Went there for the first time today after driving by so many times and always wondering what it's like. Let me tell you, that was one of the best cheeseburgers I've ever had. Double cheeseburger was out of this world. Fries were awesome too. I was SUPER impressed and can't wait to go back. This place is awesome and gets 5 stars from me.

This place is always on point. Crispy fries, hot burgers...and fast. This is like driving through for a restaurant burger! High quality meat...no McDonald's for us!

Great shakes at great prices! The taco salads are fantastic, reasonably priced. Large garden salad with cheese, jalapenos, generous portion of bean/ground beef spicy sauce on the side, your choice of dressing, crackers, and bag of Fritto chips.

Had a cheeseburger and large fries very tasty. You get a lot of fries a lot of food for the price very reasonable.

Can't brag on them enough, Always the FASTEST drive-thru in town, ALWAYS have my modified order correct (literally, in 15+ years, never a single mistake).... And it's the best burger in town, aside from the original BK... I'm a store manager for a franchise and would absolutely DIE for a crew like this. They also seem to hold onto a lot of their crew for years at a time, leading me to believe that it must be a half decent place to work... 10/10 Bravo!

I love French fries, and normally I'M disappointed. But both you and Charleston are excellent and I mean excellent crisp on the outside and soft in the center,and always HOT and that means so much, between the two locations Mattoon fries may be a little hotter, but both are.great, And the service has always been very good

Amazing burgers all the time. Many options to choose from. The cherry and vanilla is a shot of it so it’s amazing!!!! Always stop by when I can.

This is probably the BEST fast food joint in the area. There is only one in Charleston and in Mattoon and both have great food. They have the best fast food burgers and fries. The prices are decent for what you get.

The double McHugh's Burger with everything on it and probably the best burger that your ever going to get.
I dare you to try it and prove me wrong.
My wife just disagreed with me.
Their black and bleu Burger is the best that she's ever had.
One thing is for certain though once you try McHugh's, none of the other fast food places will taste as good afterwards.

Seriously this is one of my favorite places to eat in Coles County! The fries are absolutely AMAZING!

Very good fresh, hot food. They have a variety of fries, along with sandwiches. Bbq, burgers, chicken, hot dogs, Served lightning fast!

Its a little after noon and there was a whole line full of people in the drive thru. Took less than 5 minutes to get my food HOT, FRESH AND CORRECT. This service is always consistent. They rock!

Like a search for the needle in a hay stack, my nationwide quest for milkshake excellence made a stop to test the offerings at Mchughs. The quest will continue as long as there are milkshakes to try with Mchughs as a contender for top tier performance. While perfection in a shake for me will always be chocolate, the seasonal peppermint candy cane shake is certainly worth the effort to draw through a straw. Also available in chocolate and worth every creamy shake good taste until the sadness that overwhelms me when the straw runs dry.

Staff are friendly, drive thru was fast and the French fries are better than McDonald's
