Great place for a family! This is a great place for families with children. We loved it! Lots to do and the people that work here are great! Can’t say how happy I am with this place and being a great place for my family to enjoy. I highly recommend this place to anyone with kids. They are very accommodating to adults also. I hope we get to come back and I hope this place keeps up the good work.

Overall such a fun stay! The best part was definitely Tina at the front desk. She went absolutely above and beyond for my family and our stay. She is definitely a gem and such a hard working, amazing woman. So glad we got to meet her. The rooms were very large and the waterpark was amazing. 10/10 experience. Can't wait to go back!

My friend and I had a girls getaway. Courtney at the front desk set us up in the best room we could've asked for on our budget. Amazing girl, BTW. The park was awesome. Missed our on the opening of the roof top, but that will be for next time. The morning staff at the grill was a delightful experience. I'm glad to see the lifeguards to be very helpful and fun. Will return again with family to explore more.

We had a wonderful time. I am very appreciative of the young lady at the Starbucks who took the time to show me the gluten free menu. All of the staff at the resort was very friendly, lifeguards very attentive and alert. The new lazy river is wonderful., the music was very cool! Clean, comfy rooms. Quick room service. Overall very pleased will be back!

Nice rooms. We got poolside at The River Lodge. It had porch with a good view. We had a small kitchenette type setup. But no dishes. Our friends across the hall had the fuller kitchen and it had dishes but no porch. Our bathroom was tight. Like so small you can shut it open the door if you are on the toilet. For the price it was excellent because we were here for amenities we were here to play at the water park.

We stayed here for the second time on 01/13/2024 and had wonderful time. Rooms were clean and beds were comfy. I loved everything about this place but I do want to point out the new lazy river does need some improvements. I believe it could use some slowing down on the part where you are to enter and exit the ride due to the water is very fast and almost can push you if you’re not a bigger person. We noticed there wasn’t much of a light show either as advertised. Overall we enjoyed our stay and all the staff were nice and lifeguards were very observant. We also loved getting frozen yogurt and the Firefly restaurant. Drinks at the restaurant were delicious. We’re very much looking forward to coming back in a few months!

This place is amazing, awesome. Will definitely go back. The indoor water park is fantastic, especially the waterfall in the hot tub. Didn't want to leave. Highly recommended.

It was great. The rooms were clean and nice when we came in, and it has one of the best indoor waterparks I've ever been in. I enjoyed my stay. I would like to note that some room's windows weren't really windows because they had a curtain or cover of some sort on the outside, so only sunlight was let in, and you couldn't look out.

As a first time patron, with a 16yr old special needs, a 10yr old boy and a small girl, I couldn't be happier with the professional, attentive life guards and hotel staff. The resort was top notch in every aspect of cleanliness and overall experience. Would be excited to return in the future!

We stayed here for the first time and had a blast. We went mid week and there where no lines for any of the slides. We had lots of fun doing the boogie boarding on the surf machine and enjoyed lounging in the hot tub and basketball in the pool.
We got the kids (5 & 7) the adventure stay pass. They had fun doing the ropes coarse climbing in the arcade. And my son did the climbing wall. The rest of the others things were not very impressive. We won't be paying to get the pass again.
The room was nice with a full kitchen. Service was not quite as expected. Any time we called to get more of something (Towels, dishwasher detergent, sheets/blankets) it would take a very long time and what they brought would not even be correct. We had to call back one or two more times for them to actually get it right. It was kind of bizarre how it kept happening every single time we needed something.
Overall we had a great time and would recommend this place to friends. We will probably go back at some point in the future.

This was probably one of the best vacations I’ve ever had the hotel was beautiful along with the other three every single day we would take a shuttle bus and go over to the big hotel with the waterslide and the arcade. Even in that building they had little shops, which were very convenient for when I got bored, this place is crazy kid friendly and they love everybody who comes in. I didn’t meet one rude person. There is a beautiful light show that they have. If you want to talk about the rooms they were very nice they would see and if you had a lot of people, you could buy a room to go beside it, which is very nice And this place was awesome. I loved it so much totally recommended and I have to drive eight hours and it was totally worth it.

We stayed in the Wyndham time share condos, and loved it! We had space and were able to cook, do laundry, take a nice bath, and all around enjoyed our time. There was construction going on during our stay, which was a bummer, but I'm hopeful it will be worth it when finished. The surrounding areas are pretty touristy and it would be nice to have more parks or things near or around. We will be back and excited to see the new changes.

We had such a great time it was amazing so much fun. The people were super friendly. The life vest for my 3 year old is the only negative it rubbed her so raw but other than that is was fantastic

Second time here. My favorite staycation. Kids love the water park. Had an issue with the tub that took an hour for someone to come fix but the hotel made it right and gave the kids some extra fun in the arcade for the inconvenience. Would definitely stay again.

Very nice and clean facility. Great for families! The water park area was fun. Once the outdoor pool area is finished, it will be a 10/10! The location is plenty far north for us, we like to hike and had to drive 45min or more to get to the Smoky Mountains and hiking.

Only there one night, but wishing it was more. Kids had a great time, food was excellent, we all enjoyed the arcade with the newest games and customer service from all areas of the Wilderness was second to none. We all are looking forward to our next trip for a long weekend.

Perfectly located just minutes away from any store you'll possibly need and for any purpose, Wilderness at the Smokies is an absolutely beautiful location where you can bring your entire family to have a great time, or to just kick back and enjoy the scenic views all around.

There is a huge arcade with reasonably priced games and activities like the rock climbing wall, Lazer tag, mini golf and bowling, etc. There's also a massive Indoor water park, restaurants and season-themed events.. there is SO much to do here.

The staff is friendly and helpful and my family felt welcomed since the moment we arrived.

If I could rate this location more than 5 stars, trust and believe that I would.

Is you are looking for an amazing waterpark with an even more amazing staff, this is the place to go! Especially the two staff members who ran the surfing portion on Saturday Dec. 30th 5pm. They were extremely friendly with the kids and made the wait much more enjoyable by splashing the kids and making them giggle. One it was your turn they were extremely encouraging and helped you step by step on how to get up on to your board and even do cool tricks on the water. They were overall amazing and clearly enjoyed their job and the kids. They also had an outside skating rink which was super fun, but needed to be resurfaced. But there is nothing we could really do about that. The rooms were clean the Starbucks in the lobby was perfect for a quick breakfast before the park. The new addition of the lazy river was for the better, but the lifeguards have to take a better attention especially by the fast jets to the left of the waterfall. My brother got swept under an occupied tube, and when I was able to get to him, he was choking on water. Ending on a high note the waterpark and the staff were amazing.

This place is massive! You’ll get your steps in for sure. And yes it’s busy year round but they keep everything moving & organized. Don’t believe the reviews that say there’s no life guards. There’s plenty of them, always checking the waters. Give yourself about 30min to get acclimated, walk around find lockers, restrooms, towels, etc. Definitely use shuttles between hotel & water park, they are efficiently run and at 10min intervals. The only thing that I couldn’t enjoy was the restaurant in the hotel & Starbucks. They were just so busy, 40min wait. I wanted to give them my money but ended up going offsite. Not a bad problem for them to have but they could’ve gained an additional $150-$200 during my stay if they could accommodate all of the foot traffic. That’s ok because Sevierville has a lot to offer for excellent restaurants. Cute diners, steakhouse, coffee, etc. We will be back for sure & bring more family with us!

This is our second trip to Wilderness and we still love it! The new expansion is really nice. Only issue is the placement of the lounge chairs facing Washout Mountain. People are blocking the way into the wave pool next to the "tree" with tables causing traffic jams. The configuration needs looked at as I've witnessed other patrons being rude to others trying to get by.
