POParella's Gourmet Popcorn and Treats

First time coming here with some friends, the staff was friendly and they do not mind if you are taking your time to decide what you want to order. They have fudge, ice cream, candy, popcorn. The popcorn they make themselves as well as the flavors. They have a few new flavors I believe each week or once a month. This place was super cute and I was very surprised as the ice cream was $2.69 I believe for one scoop which you cannot find anywhere these days!

Amazing flavors of popcorn. Staff is always friendly and happy to get you a sample. The Movie Time popcorn is amazing if you are looking for savory. My kids like the birthday cake flavor if you’re looking for sweet.

I LOVE POParella’s so much that I’m not a Texas resident, but every time I’m in town I make it a point to stop in for a bag or two. The popcorn is delicious and fresh, and the service is always fast and friendly. I definitely recommend checking them out.

Service was great. So kind and so helpful. They recommended an assortment of both savory and sweet flavors. You can sample any and all flavors BEFORE you purchase so it was fun to try some of the more obscure and monthly special flavors. Ones we tried but didn’t get were hot dog and ketchup and dill pickle. One they recommended that is our favorite is the POPS CHOW. It is so delicious with a great texture. We did find that the chocolate sea salt caramel is WAY too salty for our liking. It seems like they have a wide enough variety to appeal to all different types of pallets.

After finishing with the samples, we purchased the 12 pack sampler. The receipt attached shows all the flavors we purchased. All in all the experience is great. We enjoyed the sweet flavors more than the salty but that may just be our personal preference.

I am one to always speak my mind when it comes to sharing my experience at any establishment that leaves an impression. Poparellas is all encompassing! Friendly, fun, vibrant and reasonable with pricing my needs for providing deliciousness in bulk! I love this place like it was my own family behind the shelves!

The popcorn flavors are so good! My favorite are the sweet and salty blends. Employees are so nice!

This place was amazing. The owner is so kind and sweet and all the popcorn is made fresh. They have over 40 flavors of popcorn and about 40% of them are dairy free! Which is a huge score! I would 100% recommend going here! They also have a variety of candies. Such a sweet small business to support and try out if you’re in the area! 10/10.

Went for some Popcorn, left with some popcorn and ice cream! I'm a plain 'Jane' kinda person so I always get vanilla ice cream.

BUT....They have Bluebell and Krazy Colors, which is Vanilla, but more fun! SOOOO goood. Highly recommend

I can not say enough good things about this popcorn store as I do not have the time, BUT, Has anyone noticed how customer service has gone to hell in all stores and restaurants? Well not at POParellas! You get amazing REAL gourmet popcorn with outstanding customer service! Just the other day, I forgot to pick up an order and the store person delivered it to my job!!! And just another tip, the jalapeño kettle and the garlic parmesan are out of this world!

The Best Popcorn Anywhere!

I am bound to take some heat for making such a claim, but come at me! I will die on this hill!

POParella's popcorn is amazing and the many different flavors and combinations available means you will never get popcorn fatigue.

My favorite is the Original O. The perfect, and I do mean perfect, combination of freshly popped kernels, slight buttery finish, and a hit of delicious popcorn salt. This is the popcorn you will crave above all else.

The "Dill" flavor is tangy, salty, and has the perfect vinegar hit to push this flavor toward the top of the list.

I will say, I am not a fan of sweet popcorn, but I have tried multiple sweet popcorn from here and if caramel, chocolates, and sugary treats are your thing, POParella's does not disappoint.

The prices range from extremely affordable for more basic flavors like the original, to "Oh, that's interesting" for the more complex flavors and mixes, but there are plenty of size options available for any budget.

The store itself is quaint and charming, located in downtown Frisco Square. You will feel like a kid in a candy store when you walk in. If you have any questions about the flavors, the staff are more than happy to let you sample before making a purchase.

In addition to popcorn, they have other treats like fudge, cookies, and cake pops. There is also packaged candy and drinks available.

The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, and the shop is tidy and smells amazing.

For those who prefer to stay socially distanced but still enjoy the amazing popcorn and treats, delivery is available of Uber Eats (not sure if available on other services) as of this writing.

The popcorn here is FANTASTIC! My girlfriend and I were craving something sweet and discovered this place, and it has become a must have for us. We now live in Massachusetts, but we make a point to stop by whenever we are in the area. Our favorite is easily the Pop's Chow. It brings back the kid in me.
I even ordered a shipment to Mass as part of a Valentine's Day gift. Never did I think I would be ordering popcorn halfway across the country. This place makes it worth it!

POParella made the most delicious popcorn for our wedding! We had custom boxes from etsy and the owner worked closely with my sister to make sure we had the right sizes. Even more of a hit was our cotton candy stand. My wife and I had a welcome party the night before our wedding with a caricature artist, henna artist, good food, and cotton candy! Poparella did not disappoint and was a major hit with the kiddos. Thank you so much for accommodating our needs!
