Nice shop in Grand Central. Quick service

A quick and available stand to get your snacks and refreshments before boarding the train. They have self-checkout stations making it easy to get in and out.

OK folks there are two locations. There's the big Hudson News on the main floor behind the staircase of Apple, where the old telephone booths used to be back in the day.

The other Hudson News is where they sell lottery tickets, it's a tad bit smaller and located near track 40. The staff is most friendly especially if you have a winning scratch-off ticket.

Ridiculously busy in the epicenter of Zoo York! Three entrance of ceaseless foot traffic. Mainstream English-language newspapers and magazines. Refreshments also sold in this circular storefront. Only foreigners working there.

High volume of customers at all hours. Prices high on account of this demand and location. All variety of English-language newspapers and magazines. Some refreshments like sodas and water.

Interesting store near the middle of Grand Central Station big hall. Take a peek 😀

This place has great hours. It is a fun shop to peruse magazines and look at the new bestselling books they have on display. There are definitely fun books here. As a librarian, I appreciate the unique ones they have. The service is very prompt as they have enough hired help. It is a staple with my friend Kim and me before last night trains back to Connecticut!

Hustle, bustle and overpriced newsstands items.

Do not buy electronics from here. They charged me $200.00 for a pair of Brookstone headphones. The headphones broke after 6 months. When I tried to return them, the manager lied and said that said headphones hadn't never been sold there, despite me presenting my statement proving the contrary. I suppose I can appreciate limits to a return policy, but they cost 200.00 after all and it didn't feel great to have them lie about it.

If I could leave zero stars I definitely would. Let me explain myself. I went to the store in grand central station in New York on 4/20. I was being followed around the instant I got into the store. The workers made me feel very uncomfortable as if I was doing something wrong and I haven’t even picked anything up. Once I got to self check out the workers that was watching me the whole time came up to me and took my products as they were trying to help me like I didn’t understand how to use the self check out when I never even asked for help. She began scanning my items for me and didn’t even know if I even wanted the item or not. Another worker comes up to me and snatches the receipt from the machine. She then proceeds to tell me in a very rude tone “is that everything you paid for”. I didn’t say anything and took the receipt back from her. I proceeded to tell her “thanks for watching my every single move as soon as I came inside”. I left very upset and feeling violated. This feels like it was racially motivated because the workers was not bothering the other fair or white skinned shoppers that was in the store and at self checkout with me. IF YOU ARE BLACK DO NOT GO THIS STORE. THEY WILL HARASS YOU AS IF YOUR STEALING. THEY CLEARLY THINK IF YOU ARE BLACK YOU ARE NOT A PAYING COSTUMER AND ONLY THERE TO STEAL. I WILL NEVER SHOP AT THIS SPECIFIC STORE NOR ANY OTHER HUSDSON NEWS STORE IF THEY TREAT BLACK OR PEOPLE OF COLOR THIS WAY!!!!!!

Icky place. Limited snack selections. If you’re black you will be stared at like you did something wrong, and instantly followed around. they’ll hover over you while checking out. Felt super uncomfortable and will never support a place like this. If you’re riding the metro north just walk over to a regular cvs or Walgreens before entering grand central. Don’t shop here.

After 10:30pm, there are mice everywhere. Be careful what you buy inside here. I’ve stopped by to let people know how bad the mice infestation is inside this store since the month of August, yet the city still allows this place to remain open despite the numerous complaints via 311.

I would give it 0 stars if I could. The prices are ridiculous and the workers are rude. Also the hours of operation need to be changed. They do not open at the time it says they do. Very inconvenient and inconsiderate. If you know you won't be open at 5/5:30 just change it!!

Mouse infestation. Watch nyc_kb on tiktok they have like 50 mice all over the food in store . Get a damn cat or exterminator

OVERPRICED!!! They tried to charge me $12 just for a Vitamin Water and gummy worms! AVOID!!! Bring your own snack when riding Metro North!

The manager places the guns/ammo periodicals called “reloading” at child-level, and scientific american magazine out of everyone’s reach. They embody what is wrong about America and clearly have an agenda. Also $5 for a small bottle of water? This place is morally bankrupt.
