Excellent staff! I really appreciate this Safeway! The Guard named A.C. was really humble to speak with. He made me feel welcome and safe in the area as I was just in time when Safeway open @ 6am. Need to stock up on food!!! lol. I will definitely be back brother! God bless!!!😊

Enormous supermarket with anything you could ever need, and even features a couple other stores like Starbucks and Wells Fargo. Service is quick and efficient, and the cashiers are quite kind and welcoming. Prices are actually quite reasonable compared to other food prices in this incredibly expensive city.

I am really glad to learn today that the Webster Street Safeway will stay open until January 2025. I am really happy for the grocery clerks, and the community.

Delicious deli food! The store is very clean and organized. I was in the deli at lunchtime, and there was no line.

Good and nice grocery shopping store, I like it fresh bakery items , chees fresh veggies n fruits , sandwiches , chips , frozen foods , fish medicines, every thing and dedicated pharmacy ( where a great experienced men and a Asian and chines women) make it great because they talk like very soft and in lovely way , thanks Safeway, also customer service good n Starbucks is also there.
Today 04/18/2022 we have tried many Oat milks but this green chobani Zero suger milk is outstanding for suger patients, dairy allergy patients as we tried and get best results.( coz I’m a diabetic patient n my wife has dairy allergy , but after using this milk my suger is normal n my wife has no dairy allergy.

I love shopping at this Safeway. Security guards are respectful and welcome u in store. And the staff are wonderful. Well except for one person but I didn't get her name she short and I believe Mexican. She was flat out rude. Thought I was stealing however I bring in my own bags...

It was pretty neat, many workers, clean and very efficient. Only thing if you are needing the disable car they aren't ready and only one. But other than that, customer friendly and smells neat 😁

There were two staff at the Safeway I was just really impressed by. A staff named Jen was dealing with a rude and demanding customer, and was just patient and doing what she could to help. And another staff Angela who was helping me at the checkout counter was just so kind and empathetic to Jen, telling her that she got her back, and thanked her for being helpful. Just super decent people doing the right thing. They REALLY deserve to be recognized for just being good, decent folks.

The customer service is always great. All the staff are very friendly and during peak hours they do their best to get you through the line as quickly as possible, which I really appreciate. The area is very convienent and there are two main bus stops within a minutes walk, the 22 and 31.

There was a young man working self check out with quite a long line and various impromptu issues he had to troubleshoot. He literally did it with a smile as he hurried from Customer to Customer.

This Safeway is a little odd it's kind of small but they crunch a lot of stuff into their space. little disappointed the deli was closed at like 7pm...so no turkey for me. The self checkout line is always really quick and easy is easy however the other check out maybe not so much. I do have to say that San Francisco is really tough on their grocery stores. whatever they seem to be doing at this Safeway is working.. This one is a little cleaner, less crazy, and I feel a little safer At this location. so I give them 5 stars for that .

I had a great experience with pharmacy technician Vy Le in your Safeway. She provided a great service during her lunch time to supply me and some other people who where in line with their medications. I would like to show our great appreciation for her devotion for the people.,

Love this store I cash my check here once a week picked up money orders and buy my groceries here more than twice a week. I love the blonde customer service lady who cashes my check the manager is super nice too. I've never had any complaints and I haven't met a more polite and patient staff. The store has everything we need and love that its only a 4 minute bus trip away. 5 stars for awesome staff the best food and awesome location

It's Safeway. What else is there to say? It has a comfortable, warm, pleasant interior atmosphere and a friendly, helpful staff enhance that natural ambiance. All of their many varied products are organized efficiently, making the shopping experience both easy and intuitive. The aisles are always well maintained and free from obstructions, and the shelves and displays are typically fully stocked and in good order. There is ample parking in a clean and really navigable parking lot. And it's in a culturally rich and cherished neighborhood.

I'm a person of color but they don't treat me like a criminal coming to steal something, other stores seriously need to follow Safeway way of protecting store from items being stolen because people of color isn't the only ones out there causing mayhem.

They had cheese sticks , lays potato chips, and coke 20oz. All on sale. I about broke out into a song and dance because of the ice cream I had stuffed down my pants

Again another great Safeway. The store was clean, well stocked, nicely organized, with friendly knowledgable staff.

I personally love self check out. Today the machine I was using acted up. So, I pushed the button for help and within 2 minutes I received help.

If you are near any Safeway, do your shopping, get a snack, get plants, flowers, etc. EVERYTHING IS FRESH.

It was AWESOME! I was at the Castro valley Safeway and Sergio who is the regional manager for the produce departments in that neck of the woods was really wonderful. If I got his title wrong I apologize and if he isn't he should be! The produce was fresh and cleanly displayed. The butcher was VERY accommodating and SINCERELY nice. He appeared to be an older gentleman (maybe Italian?) and was nice the way butchers used to be😄 I LOVE to buy food and I must say I was impressed. This will DEFINITELY be my "go to" Safeway when I'm in the Hayward area🙂
