A great place to stop and shop! They have great quality made knives and will service them if needed later. They also offer classes where you can make your own blade.

Absolutely love my damascus slicer by Austin. They shipped to my house as u was on vacation and customer service was 10/10. It was a bit of an impulse buy, but i would not hesitate to purchase a blade here again.

We had so much fun making knives! Kiddos and adults! Very knowledgeable and taught us about each step in the process. Comparing our experiences with others, Viking allowed us to do more (shaping, grinding, water/oil treating etc). Highly recommended! Veteran owned as well!

My husband loved his experience making a railroad spike knife and is extremely pleased (and proud) of his work. He enjoyed talking to Brandon and I passed the time chatting with Kallie as she polished handles. Thank you so much!

Great customer service. Great deals on any kind of blades you may think of. the craftsmanship is awesome. They offer forging classes and custom makes. We have been there more than once... definitely recommended to other people.

All amazing.

I did a railroad spike knife class and had a great time. After explaining the style of knife I wanted to make we laid out a plan on what to do and after following directions the end results were great. The best part is that I made it! The class took ~1 hour but was scheduled for 1.5 but could take longer if you encounter any issues or mistakes. I would love to have been able to do the full knife class but wasn't in town long enough to do that.

I had an absolute blast! I did the Viking Knife class with Noah showing me everything. He's a great instructor and was super friendly. I highly recommend doing a class here and meeting everyone, swell bunch of guys!

Had the greatest time with my new brother from another mother. Haha. We talked dang near half the day away like old friend's. I can recommend him and his staff highly enough. I don't give a lot of reviews, but if i could give 10 stars, it wouldn't be enough. They will take their time with you, and walk you through every step. To top all that off, he has a heart for VETS, as he is one himself. God has a plan for him and his ministry. He is a true patriot, and I hope to remain friends and keep in touch for years to come, and just maybe get a chance to help him grow his PTSD outreach. I never did earn a thee right to say "Semper Fi," so out of the deepest respect for His Brotherhood and all that serve(served), I will simply say: "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends."

I stopped in there today and was shown all of the various knives in the store. The owner was very knowledgeable and answered any questions I had. They had some beautiful copper damascus knives that I could not stop looking at. This place is as legit as they come when you want something that’s locally made. I purchased a knife and couldn’t be happier. Next time I come to Gatlinburg I’ll definitely stop by again and probably try and do one of the knife making lessons that they offer.

Great group of folks making great custom blades. Vet owned and local Smokies craftsmen! Give them a look before shopping the tourist traps on the Parkway. Picked up a beautiful Damascus blade there and couldn't be happier!

Edit to add: I've since bought a few more knives from them and all are perfect. I'm amassing quite a collection and plan to have some custom chefs knives made in the near future. Check them out if you're in the market for some one of a kind custom made knives!

So I made it in to make my custom chefs knives. I did the handling class and was able to choose the materials and design the layout the way I wanted. I was able to do the whole process from block to finished handles in a day and they turned out fantastic. This is a must stop for me anytime I'm in Gatlinburg. Mike, Autumn and crew are all great and worked with me every step of the way to make sure my finished product looked the best it could. Absolutely recommend every time!

Me and my father-in-law dropped by with our wives to check the place out and we both instantly fell in love with the shop, the people, and the whole atmosphere! We took the one day knife making course provided by Mike, Autumn, and Brandon. We chose to make two railroad spike knives! Pops did a Bowie style while I made a straight back blade! It was completely hands on besides heat treatment and edging. However the longer classes provide even more opportunity to learn the craft! They are veteran owned and operated and everyone there has a great personality. I absolutely cannot wait to come back to Tennessee to make more knives! I'm from New Mexico and it was worth every single mile!

The owners are fun to talk with. They are very knowledgeable about their products. Which are some fantastic Damascus steel. I enjoyed taking there handling class. They have intrigued me enough to start my own knife making hobby.

We had a fantastic experience at Viking Blade Supply. We happened upon it during our visit to Gatlinburg for vacation. Our son is interested in learning how to make knives and we were able to schedule him a class with the owner making his own knife. It was a one of a kind experience and was completely hands on. He was so happy with the whole thing he still talks about it and tells everyone. He asked for a forge and everything he could need to start learning the trade for Christmas. We hope to visit again some day and show them his creations. We can't recommend them enough.

Walking up to a table, at strawberry days has started the introduction to the best quality of knives I have seen. I Initially only stopped to browse. Instead I ended up buying two knives and a set of throwing knives. The craftsmanship and detail that goes into every knife/blade/axe/sword can not be seen through photos ( photos just do not do them justice). They are truly beautifully handcrafted. Adding to the bonus, is meeting the owners and watching the live clips if follow on FB. They are welcoming and entertaining :) I will definitely be purchasing more items again!

Very helpful very informative shop. Definitely a hidden gem near Gatlinburg. Got a nice Damascus blade from them the whole crew was great to deal with and talk with. Will be back next time on vacation for my next blade.

Never been in the store, my only interaction with the employees has been through social media. They are pleasant and pretty responsive. Delivery has always been prompt and tracking was always provided. The craftsmanship is superb! Great knives👍
