The family who run this place is rad. Also, during Covid, this spot was ventilated & felt like a much safer place to get food. Grateful for this community spot!

A wonderful family owned and operated store. Fair prices and great products. I encourage everyone in the neighborhood to go here instead of the terrible "whole paycheck" they built across the street. Let's keep Oakland Independent and let's support each other and our businesses.

What a wonderful place to shop! Jamal, the owner, is very friendly and intent on providing a high level of customer service. He will ask how you are and will even order a particular item for you if he can. The food is high quality and they have almost anything you need for your house. They have convenient parking so it's easy to get in and out of the market. It also feels wonderful to support a small business whose owner lives in Oakland instead of giving money to a larger chain.

I love this place!!! They have been around a long time with great produce and bread. I am so very happy that even with whole foods directly across the street now the neighborhood is supporting them. Thank you neighbors for supporting this awesome family run business.

Cute little produce market with a great selection of quality produce and other food goods. Love going to this little, cozy place, it's very easy to miss. They have a lot of health food items. Fairly priced. Friendly staff.

They have Bubbie's pickles, what more is there to say? The produce selection is fresh. They have a fair range of products for a store of their size. Really happy I finally stopped by.

This was a really nice little organic market! They have a lot of good selection and their prices aren't. And they take EBT! The cashier was very nice and helpful too.

this neighborhood grocery has been absolutely clutch during shelter-in-place, especially for those scarce supplies like flour and yeast. Good fresh produce and dairy too.

I shop here and do not shop at that Whole Foods. They carry halloumi at a pretty good price compared to other stores that carry it.
