Firewater Liquor

This is a newer store. It has a very nice "feel" to it. It is sort of "cozy" if that makes sense. The selection is quite good which for a new store is somewhat of a surprise. I enjoy Bourbon and they have most of the regular brands and quite a few of the better slightly harder to find brands as well. If they can hang on long term I can see them becoming established with the wholesalers and being able to pull some of the better small brands like Black Saddle etc. I am gonna keep an eye on these guys. So far, I really like what I see. Prices are in line. High on some things lower on others...but mostly right in the ballpark. Not a bargin place but a nice place at a reasonable price.

Came in with my husband a few weeks ago and we were so impressed! The store is all handmade by the owner and is absolutely stunning. He is extremely friendly, took the time to speak with us and explain his unique design and of course liquor options as well as a taste test. A whole variety of great stuff to offer!!

Unique, high-end liquor experience but without high end prices. I expected the cool decor to translate into higher costs, but the prices I paid were no higher than what I paid elsewhere. I met the owner.... Knowlegeable, professional and nice.

Will definitely be returning!

Very cool place. Has an old vintage library vibe. They have all the sections you need. It is a small place but they have all the most popular liquors plus cool little shot bottles that would make great gifts. The young cashier guy that helped me out was very sweet and helped me find everything I needed as well as explained everything very well. I wouldn’t doubt if he was the owner with how knowledgeable he was. Great place!

Great shop! Well-stocked and friendly employees! Beautiful wood shelving and chandeliers. Just opened 4 weeks ago so they're still working on labeling and such.

Truly one of a kind! Beautiful handcrafted and stained shelving with chandeliers and a piano playing in the background make for a great experience shopping. With the rolling ladders and shelves of small bottles behind the counter it feels like a bit like an old fashioned soda shop or apothecary! The staff were knowledgeable and helpful and a great selection with several beers and liquors I hadn't seen before.

Love this place! Good selection and wonderful atmosphere. Staff is courteous and helpful. The aroma and piano are a wonderful touch. Definitely a one of a kind spirits store.

One of the best beer collections I have seen in a while, the store interiors is impressive (very classical and rustic vibes) loved the place.. the beer mix and match is a good thing to try.. for a change..

Will be visiting soon..I like to support local businesses rather than big stores..

The guy who owns it is a bit of a liquor nerd, and he built all of the woodwork throughout the entire store. I love going here sometimes for the experience and if the owner is working, then I always ask him for a suggestion, and it never fails that it is a hit.

This place is great. I mean if you need to go to the Liquor store why not have a great time with a touch of class. The wood and lights and the piano upstairs playing classical music. Similar pricing to specs. I drive across town just to go to this place.

Amazing new place for interesting and different selection of alcohol. Not your run of the mill metal shelved store. It smells like wood due to the beautiful wooden shelves. A great selection with helpful and kind staff. They also have a cool grand player piano upstairs which makes it have an upscale feel. Enjoy!

My husband and I stopped by there today for the first time. The place is absolutely beautiful and the craftsmanship is amazing! We met the owner who was very pleasant along with his employee Bray. They took the time to guide us to the items we were looking for and very welcoming. Overall, i would give this place 10 stars- if I could.
This is definitely our new go to spot.

So happy Firewater is here! They exceeded my expectations. I like the layout, it’s classy. Usually, you go into a liquor store and it is ok, the inventory is questionable and often the lighting is so bright, it blinds you. Well at Firewater they have subdued lighting, wood floors/shelves and up the stairs in the bourbon area, there is a piano. The gentleman offered to put the one bottle I had at the counter while I browsed. Then he brought me a sample. They are still getting inventory but they still have a lot of great choices. They were so friendly and polite, I can’t wait to go back😄🥃

I love this place for many reasons. It’s very close to my house, they offer a great selection and the inside is very well organized & appealing. Anytime you walk in, you’re greeted kindly and made to feel welcomed. Kollin always has a smile on his face and is very sweet. Will return and have been.. often. Lol.

The atmosphere of the store is an experience by itself. The woodwork, the piano playing music, the chandeliers… everything is fantastic. Everything was easy to find, and the man working was extremely helpful and helped us pick out what we needed. I don’t know why I would ever need to go to another store.

This is without question the classiest liquor store I have ever stepped in. My husband told me about how great this place was and how kind the owner Kollin was. He was not exaggerating. This place is beautiful! It’s like a historic library with a touch of modern industrial elements. The lighting brings it all together with the elegant chandeliers. The piano plays charming tones that relax you as you browse through the unbelievable inventory. Kollin greets guests as if they were members of the family and is incredibly knowledgeable and educated me on my tequila options until I found what I was looking for. My husband tells me his bourbon stock is quite impressive and he has very fair pricing. We bought 6 or 7 total bottles. We drove 45 minutes to his store from where we live and passed countless big liquor stores to get there. Worth it. Thanks for moving to the metroplex Firewater!

Love the look and feel of the store! Store clerk was super kind and helpful. Glad to see a liquor store that doesn’t use a point system to get harder to find bottles. While I was there he had several harder to find bourbons such as Weller and doesn’t charge much over MSRP. I hope they stick around for a long time to come!

Stopped in this past weekend and was incredibly impressed with the atmosphere and shopping experience in store. Firewater offers a more personal and sophisticated shop as compared to some of the larger chains in the area. Kollin was very welcoming, and distinguished himself as an owner happy to chat and take the time to find what you’re looking for. Easily my go to spot in the future!

I never leave reviews, but I was so impressed that I haven’t been able to stop telling everyone about this place so I figured I better leave one. It smells so good and is gorgeous in this store! I never wanted to leave. The person who helped me was incredible. I would go back again and again!

Exceptional service! The man at the counter knew exactly what I was looking for and helped me out with recommendations even though the specific vodka I wanted was out of stock. I appreciate the help and sense of urgency from him and the safety in terms of checking ID thoroughly. If I need more alcohol, I'll return to this shop.
