Rite Aid

I've had pretty bad experiences here over the past three years, but I feel like this month, they've drastically improved. I'm not sure if they hired more people to curb being understaffed or what, but they are more efficient, kinder, and very professional. I hope that this positive change is sustained! Thanks, pharmacists!

This is my favorite pharmacy. They are always professional and helpful. Even when it is busy they still manage to maintain and exceptional level of service. The store manager is always hustling around to get things done and take care of customers.

Transferred my prescriptions from another pharmacy in the area (Walgreens), and rite aid is so much better. They are open dependable hours, answer their phone promptly , fill prescriptions quickly and have my prescriptions in stock. Service is night and day compared to previous pharmacy.

The people in the pharmacy are absolutely outstanding. The nicest people ever!!! The pharmacist took the time to explain to me the slight differences in medications, they worked hard to get me the lowest price possible, and they always have a smile on their faces. I can’t believe anyone would have a problem with this pharmacy. The one on Barton, yeah. I’ve had issues with them, for sure. So, I just don’t go there anymore. I’ve been going to the California Ave Rite Aid for several years and will continue to do so. I’m always surprised when I go to a different pharmacy and they don’t treat me like they do at my Rite Aid. I HIGHLY recommend going here for all your pharmaceutical needs. Also, the people that run the front counter do a great job and are really kind.

I just got my COVID-19 booster and it was pretty smooth. I first made an appointment but then decided to walk in. Registration was simple and the check-in staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The pharmacist was funny and he gave us parting gifts of hand sanitizer and Halloween candy. I couldn't ask for a more pleasurable experience.

I just got off the phone with them. Took less than 2 minutes to solve my problems. I’ve switched my prescriptions here from the Bartell’s in Jefferson Square after one full year of consistently poor customer experiences and I’m never looking back.

There’s never a line either. Can’t overstate how essential this pharmacy is to the neighborhood.

Love this place. It's my neighborhood go to store for quick items, grab and go household necessities and great prices on wine! You can get in and out quick. They bring in a back-up clerk if there's more than two people in line. They are on top of things! And I can bring my dog on a leash! Great customer service! Super speedy! I go here now more than Safeway or Thriftway. To clarify, this is the Rite Aid store on California Ave. 😊

I want to clarify that my bad experiences were with the Westwood Village/Barton St location! I've switched to the California Ave SW location and the pharmacist and their staff has gone well above and beyond what should be expected from them. The pharmacist even sat on hold for over a half an hour to get my med ok'd! The staff here are pleasant and helpful!

I've been using to Rite Aid pharmacy for 20-some yrs...I've never seen it this bad. The pharmacists are terribly condescending, even when it's their mistake. And there's a lot of mistakes. My last refill was short by 5 pills which I noticed the very next day when I decided I'd count them due to the past couple of months I've run out sooner than normal. Of course..they refused to acknowledge or entertain the fact that it could be their error. I let it go but will never pick up again without having them counted in front of me. If they continue to be rude and condescending.. I will definitely go elsewhere from now on. The only thing keeping me there is the location and the HUGE savings I receive from my Rite Aid points.

The pharmacist Sombo Vorng was very friendly and professional. I have a fear of needles and he made my experience painless and enjoyable. I drove 30 mins down to get the vaccine , but Sombo and the hardworking pharmacy staff made it worth it!

I got both COVID vaccines here and the Pharmacist at this RiteAid location is outstanding! He makes you feel welcome, comfortable and explains the process flawlessly putting you at ease! Highly recommend this RiteAid location and Pharmacist!!

My neighborhood pharmacy. As a senior member of the community it’s great having my Rite Aid pharmacy within walking distance. Plus, they always seem to have the things that I need.

Came here for my covid booster shot. Sombo was great, I didn't feel anything at all in my arm. He was so nice, too. I'd recommend this location for vaccinations.

Came here for my COVID vaccines and Sombo was amazing both times. Each time was painless and was incredibly sweet. I hope they continue to keep him bc he’s such an amazing asset to the pharmacy team! Thank you Sombo!

I got my vaccine here by the same women both times and she was wonderful! Hardly felt a thing and she was warm and informative.

Got my Covid booster Vax there and it was easy and great! The pharmacist there is a kind and hilarious person. :)
