As a Canadian, whenever I go shopping in the states I'm struck with awe like a communist's first exposure to the free market. Better products, better prices, free plastic bags and genuinely pleasant experiences with the cashiers. We won't use the self checkouts because it's such a treat to have cashiers and staff that smile. Compared to our cramped, overpriced and underserved grocers in Canada, Meijer is absolutely phenomenal....and this location does it even better. Thank you to the staff!

I need to gloat about two of your employees. First, Gloria at self checkout. Talk about a woman in the right position. You did good here. She is helpful, kind and so sweet, even when you know she has had enough and wants to go home. Whatever she is paid is not enough...Just saying as a customer.
Second is Jeannette, in spices. My husband and I have been looking for 'Kitchen Bouquet' for weeks now, all stores being out. We asked Jeannette, who was putting up spices at the time, and I swear that woman found the last bottle in the state of Michigan for us. We seriously can't thank her enough.

Very good place for shopping overall, they have all the items. Their fresh vegetables are very good, we always buy vegetables from here. They have around 16 self scan counters and around 10 usual ones, they have Meijer Scan and go counter, where you shop and scan the item from your mobile using their App and at the scan n go billing counter just scan one barcode which is such a faster way to shop. They have buy 10 items n get 11th item free, which very cool way to attract customers

Hands down the best place to shop. Wide variety of products. The staff are very family oriented. Thank you for understanding our dilemma.

On a Saturday visit to the pharmacy for flu and COVID-19 booster vaccination, there were three techs and the head pharmacist on-site. My appointment was quick after some paperwork. Got in and out within 15 mins in the afternoon. It's clean and tidy. Will be going back.

Well stocked up and kept very clean. Good parking space as well. Since their upgrade and renovation, this Meijer outlet has been very good. The aisles are spacious and very comfortable for shoppers to walk. Also their fresh produce and fruit options are very commendable! 😎👍

Woman in the bakery was very nice and helpful. She helped me pick a cake for my grandsons 4th birthday and it was freshly made.

This is not a good place to take 10 minutes to run in for a quick purchase unless you know just what you want and where in the store it is located. In that case the parking spots reserved to do that will be handy.
I use the Meijers on 16 and Van Dyke. This Meijers appeared to be twice as large. I had no idea where anything was. It needs a safari to be thoroughly explored.

This is my home Meijer. I have visited several Meijer stores in Michigan and this is by far my favorite. Not because it's right down the road from my home, but because of the layout of the store. Everything is where you can visibly see it and items are easy to find. The store is clean, and the staff are friendly.

Friendly staff. Love they have pickup so we can order online. Love how there’s a Culver’s in the same parking lot too! 😋

Great hot food counter. I love their chicken tenders. Frozen pizza is great. It is a whole pizza but I already ate two slices.

I visited Thursday store was neatly maintained and I found things which i was looking for. The staff was helpful when checking out , I don’t remember his name but he was working near to the lottery machine where you could scan 12 items or less. Always look for deals.

The workers are very helpful. Prices decent. Self serve checkout moves quickly.

I wish the rest of the Meijer stores would offer as much Organic fruits and vegetables as this store. Very nice store indeed.

Store was quite crowded but still easy to navigate. A couple of sales items were out of stock but that's to be expected. I used the self-checkout and all went quick and smoothly. Lady working on the self checkout was super nice to everyone, as was the greeter.

A great selection of just about everything. Groceries, clothing, shoes, and sporting goods for the entire family; toys, housewares, seasonal & garden, electronics & photo dept, health and beauty, hardware, plumbing, automotive, etc. Full pharmacy. STARBUCKS is no longer here.
Also a comprehensive bakery and deli, including prepared foods. (Try the ready-to-eat chicken tenders and boneless wings!) Bulk foods were discontinued a couple of years ago.

Competitive daily prices on groceries & other merchandise. Great sale prices. Sales are for everyone, not just those with a membership card. Members can use virtual coupons & earn additional savings. Most sales that are a certain price for a specific quantity require you to purchase the full quantity (like 4/$10) to get the sale price. Lesser quantities are full price. (New policy since covid.)

Many more self-service checkouts available, including several with no item limit and full-size conveyors. Also some quick checkouts with a limit of 5 items.
As of 11/13/2023, nothing significant has changed since the remodel. A couple of small businesses in the front have changed.

Clean, well light, well maintained handicap scooters and restrooms clean

I love Meijer stores! They have everything you could possibly want! Most impressive recycle center I've seen. SUPER SUPER CLEAN!!! Nice job guys. Your area should be the staple recycle center for all Meijers. 🤘♻

A few weeks back, I did the unthinkable after self checkout I actually forgot my wallet at the checkout stand, Lexi the young woman who found it was able to contact me on messenger so I was able to get it back a bad situation with a good ending
