Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center

My wife had 2 kidney stones and was treated at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center. The entire staff from the admitting staff, the lab, the x-ray, the nurses, the PA, the Doctor, etc., were the most compassionate, caring, helpful people I have ever met!!! It was an amazing experience at a time when my wife needed it most.

Was hospitalized three times within 4 months. Each time through the ER with one time during their busiest time ever. Even though I had to wait an extended period of time, the ER staff made it as comfortable as possible even though sitting in the hallway. Even this busy day I was still treated with respect and patience. Of course I understand the demanding and stressful job of our healthcare professionals. I've been in other hospitals and Sarah Bush Lincoln ranks at the top.

Was in the emergency room with my daughter on 2/3/2024. The staff was so nice and helpful!! The nurse we had was so caring, I didn’t get her name but she made sure my daughter was well taken care of.

Randy FANTASTIC customer service extremely nice and helpful. Makes me wanna make him a friend. He is the older gentleman behind the desk of the emergency entrance. As of Feb 7 2024. I hope to see you around not for my need in the hospital

I really can not describe the nice experience I had bringing in a new addition to my family at this location, and words can’t describe the professionalism, hospitality, and love they showed here and how by far this was one of the best hospitals I’ve been to! All the nurses loved our baby and how much hair she had on her head lol and how they gave me an experience I’ll never forget with the birthing process. I would definitely recommend this location to my loved ones and friends! Thanks Sarah Bush OBGYN/Doctors , nurses, and staff for the warm welcome and experience!

This hospital is outstanding, All the nurses and Drs had great bed side manners and always worked hard to provide all my needs to the fullest . Thanks Sarah Busch for taking good care of me . I would recommend any family members and friends to go here.

My daughter needed a hip replacement. They offered a free class before the surgery to prepare for this surgery which was very helpful. The Dr. went above and beyond during the surgery to remove a rod from a previous accident and did exactly as he promised. They are taking very good care of her. I recommend this hospital and staff!

We had a great experience here at the ER and then in a regular room. The staff was so attentive and kind and wait times to be brought back, and examined and await test results were very short. I’ve had many ER experiences at different hospitals and this was by far the best. To all staff that worked to help us figure out what was going on and helped with pain and nausea, thank you!!

I was very impressed with the care we received during our recent stay at SBL. I would like to recognize some of the nurses that helped us out if there is a way to do that. They were amazing to state it simply!

I have never felt more welcome. I called the front desk of the emergency room and tried to book an appointment for my emergency. The lady greeted me, just like my own mother and before she hung up she said she loved me. The nurses catered me like a bird with a broken wing, gave me some good drugs to calm me down, and even followed my request of having a blanket fresh out of the dryer.

Went to ER for pain in my calf muscle this past Sunday. Couldn’t walk had extreme pain. I was concerned it was a blood clot. Nurse Jamie E was so caring called and got me in right away! Dr Cline came right in checked me and ordered a sonogram. Then once results were in he came back in to let me know! I can tell he truly cares about his patients!!! Everyone was so caring the ER was very busy but didn’t have to wait very long at all! Nurse Nic she was amazing made sure I was comfortable and didn’t need anything! I highly recommend SBL they are caring and very compassionate in what they do! Thanks for taking great care of me!

This is a number one hospital in this area! The staff the doctors all let you know the minute you walk in the door that you are their number one priority!! KUDOS to this hospital! Thank you for being a truly compassionate caring hospital! Most always the reason you're there in first place is because you need care empathy and compassion you get it all in this hospital!! Nurse Taylor Johnson and Noel Fopay are excellent care givers! The physical therapy exceptional and give you detailed instructions on how to move safely and not get
injured once it's time to be released. I cant speak highly enough of the quality of care I recieved from every department!

My mother was recently a pacient at SB. I was very pleased with the exceptional care she received during her stay. I know that care workers are stressed and overwhelmed. But everyone we came in contact with was friendly, dedicated and caring. Not one "sour pickle" in the entire bunch. I highly recommend this hospital. And a shout out to Rachel and Mandy and the entire staff at the SBLH, Martinsville Clinic, you rock!

I entered the fourth floor nursing unit after experiencing intense pain that took me to the ER. I had my gallbladder removed the next day. I found everyone at Sarah Bush Lincoln to be helpful and kind.

I went into the er last night with a huge abscess under my arm. I was scared and in pain, and Shelia, PA was absolutely amazing. Such a sweet soul that truly cares for her patients. She coached me through everything and made sure she let me know I was doing great the whole time. I couldn't have made it through this visit so smoothly without her!! She deserves to be recognized!!

Best hospital in the surrounding areas, the OB and ER department are exceeding in being fast paced and thorough. Dr. Schwing at the Effingham branch has been my GP for two years now and with him, i’ve been receiving the best care i’ve ever had. Thank you Sarah Bush!

They saved my Dad’s life!!! I can not thank doctors, nurses, and staff enough for all they did for my dad. They called a “code blue” on him and proceeded with cpr and had to shock him. I will forever be grateful for the staff at Sarah Bush , Mattoon hospital!!

I had a femoral artery bypass with debrisment of my right foot .. I couldn't be any happier with the staffing at the surgerical center .. Dr Green is super .. did exactly what we discussed .. now just waiting for this old body to heal

I saw Dr. Martinez at the Charleston Walk-In Clinic one day for a terrible migraine. I came in feeling absolutely terrible, however all of the staff was SO kind and attentive to my needs. Dr. Martinez gave me just the right medication to take away my migraine and nausea and I went home feeling 10 x better than I did when I walked in. I couldn't believe the difference. LOVE LOVE LOVE the staff at the Walk-In Clinic!

Outstanding medical staff - each and every person. They are the friendliest and most helpful staff I have encountered at any hospital facility. My father received outstanding care while a patient there. Dr. Mendella is a very caring, knowledgeable and skilled Doctor.
