Ole Smoky Distillery "The Holler"

Ole Smoky Distillery is always a good time. We stopped in this past week while on a girls trip. You have to participate in a tasting, it does not disappoint. The flavors of moonshine are always surprising. The combinations that they come up with are not something you'd think of, such as the lavender blueberry moonshine, which was delicious...mix it with lemonade and Wow!

We did a lot of moonshine tasting when we were in Gatlinburg and Jen by far was the best she was nice. She was knowledgeable and made the tasting a lot more fun. We were able to get the specialty flavors we were looking for and use our coupons because we did the whole moonshine trail with the old smoky locations we got our free T-shirt and the guy that helped us Was really awesome. Jeff just moved here from Las Vegas so you know who you are thank you for a great time and this is a great location. They don’t have any restrooms in the location. You have to take the elevator to go upstairs, but the experience was definitely worth it 10 out of 10 totally recommend this location and ask for Jen. Thank you Jeff!

first time here and had the absolute best time. i didn’t fully catch the bartenders name…i think Karima ?? and Felicity? Their friendliness w each-other and how they interacted with customers was so awesome. They were amazing. So kind, funny and informative. The entire staff was extremely friendly from walking in to cashing out. Def recommend, super fun & moonshine is amazing of course. Do the premium tasting! Worth it and still inexpensive.

Really enjoyed our visit and did the moonshine tasting. Our bartender was fantastic and hilarious. Bought some cherries, and lots of moonshine to bring home. We got a free cooler for buying 3 mason jars. Honestly a great deal for us who can't buy it locally. Beautiful old distillery with a live band playing.

Amazing experience! We came from Indy and wanted to try out their testing. The pricing was very affordable and easy way to get some local moonshine in your system. It was $10 for 11 tastings of moonshine. Pretty popular for a Saturday night, and would hands down recommend!

A must visit if you're in gatlinburg. $7 sampling (as of Feb 2024) for 9 communion-sized shots. The guy running the samples was fun and made the event a blast!

We got the snow cream and it was a great addition to coffee. I'd also recommend the sour watermelon.

Definitely worth doing a sampler at the in store bar. I believe it was $5 and they give you mini shots to try all different flavors. They are delicious and the staff makes it extra fun! They have great merch in store aside from the moonshine. Tee shirts, hats, bags.. all kinds of things. Decent prices too.

The tour was filled with awesome information. Terry was our guide and server and he done an outstanding job.when he served our tasters he also included ways to use the moonshine in cooking.learned slot of neat things and had a great time. Highly recommend the tour if you go to gatlinburg

Surprisingly great fun. You get a $5 coupon if you do the tasting. There is also a huge Gift shop and live music played outside in a beautifully decorated area.

If you're in Gatlinburg, TN, you need to stop in at Ole Smoky Distillery, " The Holler. " Best Shine here, in my opinion! Make sure you pay the $7.00 dollars for the moonshine tasting!

Wife & I did a distillery tour and tasting at this location when staying in the area. If you get the opportunity to do so, I highly recommend it. Terry was a great tour host; knowledgeable, friendly and had a great attitude. Yeah, it's geared to a tourist-y crowd, but still fun. And that's before the tasting LOL. We picked up a few bottles of the moonshine and some James Ownby whiskey to take home.
The Holler is a fun place to visit in Gatlinburg. Grab some moonshine and some merch while you're there!

My wife and i had a great time at ole smoky distillery. We took the behind the scenes tour, it was amazing to hear and see how they make and distribute good ole smoky moonshine. Our bartender Ashley was amazing and very knowledgeable. The hole entrance was Top Notch. Would do it all again.

they don't mess around here!!! you want a true moonshine experience like the out of towner that I am.........go here!! I had a blast and I love how they incorporate the crowds and drinks together with a blend of madness that I can only describe as awesome!!! Truly awesome!! Ole Smoky has my ole heart!!!

Great Tour! We had a fun group experience with the Redneck Bus Tour that stopped here. We all enjoyed free tasting and coupons. Great spirits and views of the distillery in action! Awesome

Nice place, we visited a few days before Halloween . Good atmosphere. Everything was decorated . There were musicians, who played guitar and violin. Bought some moonshine from the store. Over there, they prepared it

We had the BEST time! Brooklyn was AMAZING! She made the entire experience perfect! We look forward to coming back again soon!

Absolutely phenomenal experience! Our bartender/tour guide was Brooklyn, but we also hung out with Jessie and one of the cashiers! Brooklyn NEEDS a roadshow or a TikTok channel; she is just so entertaining and fun. Jessie could have an online show too. His jokes are the best-worst-most-hilarious jokes ever! They all shared so much history and local insight. Everyone there was just having fun, and you can tell they enjoy what they do and enjoy their customers! I HIGHLY recommend. This is a can't miss atmosphere. I pray these people are continually blessed. I pray that they always get customers worthy of the amazing experience they produce.

Highly recommend the VIP tour! We did it for a bachelor party and had a great time. Terry was awesome and so knowledgeable. We learned a lot and got to try so many different flavors of moonshine. We had so much fun that we forgot to take pictures lol!

Great tour! Our tour guide, Brooklyn (sp?) was the star of the show. She knew exactly what she was talking about and she was funny as can be too! She made the experience one my husband and I will NEVER forget. Oh, and you get to try 13 flavors of Moonshine, included in the price and a free tee-shirt on top of it.
If you’re thinking about it, DO IT. You will not regret it!
