ingredients. Thank you for such glorious, wonderful products!

The store is beautiful, and has MANY great products. I LOVE everything that I bought. I am a HUGE fan of the chapstick. I own like 10 of them. I recently bought the pink sugar body spray as well and it was wonderful! I bought a lemon grass bath bomb along with the black raspberry vanilla bath bomb. I'm super excited to use them😁 Buffalo bill soap is my favorite. I also love using the boo boo balm on my kids!

Lets just start with the smell when you first walk. You literally stop for a second and take it in. The shop its self is laid out perfectly. Everything about the store is soothing. Good luck not buying everything in there. I hope to return during the fall and see what great creations they have in store for us.

It’s getting to the point where when I run out of my patchouli mint soap, I have to plan a trip back up to Idaho springs. Some of my very very favorite soaps have come from this store. The woman who owns the store is such a lovely person as well. This store is one of the main reasons we keep coming back.

Truly mind-blowing beard oil—the oil by which all other beard oils shall be judged on that day. If this oil ever goes out of existence, our generation will, in a unified song of lament, be singing, “Bye, bye Miss American Pie.” Now, I don’t have a clue what kind of smell ‘bay rum’ is, but it’s good enough that it hasn’t once occurred to my little Mrs. to ever give it a second thought ;). No matter what woes befall me, the great expanse of the Nebraska and Colorado prairies will never stand against my need for this oil!

This store is amazing. My boyfriend and I only use soap from this shop now and we love it. Very moisturizing to the skin and incredible prices for handmade soap

Such a great shop. And the woman running it was extra helpful and helped me find a CBD pain cream for my back.

I believe there is something for everyone in this shop. Hair care, soap, and lotion but also pure essential oils and scrubs. I really like that it seemed to be broken up by what you may need for certain conditions and descriptions of what the item could be used for at the spot you pick it up from. I ended up getting a thieves soap as I have had a hard time staying well this year and a lavender and oat soap for my daughter who has been getting excema a lot. Staff was friendly and gave a lot of advice on what to do while in town.

Discovered this shop on a cross country road trip and my family is now ADDICTED. We have ordered dozens of bars between us since spring. My last order hit a glitch, but Roger went out of his way to fix it. He was kind, patient and friendly with my panicky, crazy self. SUCH a pleasure to do business with these wonderful people.
I highly recommend the Lemongrass and sage for it's perfect lather and exfoliation (it's my goto camping bar) and the lilac for it's long lasting and romantic scent, smells exactly like the lilac bush that grew outside my Moms back home.
PS I am sensitive to several types of commercial soaps (dial, Irish spring, ect) and none of these bars gave me even the slightest bad reaction.

This store has an excellent selection of Colorado made soap! The Spa Bar is my favorite, but I grabbed the Frothy Cup soap with coffee from the Frothy Cup Coffee Shop down the street. It smells great; I can't wait to try it out!

The soap shop is a must when visiting Idaho springs, you can also get their products sent to you if you aren’t from the area which is nice considering I live about 10 hours from here! I love the soaps, lip balms and the body mist. They have such a wide selection of products and scents!

Got two soaps and a fizzy bath yesterday and everything smells amazing and works so well! The scents are lasting on your skin and very moisturizing. For reference I went to the Indian Hot Springs and needed a deep clean—soaps cleaned all the cooties right off. I live about 40 minutes away but it would be worth a stop to stock up when I’m in the area hiking etc.

Wonderful collection of homemade natural soaps. Very friendly staff. Go to store for your bathing needs. Highly recommend it.

Excellent customer service. The store smells excellent and I’m really excited to try my Mother Earth soap. I’m sure it’s going to be amazing!
