The Running Depot

I came in last week as a newbie to running and wanted to understand what a running shoe should fit like. Louise was amazing and let me try on about 10 pairs of shoes to understand what fit would be best for my wide feet. Although they weren't able to order the shoes I wanted in my size, I ordered them elsewhere and so far they feel great. Thank you so much 😊

I called in an order that they put on hold. On pick up, staff was super friendly and fast. They also let me know about a future savings. Will definitely consider for my next pair. Thanks!

I went into The Running Depot to find shoes that work for me. I have specifics I look for in a shoe and find that it's difficult to get the right shoe.
Ida took a LOT of time with me and showed me several shoes based on my specifications and I was really grateful that she listened and found the shoe that fits my needs.
She is knowledgeable and knew a lot about various shoes and even suggested one that I had never considered. It turns out that I went with a different brand (I am a Brooks girl) and I feel like everything that we discussed pointed to Asics. I am excited to see how these work for what I need, but most importantly, the customer service I received was top notch. I never felt rushed, and I felt that Ida listened and grasped what I wanted/needed.

The sales people here are friendly and knowledgeable. They take the time to learn for which activity you need shoes, whether it's hanging around town or training for a marathon. Then they choose shoes that not only fit well but are engineered for your personal gait. My workout pace actually improved once they helped me find the right shoes. I highly recommend this place.

Went there for the first time awesome experience, Pam waited on me got me fitted for a pair of walking shoes. We tried 5 different pairs and I ended up getting Brooks, it is like walking on air. Highly recommend this store for your athletic shoe needs.

Outstanding customer service!! I went here looking for shoes for work (veterinary technician). Brian was very knowledgeable and thorough when he was helping me. He recommended different brands for my needs and made sure everything fit perfectly. I will definitely be back again!

My wife and I signed up for the Chicago Marathon (first-time marathoners!) and we were told to come to The Running Depot for our shoes and other gear.

The try-on process was great, I didn't catch the gentleman's name but he was very encouraging and great to work with.

Whether you're going for a basic run, looking for comfortable shoes to walk in, or even some hiking gear, I'd highly suggest The Running Depot.

I highly recommend! I’m a somewhat new runner and am having tendonitis issues. Went in to get professionally fitted & came out with a different pair than I expected but couldn’t be happier! Brian was so professional, knowledgeable & kind.

I trust the running depot with the most important tool for running. They ensure fit. Take their time and make sure the shoe is the right one for your gait. Great customer service.

Walked in the store and was immediately assisted/greeted. Definitely a great experience compared to what you'd get in a big box store as others have mentioned. They took the time to watch me walk and identified that I had an over pro-nation which would require a special type of shoe. The best part was being able to take a quick test run on the treadmill and have them record it so we were able to see that the shoes worked for me.

Also a great return policy of 10/30 days so you can truly try out the shoes and make sure they work for you.
