Great experience with Morgan’s today. Mike was awesome to deal with on the purchase of my new YS640. Offered a tour of his facility for a fellow meat market owner. It’s easy to think we are competition, but we may have become vendors for each other today. High recommend. The Prairie Fresh ribs on the new Yoder smoker was a great treat on this brisk Saturday evening.

Store was very clean, employees were pleasant, nice variety of fresh and frozen meats. They also have breaded veggies and the like for frying. The smokehouse marinade was very good. Nice selection of spices, rubs, and dry mixes for dips available. Block and spreadable cheeses and meat sticks too. Love cheese and meat snacks!
They have a small selection of shirts for sale as well

Great meat!!!! Friendly employees. Nice selection of stuff you're not likely to see at the big box store. Grab a fluffy burger or six and enjoy the best burger ever.

I have been shopping at Morgan's for going on 20 yrs and they have yet to disappoint. The store is always clean and the customer service is always helpful and friendly. Now, the quality of meat is beyond compare. I have bought elsewhere just because it was quicker but it pales in comparison to Morgan's. I generally get hamburger, stew meat and roasts which are always amazing and I also highly recommend their chicken breast, either plain or marinated. I personally love the sun dried tomato one, very tender. So, if you want the best of the best?! Shop Morgan's!!

A very good place to buy fresh meat for grilling!

I've never had a negative experience here. Each person I've ever spoken with over the years has been friendly and knowledgeable. If you are looking for exquisite quality and the best "bang for your buck" this is without a doubt the place to go. I couldn't be happier to have this respectable business right down the road!

I had stopped and checked out this company's meat selection over a year ago I thought their meat looked really delicious and inviting but I did not make a purchase at that time. A year went by and we decided that Walmart and other stores meats were not delicious or seem to be filled with chemicals that gave the meat an odd flavor. I purchased the $159 bundle this past month and incorporated that into my food bill for the month I have got to say Morgan's your meat is outstanding the flavor is very tasty the meat does not have any slime, odd textures, discoloration every piece of meat was hand wrapped with care, not to mention Morgan's has a full meat store with many other products they offer lots of things they don't carry else where I'll be a repeat customer thank you!!

Good selection of meat and other products. Prices are competitive with other butcher shops. The staff are friendly and courteous. I would stop by again when I was in the area. Give them a try and see what you think.

When visiting my mom in Mattoon I would always make a Morgan’s meat run. Now she lives in Savoy and I’m making a special trip today. Great fluffy burgers, juicy chicken and the bests filets. Worth the trip.

Love the new expanded store. They have a wide variety of meat and sauces. The people who work there are always so nice and helpful. Great variety of frozen foods as well.

Short Version: Very friendly staff, great selection and everything we've tried so far has been top notch!

Long Version: The wife and I drove @ 120 miles to visit as they are a Yoder Smokers dealer, upon arrival we perused the shop, but didn't see any smokers only the Yoder banner. While walking around looking at the food selection, the wife said she definitely wanted to pick up some of their frozen goods, I told her since we didn't have a cooler for transporting the frozen goods we'd drive to the local Wal-Mart and buy a cheap styrofoam cooler.

We asked the young lady running the register about the smokers, she said they currently didn't have any in stock, but we could talk to Mike, the owner, who had just stepped out of the back of the store about them.

Talking to Mike he told of us they were sold out, but he did have one in another building similar to the model we were interested in, and walked us over so we could see it. After discussing it and deciding we wanted one, Mike told us how long the wait time would be since Yoder currently has a large backlog on orders and he'd be happy to put our name on the list, he then gave us a great tip on how we might be able to find one sooner, which we did the next day. THANKS MIKE!

He then offered us a styrofoam cooler that they receive their ice cream in to save a trip to Wal-Mart, and gave us a peek of the big smoker they use to smoke meats for the store.

We filled up a cart with a wide selection of foods, which in turn filled up the cooler. Everything we've eaten from there has been delicious, so good in fact that we returned again the following week and left with another cooler full. As an added bonus the cooler works great as a poor mans Cambro for resting meats from our new smoker for hours before serving!

Even though it's a long drive, the staff is so friendly and the food is so good, that I'm sure we'll be making the trip many more times in the future as there is nothing comparable in our area.

Drove down from Peoria I'll. to look at Yoders smokers . Great selection lots of knowledge on smoker. My friend bought a smoker and I bought some fluffy burgers. We both left happy, and the burgers were great. Will drive down again.

This meat market has everything you could possibly need when you are shopping for meat. They have very friendly service the store is spotless the meat is beautiful and it is by far the best and most tender meat I have ever gotten anywhere . Try the rib eye and chuck roast absolutely Delicious and extremely tender !!!
I have moved out of Mattoon but I will always purchase my meat from Morgan’s.

I am from Charleston, IL & moved to Oklahoma & I make Morgan's a mandatory stop while visiting friends & relatives in the area. The kind of quality & service they give is unique & remarkable given our modern commerce today!

Awesome place to shop for best quality meat and cuts , hospitality at it finest , discussions on weather, schools, community events or national news always in session. Visiting again today and will leave smiling with prime meat.
