Martin's Do it Best Hardware

Very friendly staff. Prices are comparable to big box stores. For a stand alone place, they surprisingly have many hard to find items.

I have been fixing stuff at my house with the help of Martins for over six years now. They always have the right parts that the big box stores do not. I love the members points that i get in the mail. I get propane there and all of my water softener salts as well. Always helpful and always friendly. Thank you Martins for being local and being such a wonderful resource. Keep up the great service!

Always friendly and helpful. Even as a small store you feel like they have more available employees than your big box store. Pricing is fair and generally close to your big box competitors. Being a small local shop they carry supplies to cater the local community, ie well equipment, water filters, salt, etc

This place saves the day more times than i can remember. It is a small family-owned hardware store that carries a little bit of everything. They almost always have the rare or obscure part that I need. I the staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and its no wonder they've remained in business for so long. South Lyon is lucky to have not just one but two real hardware stores and Bud's is one of them. Have a project that you are working on but not sure how to get it all to peice together? Go to Bud's and their helpful staff will ponder it over and help you out. Have a wierd metric stainless screw you need to replace, they point you to the aisle, then the bin then the drawer. Great staff and service. This is what a hardware store is supposed to be.

Always plenty of staff available. This is a small local hardware store that is fast and easy to grab and go and get back to your project. It is not a lumber or mega store, which is what I like about it.
