While in Roanoke for my father in laws memorial service, my husband realized he had forgotten a button down shirt for his suit. He ended up at Davidsons looking to buy something quickly. The store was not even open yet but Mr. Davidson opened up for my husband and my son (who didn’t have a belt) to purchase what they needed. He took care and time with them both at a difficult time and eased their stress level. After they left, Mr. Davidson then realized my husband needed collar stays and personally drove to the funeral home to hand deliver them. Not only were the items purchased fantastic quality, the customer service was beyond impeccable. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Kudos to an owner who realizes the importance of his customers.
We already have plans to return for more fine clothing and to say thank you to Mr. Davidson from our family.

Davidsons is a wonderful department store my late mother-in-love Wanda W. had been shopping there for many years for her son Devin. The customer service experience that We’ve had the few times I’ve shopped at this location/ prev Tanglewood location with my husband has been outstanding. However; recently my mother-in-love Wanda passed away I wanted to get my husband a gift for Father’s Day for him from his mom because if she was still here that’s what she would do it and she’d come to Davidsons. I would like to thank Mr. Larry Davidson and the other associates, for being so kind and helping me pick a gift to surprise my husband Devin with as this has been an extremely difficult time for us. I greatly appreciate everything also the wrapping on the gift is beautiful. I know this is something you guys do all the time but right now it means more than it ever has ❤

What a fantastic store! It's like stepping back in time where men dress distinguished and customer service is important. Yet, all the clothes in this store are modern cuts and divinely soft fabrics. My husband and I popped in because we saw a shirt we liked in the window and we had a wonderful experience with the owner who provided excellent recommendations and perfect customer service. We chose a couple shirts and pants and my husband really loves the items he purchased. This store is on the pricey side, but they really provide top notch service and the clothing is high quality.

It had been many years since I was last here but I still own some quality mens suit previously purchased at Davidsons. I was recently visiting Roanoke for a family event and needed a suit and accessories on very short notice for my daughters upcoming wedding. I found Mr. Larry Davidson and his staff to be extremely knowledgable about mens clothing and they were so friendly and helpful about every aspect of the purchase. In about a 2 hour span of time I had everything I needed and the tailoring was perfect. I had forgotten what a quality mens clothing store was like until I returned to Davidsons. Thank you Larry.

These guys were great. Owner operated place. Met Larry and Travis there right before a wedding where I had forgotten cuff links and had a stain on my shirt. They were full service, fast, and super helpful. Recommended highly.

Hard to find a shop like this any more (any where--especially Roanoke): high quality men's clothing, terrific service. If they don't have it on the floor, they will get it for you. Yep, you'll probably pay more than a JAB or MW--but it's gonna look good.
