The Next Chapter Bookshop

Visiting this store was one of the highlights of our trip! It is truly delightful! I especially enjoyed sitting in the comfy chair looking through the choices of children's books to make my selection. The owner was a joy to chat with and so welcoming. I would highly recommend visiting. Great atmosphere and great selection of high quality books.

The loveliest bookstore in the best neighborhood with such wonderful owners. What a treat for us! Outstanding selection, and many options for kids. We love the fireplace and reading nook. We’ll be back again and again.

Lovely bookstore. Great selection of books and gifts. I enjoy finding local bookstores while on vacation and was super happy to find this one. I purchased 2 books, a journal, and a hand painted bookmark. Booklovers need to check them out.

A place where you immediately feel welcome and cared about with genuine interest. This lifelong reader obsessed over the quiet and calm location, while revering the hand-chosen collection of books from which to choose.!There is something for every reader in this store, whether it be their next best read, a bookish sticker, or a bullet journal. I am obsessed; I wish I could pick this store up and take it home with me because from the minute we walked in, Steve chatted with us about my love for Poe and what books former customers are reading. Kindness and intelligence abounds.

So glad we left downtown Gatlinburg and came out here! Did not know about the arts and crafts area on Glades Road, and came across this gem of a bookstore which recently opened. We always like to find a local bookstore on each trip, and our kids said this was one of their favorite parts of the entire trip. 😁 Great selection of classics and new releases, as well as hardback and paperback options. Incredibly helpful team, and of course Pepper the dog! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Need a rainy day activity? Grab a book here and head to the restaurant/cafe next door.

hi! i deleted my review from earlier because that was a bit of an aggressive review on my part and i felt guilty, but i love your shop! the shop is lovely and has books for all ages and all different sorts of genres and i really did love it! today is my last day in pigeon forge, so i can’t come back, but i won’t forget your shop and thank you for apologizing! :)

I planned to visit this little shop while on vacation for a MONTH. I was so excited when the day finally came! It was everything I thought it would be and more. They have an artist who hand paints bookmarks (lady in the middle). The owner (the lady on the left) was the sweetest lady. Definitely a great experience

One of my favorite bookstores yet due to their wonderful selection. When you walk in, it looks like they don’t have much but what they DO have is so perfectly readable I ended buying far more than I normally do in indie bookstores.

My wife and I stopped into this bookstore earlier today, and I must say that it’s one of the most charming shops in the area (also somehow the only bookstore). The owners were very helpful, and were even kind enough to allow us to use their own WiFi network to cross reference their selection with our To Be Read lists. Definitely not the only time we’ll visit, and we’ll try to bring the rest of the family next time!

My husband and I stopped in here on our family vacation and loved every minute we stayed in the little shop! We were greeted by the cutest, fluffiest greeter I've ever seen in the form of Pepper the dog. The shop may be small, but we spent so much time browsing the shelves and chatting with the owners who were so friendly and kind to us out-of-towners. I'm so glad we were able to find this shop as a cozy respite away from our packed travel schedule.

Great bookstore, great people. We visited on 6/22/22. Thankful we ventured out and found this super cute bookstore! Highly recommend going here. Very bright, clean place. The kids area is adorable and they have a good selection for kids and adults. Spoke to the owner she was so nice to us, we talked about books in general and she talked with my daughter about the books she had picked out. I wish I would have gotten her name. I was really happy to support this independently owned bookstore!

What an amazing little bookstore right outside the main downtown area of Gatlinburg! They have a NICE selection and an even nicer owner! I stopped by on vacation and picked up a few books, and I’m so glad I did! ☺ If you’re a reader and your in town, support this awesome local bookshop!

I visited this great bookstore today and highly recommend. I thoroughly enjoyed discussing books with the owners and am 100 pages into The Eighth Life recommended and love it!. I felt like I made new friends in such a welcoming atmosphere. It's located in a really beautiful and quiet area of Gatlinburg which was very relaxing. I will definitely be back when in the area again.

Super cute and quaint locally owned bookstore! We enjoyed chatting with the lovely gentleman that owns the store. The local treat with our purchases was thoughtful touch!

Absolutely loved this bookstore. We were in town for the week and breezed through my vacation read and was so happy to find this cute little shop just a quick drive from downtown gatlinburg! The owner was really knowledgeable, the shop had everything from classic reads to new bestsellers and even better the store has an open concept that was super easy to navigate a multitude of genres. Definitely glad we found this hidden gem!

The best bookshop I have ever been in. Everything from classics to new releases! The owners are super knowledgeable and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and wished we lived closer to experience this place more often. A small bookstore that isnt overwhelming, which is great! Will definitely be coming again when we can!

We happened on this bookstore while browsing the shops on Glades Road. What a delightful surprise! The shop was bright, attractive, and stocked a wonderful variety of books for such a small shop! We were delighted with the fiction and nonfiction choices and came away with several titles. The owner was a pleasure to deal with as well.
