Judy Jones Pottery

Had an awesome experience!! Judy was very sweet!! Love her vases that she created!! My mama bought the only 3 she had in the shop. I couldn’t wait to get home to make my very own arrangements!!

I loved browsing through this shop and talking with Judy. After visiting three other pottery places, I came to terms with not buying pottery during our trip to Tennessee. I searched pottery near me and found that Judy Jones Pottery was on my way back to our rented cabin. So happy that I stopped. Picked out a beautiful serving platter and a berry set. The shop is small but organized and has beautiful peices.

We found this artisan pottery treasure about 18 years ago, and make several special trips a year just to purchase more pieces of Judy's work. I use a JJ mug at the college where I teach, and am often am stopped in the hall by those inquiring where I found my beautiful mug. Only in the Gatlinburg Arts and Crafts area, and only at Judy Jones Pottery!

Have been visiting Gatlinburg for decades and stopped in her shop years, ago. My home is already speckled with artwork from the smokies so this time I snagged a great piece for my daughter. It has a Japanese style print and caught my eye right away. She made it right after college and had not dated it because didn't think it would sell. She had originally given it to her mother. Which explains why it stood out amongst her other gorgeous pieces. I read one post wondering if her pieces were too pricey? Appreciate the art and reward the artist is what I always say.

We happened in on a Sunday afternoon.
We got to speak to Judy about her work, her dogs, her sister....
She makes a beautiful and wonderfully functional apple baker from pottery.
There is also some stained glass there.
Wonderful little shop!

Judy Jones has been my favorite potter for years. We stop and collect a piece or two or three. Can’t wait to see her again and add to our collection. ❤

Judy has an amazing talent and captures the essence of the Smokies in her pottery designs. I buy at least 1 piece from her every year at the Gatlinburg Craftsmen's Fair in October. Judy is a good person who remembers her customers and we love to see her each year!

Judy is an extremely talented artist, the quality of her pottery is exceptional not to mention she is as sweet as can be!!! I highly recommend you visit her studio if you are in the area.
