I love this store! I needed help with matching fabric, but before I even had a chance to ask for help, she was there asking me if I needed help. Excellent customer service and knowledge!

Shop is in an old Post Office, hardware store,and many other businesses. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The bathroom floor was done with old yard sticks. So cute

Saw Gretchen at the Gems of the Prairie Quilters Show this weekend in Peoria IL. Never knew how HUGE the Rochester store is, can't wait to check it out!

My wife always finds something here be it great fabric or quilting and sewing gadgets. The owners are friendly, lovely, helpful women. This store, Dollars and Cents, and Cocoa Blue are a perfect trifecta for a morning or afternoon shopping and refreshment.

Awesome fabric choices including more masculine prints that I usually see. Friendly staff. Be sure to check out the restroom floor!

Great selection of high quality fabric with new products arriving often. Well organized shop that is easy to navigate. If you can dream it, they probsbly have a fabric for you. Interesting old building with many rooms full of treasures. Staff is friendly and always happy to greet you when you visit.

Helpful, friendly staff, large selection of quality quilt fabrics, and notions. They have a few classes, and had "Show and Tell" the day I was there. I would have loved to stay and see it.
Found a friend/former coworker from another store there, and had a real quick chat.
I'll be back to look around, and get more fabric to back my quilt tops! Plus more crochet thread colors to quilt them with!

True "diamond gem" quilt shop! Awesome selection arranged throughout 4 rooms in a vintage building. Very friendly, helpful, and accommodating to your quilting needs (wants)! 3 friends and I spent quite a bit of time shopping and value our treasures as well as the shopping experience and the wonderful owner (as well as her father)!
Definitely will drive the 3.5 hours to visit again soon!

Prepare to stay a while. LOTS to look at! Staff is very helpful. Vast number of fabrics--all styles--to drool over. DON'T miss it. It's my happy place!

I visited the shop on Saturday, April 7,2018. Gretchen and her staff spent nearly 2 hours with me helping me with a fabric selection for a baby quilt. They were so patient and very helpful, made me feel like I was the only customer there, however, the store was hopping! Thank you for all your help, you truly are the BEST!

I visited this shop several weeks ago. I am from Mississippi and was visiting my daughter in Illinois. I am a beginning quilter and I was overwhelmed with all of the options. Gale was so helpful in assisting me. She helped me choose fabric and designs that would match my current abilities. She helped me with projects that would not overwhelm me.! They have the largest selection of high quality fabrics in the Springfield area. The building looks small but it is 4 rooms deep, all organized and tended to by knowledgeable sewists. Many times I have been in there when someone from out of town always shopping. They also have classes on several subjects going at one time.

Love to shop here. It's fun to visit even when I dont need anything, but I usually
find something I "need".

Great selection of fabrics in four rooms. Tall cwilings with lots of samples. Friendly service. Deserves to be in Quilt Sampler magazine! You won't regret going out of your way to stop here.

One of my favorite quilt stores. Large selection of everything. Their batik selection is wonderful. And the Kaffe choices are impressive.

Great shop...lots and lots and lots of fabrics. Very good sales. 4 hours from home but if ever in area again...a must to stop in.
