I’ve been to this location many times with my grandma, the area might seem ruff to those who aren’t from around here, but if you need something to eat, or something for your home it’s a great place to go, my grandma always gets sparkling flavor infused water so if there’s any lovers of that beverage reading this , hey you’ve just find your new go to spot.

I'm a regular shopper and disabled those females that are working their right now are doing a awesome job, place cleaner and stocked up and I can get through aisles with my walker 🙏👍💯

Spent too much money on some great clothes. Lovely material & pants so soft & wear them all day . Very comfortable. Love Dollar General, prices are cheap for good products.

In the past I would avoid this store if possible. Now I really don't mind. The new management has really turned this place around! And the new staff are friendly! Looks so clean now and well organized.

I enjoy going there to get pillows, pillow cases, curtains, and laundry stuff and even food and drinks plus snacks. Staff is always friendly, and helpful.

I like that they greet you and walking in the door and they're helpful if you have questions but they seem to be overwhelmed all the time I wish they could get them help at 8 store for always being overworked and I'm sure underpaid

I love a good deal and you can find it here. The gal that works there when I usually go there is so kind. I just can't give up a great deal!!!

Great place to shop. Most stores run a tight ship this store does. Employees are nice and always busy

Merle hay store is great ut the other store could use some corporate experience especially with customer service.

Short stop for quick laundry supplies. Snacks. Decorative boxes clothes. Baby supplies.

This store seems to be get better, although it's a bit on the rougher city sides of Des Moines.
