Trader Joe's

What an excellent store. Last time I went I completely forgot my wallet and I said I’d be back soon. We live close by. I came back everything was bagged and rung up and waiting by customer service. Never happened before at any other grocery store. Prices are very good. We’ve been convinced to change a lot of our grocery shopping to Trader Joe’s.

This is my "go-to" Trader Joe's location. I used to shop here while living in the U-District. I now shop here five and a half years later, a couple of times a week, due to being right by my office and bus route home. However, the cleanliness, friendly staff, security, reliable selection, and short lines are fantastic, even though this particular location is one of the smaller locations in the Seattle metro area. The produce is always fresh and in good supply, and the employees are continually restocking and willing to help you if needed.

When did Trader Joe's become the inexpensive place to buy supremely high-quality ingredients? I don't know but I'm HERE for it. If you go on a Saturday morning fairly early you can skip the rush.

At the register, our cashier, Taylor, gave us the last one of the Trader Joe’s mystery bags that he had personally been planning on buying. It was a very kind and selfless gesture.

Always the best staff Roosevelt Way,.So nice. So wonderful and you never wait even on busy days. They pulls crew out to helping the counter. WONDERFUL MANAGERS SOME ONE knows how to run an efficient super friendly 😄 place UNLIKE THE New Safeway which has gang war fights even w the Security slamming people down in the pavement outside. I saw a GANG FIGHT and avoid that new Safeway like the plague. People were getting hurt really bad.

So Trader Joe's (surrounded by the same homeless issues)STILL MANAGES to have EXCELLENT SECURITY STAFF (no ones mean. It their on top of their game!) And you don't see it coming into the store.. like I said it's a much safe place to go... Yaya Trader Joe's ROOSEVELT WAY 😍🥰

Feels like heaven being here! Trader Joe’s has very unique yet delicious food that not any market can ever have. Some of their food is even better than others, and they’re not even that more expensive! (such as the pecan pie)

Love their branding too! It’s amazing how the packaging for each product is aethestically different!

A throwback run to the trader Joe's in my old stomping grounds, u-district. They have good selection, clean store and quick checkout despite being Pretty busy on a Saturday night.

Would like to shout out Ashley! I am newly 21 and very intimidated by the large selection of wines, but Ashley helped me so so much and literally made my anxiety about choosing go away! She was so knowledgeable and approachable and made the experience 10/10. Very thankful for people like her who make shopping experiences positive!!!!!!

Trader Joe’s is a staple in the community. Without Trader Joe’s what would we do, I’ll tell you, stand in long lines elsewhere and or have your groceries checked out by AI checkout stations having zero personality nor smile.

We love Trader Joe's. The employees are very happy and great to deal with. Great selection of various foods and drinks.

I can always easily find what I need as well as many other great products. The only thing I wish was different would be the distance from my house. Although this is the closest TJ's, it's still quite a ways away from me and can be difficult to get all my groceries home without a car

Nice snacks! The chocolate clusters taste really gooooood.

Typically brilliantly presented wide variety of clever, tasty products. It would be amazing if they branched out internationally like some of their "competitors" have. Of course, there is no real competition for this amazing chain.

My favourite grocery chain in Seattle, fresh produce with an emphasis on organic, good selection, friendly staff, decent prices.

Big fans of Trader Joe’s in this household. This specific one can get kind of crazy. Apparently they’re busiest day is Monday so don’t go then and also set realistic expectations on you leaving with an avocado as all the students love some avocado toast..

Love this store. Has everything you want and more. Healthy eating. Lots of flowers, vegetables, salads, dairy products, chips, cheeses, meats, breads, deserts, big selection of wines, soda, sparkling drinks, etc. Great store on Roosevelt Ave.

I love Trader Joe's. 😁💖 The employees are amazing and friendly. I love the new food items that come out. I always stock up on several of my favorites. I also try to eat foods from different cultures. I might not be traveling to these fabulous countries, but at least I can have a delicious meal at home.

I love me some Trader Joe's. Just wished the wares we're consistent. But that's TJ's. This particular location can be busy/crowded, but that's due to the lack of other supermarkets in the area currently. The staff are always helpful and friendly. The parking can be an issue at times, but hey, it's the U-District. As a person who has worked in the security industry for decades, I feel like the folks hired for this location could kick it up a few notches, especially in the garage and enter/exit area. Just saying...

Otherwise, like almost all TJ's, amazing selection of items you won't find elsewhere. Have at it!

And check out that Lemon/Ricotta ravioli, it's truly amazing...

UPDATE: Retracting anything previously posted about their security, as the last several times I've been there, their security has been nothing but pleasant and helpful and friendly. Seriously, you could do MUCH worse at many other shops and markets with incredibly aggressive security. I still feel welcome here. As should everyone.

The location (for me) is hella convenient & neighborhood's great, not trippin if I have to walk over to grab a few things. Clean, busy store. Employees are always friendly, (seemingly) happy & even though they're a busy store in the u district...I've never actually had to wait for very long at all to check out .
Open til 9. Meeting all of your expectations for the selection,quality & fair prices TJ's is known for.

Good grocery store, but beware it gets pretty crowded during weekends and similar peak hours.
