Fantastic wine shop with local events, classes and knowledgeable staff. Richard the owner is usually there with a free tasting and very interesting and warm conversation! free parking lot. We joined the quarterly wine club and have enjoyed Richard’s choices. Best of Ballard!

What a happy accident to come here during my visit to Seattle. Sylvia and Richard are the most generous and thoughtful hosts. From the wine selection, to the vibe to the amazing people - we absolutely loved out time to sit back, relax and enjoy delicious wine and special company. Thank you Wine Outlet for creating such a beautiful space. Not only do they have amazing classes, but they also make it easy to find and discover new wines that will quickly become your favorites.

What a great find. Don't be fooled by the outside, inside are some great wines and the owner definitely knows what he is doing. He spent the time with us to introduce us to several wines from regions we hadn't tried before. Very friendly, very helpful and a very nice selection of wines. We will definitely be back..

Richard is helpful, generous, and friendly and offers clients/everyday people, an excellent patient wine tasting service. Feel free to ask him anything. He is very knowledgeable about wine and wineries worldwide. The place is huge, archtecturally pleasing, has a welcoming atmosphere so plan to spend some time there. We've been going for years...

Stumbled upon this place on our way to holy mountain and was immediately invited to an informal tasting. We got a few bottles which were amazing, so naturally we had to sign up for the wine club. Great value! $125 (plus taxes) for 6 bottles every quarter! It's better than signing up at a local winery since there are more options in terms of wine regions, wineries and style. Thanks Richard!

Excellent. We were wine club members when we lived in Seattle. Great to visit during our 2-week visit. We stocked up for the visit and for our next stop. Richard and his team do a great job of curating a diverse collection of wine and it's always great value.

Come for the selection, but stay because Sylvia is amazing! She knows her stuff and is always able to recommend something special. Never had a bottle I didn’t enjoy from wine outlet; a range of prices for an eclectic selection. This is my go-to wine shop.

If you want to buy wine at an amazing price from someone who has been part of the wine industry in many capacities including a wine writer and sommelier, look no further. It is a locally owned store and I don't go anywhere else. He is our wine guy.

Holy moly where do I start! If you want to learn about wine you have to go to this class. The instructor is amazing, extremely knowledgeable and friendly. You really do find yourself immersed in his stories. He even made the whole class bread to eat while tasting!! I’m beyond excited to sign up for another class and will be recommending this to everyone who wants to grow their knowledge in the best hobby out there 😎

I have been a member of the Seattle Wine Club (Wine Outlet) since its inception and have never been disappointed with either the quarterly club offerings or the occasional "wine alerts" from Richard which have always been fantastic deals on great wines. I would highly recommend that you stop by the Wine Outlet and chat with Richard, the proprietor. He's extremely knowledgeable and will send you out the door with something you'll enjoy.

Came here as an impulse stop because I was a last minute invite and of course, you have to bring something. I was helped by Richard. He made recommendations for the types of wines that would go best if mixed. It's a great balance of what you want to spend and what type of wine or cocktail you are going for. A good source that I overlooked while living in the area. Great selection, fair prices, and you have someone to help you pick out what you want for the group if you have no idea what to get.

These guys know their wines. They are thoughtful about suggestions and have fantastic prices too! Plus the wine classes are excellent. This is a great place to get everyday wine as well as special occasion wines. I love Richard and Paul!

This wine shop is absolutely incredible!! The owner (manager?) frequently has tastings open for whatever he has in stock. He is also more than capable of helping you find something based on vague direction ("I like big reds from South America, but not too tanniny.") I also love how they will do customer appreciation events, like hot dogs on 4th of July! Wine outlet is truly a gem.

Been coming here for ten or fifteen years. Richard is a wealth of knowledge and expertise and bends over backwards for his customers. Can't recommend it more highly.

This place is excellent. The wines are affordable. Richard is extremely knowledgeable, and there is always new inventory in stock.
