US Auto Supply of Sterling Heights

I've rebuilt several cars so I'm well acquainted with salvage yards. US auto is my go to. A very well laid out yard, everything is organized by make and in numbered rows. The website allows you to look up the vehicle your searching for and you get a photo and exact row location from your phone. If the vehicle you need isn't available you can have the site send you a text as soon as one shows up. Everything is "you pull" which I rather prefer, it allows you to see exactly how the part is attached and gives you the knowledge how to assemble it on your vehicle. If there is more than one vehicle of your choice you can also cherry pick the best condition parts. Prices are surprisingly inexpensive. There's a price list on the website. You'll need to bring your own tools and if you find you have more parts than you can carry they have plenty of wheelbarrows available. Although I've never bought any, they also have a large selection of used tires. If you dont mind getting your hands dirty you you can't go wrong here.

The best self-serve yard in Michigan, possibly the entire Midwest. They have the best inventory around with plenty of classic, late model, and even newer cars. Their prices are very reasonable as well. The inventory is turned often so nothing sits out longer than it has to. I would recommend this yard to anyone in need of parts at a great price!

Great selection of parts. One of the cleanist yards around. Alot of good tires and a misc parts or tool section on the inside. They rotate their inventory alot. Bought alit of parts for my vans plus a 10ft aluminum ramp. Alot if commercial trucks to and i saw some motorcycle parts.

This is the best place to go for good used parts every is very nicely organized and the yard is very clean. Everything is very reasonably priced here as well. My favorite part about this place is that you can go get your own parts and walk around the lot and look at everything they have. And most of the cars still have very good sets of tires every time I need a new set this is where I go the tires are very reasonably priced. You can’t go wrong with this place if you’re looking for a good place to get used parts this is the place to go 10 out of 10. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for good used parts just look up what car you need parts from on their website and it will tell you what row that car is in what day it went in the yard and it will have a picture of that car there as well so you can see what parts are still good.

Slightly more expensive than most yards but they get good stuff

U-Pull junk yard. Pretty organized, lots of turnover. Reasonable prices. Black Friday 60 for 60 is fantastic.

These guys deserve MORE customers. When I didn't know about the place, I lost $$$. Staff are cool people. Prices are good and similar to other locations. Safe area. Better cars. Better parts than Detroit's cause people spend more on their cars here I thought about this. My tires are almost new but I searched! Detroit tires were TRASH. I used like 4 used batteries and all lasted a long time in all my 4 cars. I regret going to walmart for one of em.

I would go here again and again. I called to ask about some knobs that I have been missing on my van since I bought it. The guy I spoke to on the phone was exceptionally nice and knew exactly what I needed. He told me an average price and I told him I was heading their way. When I got there I went up to a man that was at the register and he was literally just as nice to me and super informative (I definitely hadn't been to a pull apart before). He told me exactly where to go and what to look for. I went and got the knobs and came back to pay for them. I asked the register guy how much I owed and the guy I spoke to on the phone even jumped in and asked if I found everything ok. They let me have the knobs free of charge. Stuff like this just doesn't happen anymore. If they only knew how much of a terrible day I was having. They truly turned it around for me. Thank you so much for everything and I wish I knew their names. I will be back!!! My Nissan Quest needs all the help it can get. Lol i will definitely be recommending this place for a long time!

I have an older F150 that I love and am trying to keep looking and driving like a newer vehicle. I have other vehicles as well that I maintain. I have been coming here since it was Warhoops. I love the fact that I can enter their yard and search vehicles for the parts I need. Smaller parts like knobs, electrical connectors, push pins etc. they have just given me! Rubber door moulding that I would pay $100 at a dealer was $5 - $10 here. My only complaint (and this is not U S Auto’s fault) is their 20 year old F150’s have been a little picked over. A few years ago when I mentioned to them that I was frustrated that their F150 aluminum rims were essentially non-existent, they gave me the name of a website they use which lists parts available at many salvage yards. I was then able to find what I wanted at one of their competitors! Not all places would do this. (I later learned that there are people who go to salvage yards and remove some of the desirable parts such as wheels, seats, consoles etc. to clean up and sell online so these can sometimes be hard to find.) The staff has always been pleasant and helpful! I’ll keep coming back as needed - they are my go to parts place.

Always pretty clean here. No broken glass, inventory is fresh, the text alerts are accurate. Nice lean yard even in the rain.

I went here (early December) & guess what guys? Yup, hasn't changed! ❤

I've brought 2 vehicles to scrap. A 96 lesabre. I bought it for about 400. Used it for a year. And scrapped it here for almost as much as I paid for it.
I called around to scrap an 02 silverado and everyone offered under 400$. These guys gave me $500. They really do pay better then all these other places. The trick is to get the car there without a to, have aluminum rims and have a cat. Con. On it

Awesome place. They're very organized and if you've visited before, they obviously care for the look of the place from the recent renovation that they've had. If I could rate 4 and a half I would, just because the prices may be a bit off for a few items. I got a throttle cable for 15 dollars and gm sells theirs for the same price. You could justify it with having the part immediately though. Regardless, I always enjoy coming here

Hours suck , weekends you should be open until AT LEAST 7. Other than that love the quality of the vehicles prices and staff. Overall MUCH better than Turdsgalore (partsgalore)
