Hy-Vee Grocery Store

I had a Wonderful experience (other than at checkout and paying,LOL) at this particular Hy-Vee. The store was Exceptionally Clean and Organized, I mean Exceptionally!! I will be definitely shopping at this Hy-Vee again, and I live on the South side of Des Moines, this Hy-Vee is located at Euclid and Martin Luther King. I had no problem with parking ( I was there around 1 pm on a Tuesday). All the Employees I interacted with was very nice, friendly and helpful. The products were all well organized and nothing was out of place. I cannot say anything Bad about this Hy-Vee Store. Keep up the good work everyone 👏 👍 I will be back. And the Polish King Food Truck is located in there Parking lot, this an added plus (love me some Polish King).

A good store no doubt. Prices are higher than I think they should be " and I am well versed in local food pricing at other stores." However, Hy Vee being a premium grocer does afford them a little leway... Bit I Do Know that lowering DELI prices Will Reduce waste and this Will allow you more yes More profit... I assure you that watching people " yes I did for over an hour," yes I am OCD, I saw enough pass by's to know the statement I just made about Deli prices being lowered, thus cutting waste Will Allow you sell more thus helping feed more people and you Will see increased profits.

Great neighborhood store.. make a new renovation. And close to other shopping center and bus stop

I shop at this store literally everyday. The people are always so nice.

This evening I want to Thank the checkout clerk, Joel Y he was the most patient person I've had, I love to shop the HyVee Perks, but many times the prices aren't set on the register, it's takes time to show the clerk the sale price , but Joel was so kind. He made sure we got all the correct sale prices. ...

For a Hy-Vee, this store was a disappointment. Fruits and vegetables were a disappointment. Understocked dry goods.

My parents used to shop at this location. They did a wonderful job on the remodel and I love the donuts at this location!

The store is clean, organized and stocked to the best of their availability but Hy-Vee corporate seems to ignore this store. All employees are very helpful, engaged and even friendly, that's not something you see out in the burbs.

I wish I could give you easier feedback on the hyvee brand items. Like the tuna hyvee brand is WAY to strong!

Hyvee MLK and Douglas has Great staff, a clean store and reminds me of what Hyvees were years ago, helpful smiles in every aisle.

I was originally upset for a week about having left my Nescafe Coffee at the store.. I also misplaced my receipt but had a digital receipt of my purchase. Totally my fault for leaving it at the store but I explained my scenario and Patrick Grande was extremely kind and gave over-the-top customer service and exceeded my expectations by purchasing the coffee out of his own pocket ! Wow this guy needs a raise because he was adamant about following company policy and not refunding without a receipt..
I've done a lot of reviews and I've been to 30 states of 50 and never have I ever seen someone go above and beyond like this.. ❤ 😍 💖 ❣ 💕 💘 ❤ 😍

Edit: I actually miss my home store. The selection at the Fleur Dr location is so much better. I still prefer hy vee to any other store in the area though it's a little pricey but the produce and meat quality makes up for it. You truly do get what you pay for.

Hy-Vee is a great company and has expanded so much in the community. They have done a lot for the community as well. I think it's probably a good place to work too. This location could still work on some improvements.

Although this is one of the area's smaller Hy-Vee stores, this location somehow manages to make cozy work and also to put everything you need in a wonderfully organized, easy to use setup. Friendly employees are the icing on the cake here.

A helpful smile in every aisle. Hy-Vee is the Gold Standard as far as I'm concerned. This particular store is a rebuild from a massive storm that caved in the roof. They expedited the rebuild and made it the staple that this neighborhood needs...better than ever.

I never really have any issues finding what i need grocery wise and their deals are usually pretty nice

This Hy-vee suffered from the storms on June 30th/July 1st. It just reopened yesterday after a major remodel. They somehow found ways to cram even more food and services into the limited amount of space. Yes some of it was by removing the front north most entrance and moving the shopping carts into that area, reorienting the remaining checkout lanes, and so much more. There was more free samples then I recall there ever being. Selection seemed just a little different, likely slight change or slightly more items. Prices were pretty much the same, though they did have some great sale items. The most important thing is that it's open again.
