I've only shopped hear a few times but every time it's been a real treat. Most recently I went in to purchase a St. Louis rack for a birthday celebration. They must treat those pigs up in Vermont reeeeaaaall well because these babies knocked it out of the park. Huge, succulent, moist, flavorful ribs, maybe the best rack I've ever smoked. Will definitely be back again for my next special occasion, and I highly recommend them.

I was recommended by a neighbor to come here for raw marrow bones for my dog, and was blown away the first time I went in. Beautiful grocery items as well as knowledgeable and super friendly staff. They even asked my dog’s size to make sure the bones were cut to a safe size. Its become a weekly staple for me and the cuts of meat are leaps and bounds better quality than even Whole Foods.

I am so sad I didn't start coming here sooner! This place is adorable and all the staff have been outstandingly kind to me. They are very helpful in explaining their offerings and they also let me know they have different made to order foods (like this burger) for different days of the week. In addition to things you'd expect at a butcher's, they also carry ice cream, other snacks, and even mini laundry detergent. Would absolutely recommend, anything I've had from here has been delicious.

Excellent service, with a smile, I felt like family! We are planning to cook short ribs tomorrow and wanted to find a butcher. I'd never been to one before so this was a new experience. Picked up some Bolognese Mix as I've been wanting to try it, cool that it's already mixed together so add noodles and sauce and bam you got dinner! Thank you all for being so kind and helpful today.

The dry aged ribeye steak was phenomenal. Really hit the spot. One 1 1/2 in chunk was enough for 3 portions (with pasta), too! I'd definitely come again just for this.

They have the best products and wonderful customer service. Since the pandemic we moved to middle of nowhere in Maine so I ordered a few nice things to be delivered. I had a few questions about delivery since we've had issues with UPS in our area and the person answering the emails was very prompt and helpful. What really amazed me was that they reached out concerned that the shipment was delayed, but that was only because that day we got like a foot of snow, but I thought it was very thoughtful of them to check in and that they were keeping an eye on it. I'm so excited about that cassoulet I'm making this weekend with their wonderful products. Of course I'll order again! Tip your butchers when you order, they do a wonderful job!

A Cambridge classic. Pricey but well worth the money if you want excellent meats and/or an interesting selection of gourmet foods. I've always had great service and their butchers are knowledgable and very helpful. The dry aged meats are amazing and if you ever get a chance to buy the butter burgers you will not be disappointed!

I worked with customer service this afternoon in regards to a gift certificate that was purchased months ago but not received (error on my end). They responded quickly, promptly and informative. Very pleased with the help I received and will be purchasing from them again.

Good product and good people! Every time I go I get great advice. Cody was so good about giving me great advice for cuts of meat to bring as presents, staying within budget, and vacuum sealing everything for me. Always a good experience here.

A Cambridge institution! The butcher shop here is legendary for good reason. It is the best meat you can get in this city. The staff is very knowledgeable and happy to help you decide the best cut of meat for your culinary schemes. I go here when I want to impress my guests and it works every time.

Phenomenal butcher shop. They have great customer service and the meat is always freshly cut. The butcher counter is much more complete than the one in Boston.

Pulled up to Savenor's on the day before Christmas Eve to get lamb shanks for Christmas dinner. In typical kiddos fashion, as soon as I pulled up to the shop, both my kids were in deep sleep. Feeling stuck, I sat in the car for a long time debating on what to do. I called Savenor's and explained to Chris, the butcher, my situation and he said "I can help!" He enthusiastically took my order and payment over the phone and brought out my order cheerfully saying "Merry Christmas to you!"

Completely blown away by this butcher/grocer. This place is completely outrageous, you can get anything from Kobe Wagyu beef to camel meat and anything in between. On my 2 visits I purchased:

Kobe Wagyu Strip Steak - Fat was perfectly dispersed and it tasted delicious. At $100 a pound this checked off a bucket list item. It was damn tasty but will not be purchasing this regularly.

Kobe hot dogs - At around $10 a pack these were good but I actually prefer the old fashioned type of dog. Happy I tried these though. I would describe them as more savory than a traditional dog

Bayou Bacon - Tasty and slightly spicy, you can't go wrong with bacon!

They also have a small and eclectic grocery section as well as an area for produce. Lots of interesting and gourmet items. This is a step up from Whole Foods in terms of price and quality but well worth it.
