Excellent service by all. Store is larger than my former Tom Thumb and I love that. It even includes a Starbucks!

To the Bakery Department: my husband bought a package of small Bear Claws, but they’re not officially Bear Claws.
Your Bear Claws lacked the almond filling.

Update 2-1-22-I have been back many times and all of the workers in Tom Thumb are wonderful. It’s so huge, that you’re going to find what you need.

I’ve shopped here 30 years; best people & grocery period! Norm at customer service, he’s helped me with so many things, none more important than sharing where he got that KN95 early pandemic! Too many people to list; Kroger better listen~this store is special!!!!!!!

Several weeks ago I purchased an Apple gift card from the store Kiosk. I did NOT know I was being scammed as the text came from my Boss and just after I missed his phone call. It was the “perfect storm” for me to fall victim (I was already running errands).

BE AWARE this season of giving! Store kiosks are filled by third party providers AND may or may not contain COUNTERFEIT cards that you would have NO way to identify before purchasing.

One of the store employee let me know MULTIPLE people have called with complaints specifically about Apple Cards.

Gift Cards are considered “non refundable” once you leave the store and put the responsibility on the card (i.e. Apple) to make good on the counterfeit.

Because I used a debit card (this was my boss I was getting this for) I didn’t think twice. My bank told me - NOT OUR PROBLEM, you made the purchase (of a COUNTERFEIT). Apple did not take care of it BECAUSE it was purchased by fraudulent intent).

After speaking to the Store Manager - he finally made good on the refund.

I asked WHY - if you know this Kiosk more than likely contains “some” counterfeits don’t you WARN YOUR CUSTOMERS?!

Scammers have gotten so good at ghosting numbers and making gift cards “appear” real (mine was sealed with a holographic sticker etc…) they know they will never be caught OR charged for their crime.

At least there are good Managers who have the authority to “make a decision” to do the right thing.

I will definitely return to this store, but I will NOT be buying gift cards from any retailer’s kiosk!

I always post employees with great customer service skills and who were awesome. I had some difficulties checking out in the self check area while trying to purchase my items. Lazarus & 'Q., at this location (Preston Rd. Dallas,TX) went above and beyond and fixed my problem with my purchase. This is the reason I'm giving 5-stars instead of 4-stars for he price of both types of oranges. The oranges were expensive even on sale but, the Cara oranges at this Tom Thumb were some of the best oranges I've tasted in a long time. The Navel oranges were a close second. The old saying "is you get what you pay for ", is true in this case 😋🍊👍

These drinks are awesome they are caffeine free and natural flavors. 10 for 10 if you have a Tom Thumb card but if not their $ 1.49 each. Go and find your flavor

The people who assisted us were very kind and helpful. My sister was using a motorized cart and it was losing power. A very nice man named Andy made sure we got to our car and unloaded our groceries. Thank you so much!

Great store close by my apartment for a quick grocery shop! They had exactly what u was looking for and I was able to be in and out in less than 10 min. I recommend visit this location for sure! Plus their bakery had a great selection of delicious desserts to choose from!

I'm mostly leaving this review for Q whom was very attentive & helpful manning the self checkout area today. Several people there needed some kind of assistance, & Q was very quick & courteous to help everyone without ever getting frustrated.

As far as the store is concerned, it's always clean & well stocked, but I find that true of most Tom Thumbs.

Update: situation seems to have improved. No expired products found, and some things marked down on their day of expiration. So there seems to be a real awareness of this issue now. Kudos for making that change!

Also, self check out assistant team members always very friendly and helpful!

I have to recommend Tom Thumb not only do they have that small store customer service you want but the items and prices can't be beat during these economical times.
Oh by the way, they were one the only stores open when everybody else was closed!

Good prices on some items, terrible prices on others. Just like every other grocery store in that way, but clean with lots of selections to choose from.

I always come to this supermarket to pick prescription for my kids. They are very nice people and always have what you need. I am very pleased with the staff there.

Very good selection. So clean and the cashier was so nice! They have special carts for kids with a built in car with steering wheels which makes it so easy to go shopping with a toddler.

My son works nearby so my "I forgot......." at the grocery store is accommodated on the way home.

One of our favorites is the homemade soups in the deli. Great variety and so tasty!

The employees are very friendly and helpful. Love their floral department is a very good one.

When I first started to come to this store (years ago) the manager was egotistical. The bakery was not great and no one was really.... helpful.
Today, The new store manager has done better and you can definitely see the changes. My husband and I love shopping here. Thank you to all the workers who put themselves at risk to provide groceries and necessities

This location is near my residence and they literally always have everything that I need. They have fresh sushi everyday, hot meals and fresh seafood. The veggies are always fresh and in season and their wine selection is second to none.

I just love everyone in the Pharmacy. Very helpful. Always willing to go the extra mile. I can always depend on them for answers that are understandable. Sheila and Nikki are the best pharmacists that that location has had in a long time.

The Tom Thumb application is rough, it's not organized very well even though you can shop by isle. The rewards program is really worth signing up for and be sure to use it before shopping.

All the stores in Dallas are very nice, clean, well stocked and some even have team sportswear for Dallas Cowboys and Rangers. The produce section is better than Trader Joe's and Whole Foods.

Their deli counters are lacking in products and pretty small and unimpressed by them.

The pet section is adequate, they have too much local competition to do more.

Tom Thumb is so much better than Kroger.

Had everything I needed in stock, thay wad nice. Fresh fruit is always hit or miss at grocery stores, but I got some peaches and they were perfect. Clean store, and prices are actually really good with card membership.

Clean, organized, and well stocked. I go there mainly for produce, as it's fresh and always tastes good. The bakery is exceptional. DISCLAIMER: It's only worth it if you are a Tom Thumb member. Otherwise, it's way too expensive. The good thing is that joining is free, and you earn points which can go towards discounted gasoline.
