Had the pleasure of walking in to Shay Boutique today and was pleasantly surprised by the charming store! Michelle, one of the store owners was so friendly! Love their selection of clothes! If you’re in downtown Crystal Lake don’t pass up stopping in the Boutique! I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised like I was great styles, and great prices too! I highly recommend!

Been shopping at Shay since the beginning. Great service, beautiful clothes. My Shay clothes have accompanied me on many vacations! Highly recommend!

Visited the area and this boutique recently for the first time. So happy I got the chance to shop this amazing store... So many unique items to choose from.. I wish I lived closer.. Thanks to the staff that was so helpful and welcoming during my visit.. I look forward to coming back to this gem in the future.. ❤

I can't say enough great things about this store. I love shopping in a store where the clothes are organized by color. It is so much easier to find what I'm looking for. Michelle always has great recommendations. She encourages me to try on items I would never have picked out myself but have become some of my favorite pieces. Be sure to check out this hidden gem in Crystal Lake, your closet will thank you!

I love this little boutique. She was very friendly and helped me put an outfit together. It reminded me of the boutiques in Nashville that I love. You never find the same clothes that everyone else is wearing from the chain stores. They have artesian jewlery too! Now you just need to get shoes and boots in there and it will be perfect! I go at least a few times a month :) and always walk out out with something.

I love this place. I went there looking for an outfit for ME to wear to a wedding shower and found one for my 13 year old too!! I wanted to buy all of it. And the jewelry is so unique and awesome!!! One of my very favorite stores of all time!!

Shay is By far the BEST boutique I have ever been too!!!! AMAZING customer services, always willing to help you and by far the best clothes, jewelry. Etc.. I would highly recommend Shay to everyone!!!

Just never friendly, I've gone in a handful of times & have never felt welcome. Guess its not my kind of place

I had been wanting to write a review on this shop for a while but I never got the nerve to do it, I am not a negative person or I am in no way wanting to pick a fight.. but I am truly disappointed in this establishment. I go in to be greeted half hearted by who I am assuming is the owner, I don’t not feel at all welcome. I have been to the store a total of about 3 times.. one time of which I asked the owner if they could contact me if they got new shipments of an item I liked, I never received any information. The last time I went in there was fairly recent. I again was only greeted by the owners unenthusiastic “hello”, every step I took in that store I felt an uneasy feeling like I am being monitored, not feeling confident enough to touch anything for fear I am not “worthy” of the merchandise sold at this establishment. Soon four more women came in and they were greeted with a more bubblier side to this shop owner further giving me clarity that I understood what was happening here, not only was I being judged by the way I was dressed, but by the colors of my skin and my age... I once again walked out empty handed from this establishment. And I will no longer step foot in there.

Terrible experience. Went here for the first time today. There was one lady behind the counter with a short blonde Bob. Never said one word to me. No "can I help you" or "how are you today". And I don't think she said anything to anyone else either. No eye contact. Weird. Really bad customer service. Will never go back.
