Gordon Food Service Store

On thanksgiving eve.. i was lots of miles away from friends and family picking up a grocery order at gordon food. While loading my jeep the wind shut my door and locked me out. With only 2hrs left to shop & 20% battery i was so in trouble. The staff allowed me to wait inside store, they let me use the iPhone charger!! They were so helpful and nice from the time i walked in to the time the tow company unlocked my jeep!! The manager put my items in freezer that I didn’t load in jeep! I must say i was shopping in the right place and without them being so kind I would’ve had a nervous breakdown!
I appreciate the service and thoughtfulness of me being left in cold for hours!

Wow! One of the best GFS stores I’ve been in, much better than my home store. Lots of variety and well stocked. Clerks were very responsive to questions and quickly helped us get in and out.

I actually love coming to this store for all the little extras we always need for work. The staff is always so helpful and they always have a smile on their faces.

Here are the pro's and cons. Pro, Very nice and very large and very well stocked. Pro, the staff is very attentive and helpful. Pro, You get boxes to store your purchases when you exit the store, which is a plus. They have everything I needed,. Con, they were out of the wings I really like, no biggie. Which is the Perdue Chicken wings. Close to me. A bit high in price range. The hot dogs are awesome.

I love shopping at GFS. They have special sizes that can't be bought from the regular grocery chains. All of their food is restaurant quality at, (or less than) chain store prices. I have been a regular shopper at GFS for several years! It is a great place to shop if you are planning a party of any size and kind.

Kort, the new store manager, is helpful and professional.

GFS has a reputation of only stocking only large sizes of generic products. If the general public knew what was really in the store and how anyone can shop there (no membership needed, I feel the store would be busy all day long!

One of my go to places for many supplies. Good selection of food packaging/dispensing supplies, unique restaurant quality frozen food supplies and prepared meals. Supply for cleaning, and items in large can or packages. Helpful staff. Recommend

Good selection of commercial food service supplies and food products. Very good prices. Lots of free parking and also boxes for use in carrying purchases.

First time i have ever been to this store. Loved it. I was amazed at how nice the store employees were.

I have to stop there for work at least once a month sometimes three times in a day. They always recognize me greet me and immediately asked what they can help with. Love that place they special order things for me that no one else can get.

Have been going here for years for spices, large cans of chopped sea clams, tea and more. Fun to shop there.

Great options for feeding lots of people at affordable prices. Always receive compliments on "my recipes" when time doesn't allow for personal prep. I count on Gordon's!

Clean store, the staff is helpful, and the prices are comparable to Kroger unless you're buying for a business with the rewards program.
