I have to say I’ve been coming to this particular Safeway for years, I have always loved the service and compassion the employees practice. Tonight I left my wallet in a cart, a very honest young man, one of the curtest clerks happen to grab it and give it to the manager on duty who diligently put it under lock and key. I returned and was given my wallet back the same way I left it. That is so rare these days and I am very glad they were honest and dependable as always. Thank you so very much.

The customer care representative was awesome. She went above and beyond to help me thank you Karisa. I don’t know if I spelled her name right but she wears glasses and is very sweet. Thank you!!!!!

Belle at the Starbucks is an amazing human being. She's a great listener, and an even better Barista. Thank u for the cafe and your ear.

Always clean. Employees are generally friendly. Self checkout is super user friendly. Security on-site. The produce is always fresh and one of my favorite items to pickup.

This is not about Safeway but the fireworks stand tjat is on the parking lot near the gas station on the corner of 72nd and Portland Ave. My niece is running this stand and although the generator she borrowed from my brother in law was stolen yesterday in the afternoon and she had to replace it with a new one she still has a great attitude. So why not stop by and pick up some frieworks. Thanks

For the most part ,it seems that Safeway stays consisten with their brand. That being said This store is very busy almost all the time , always clean. No matter how busy it is. operations on the front end with the cashier's is in really good shape still seem to get the customers checked out and on their way. The self-checkout is nice to have , user interface is very easy to navigate.
I believe that self-checkout has proved its worth and I really do think that the customers that have been using it for several years now I really good at it and I think that's probably why they can get people out and on their way faster.

Like this Safeway. Friendly, clean and parking is easy to get in and out.
Store shelves are kinda bare in spots, and can see where things have gone up in price. Otherwise everything else is still the same

Was very disappointed with the Deli today. Asked about their chicken, said they didn't have any and didn't know if they were or when they would cook more. After I got what they had, they decided to cook more. What I got was nasty, tough and dry. I never had such nasty chicken, before from them. Deli workers were rude also. Checked out and the person who checked us out was fantastic. So polite.
Today was good. Our cashier was polite. Shelves were somewhat full but prices are way up there. Getting were you cant afford to eat.
Today was alright. Checked ourselves out. Prices are getting so high. Went for something for dinner and walked away. Chicken would not be ready for 50 minutes.
Alot of empty shelves. And prices have gone up alot more since the last time I went. Cashier was in a bad mood. It was like she didn't want to work.
Everything was the same. Cashier was ok. She acted like she didn't want to be there. Woman in the deli was very forgetful. Had to tell her 4 times what we wanted and still forgot part of the meal. Prices are getting higher.
Nothing changes just the prices. Shame that we are going to have to decide whether to eat or not.

One Safeway might not be just the same as the other, it's still the same savings that keep me coming back. Plus they stay open later than most stores.

Clean. Fully supplied with all the fresh produce, meat, and other grocery items one would expect to find in a well-organized supermarket. From a particular consumer like myself, I'm willing to go the extra distance to get to this Safeway.

Haley helped me in the flower section. I picked my flowers and she wrapped it so beautifully. I appreciate the patience and the little details that she did to make sure my bouquet was beautiful. Great customer service.

Really great service. Love the people that work there. My favorite place to shop. Pharmacy technicians are very helpful. Wish there were more cashiers and sometimes more pharmacy technicians.

Quiet early in the morning so shopping is a breeze. Store is always nice, clean and organized and lines are never too long! Plus I saved $47 dollars this morning alone on a $92.00 grocery bill. If that's not impressive I don't know what is. Thanks safeway. Been shopping for groceries at your store for 30+ years Ana don't plan on that changing anytime soon;)

This has been my go-to Safeway since I moved to the area a couple years ago. The store is clean and presentable (shoutout to the produce department!!)

Friendly staff and cashiers. The recent addition of park and go shopping has been great. We do it often to save some time, and our orders are always picked accurately. There are substitutions sometimes but that’s to be excepted!

With that said, I used to work at Safeway 13 years ago. The staff here must be so proud of themselves for the wonderful work they do, which is apparent to us shoppers! Corporate: throw them a party or something! Or a raise 😂

Went today at owners request to pick up two cases of water and ice. All the checkers were full of happiness and ready to help customers. Another customer was so happy she gave one of the checkers a huge ( masked up ), and I said I wanted a huge too. To my surprise the lady gave me one too. This really made my day go by and as leaving being friendly to everyone I met while leaving the store.

Great store. Nice checkers. Just remember to hold onto your purse as you walk through the parking lot. Sometimes there is unsavory people there.

Clean. Extremely stocked on all the good groceries you'd expect to find at a well laid out Grocery store. I will travel a little farther to reach this Safeway- from a picky shopper, me!

Safeway is great! There is always someone to help me out with my groceries! Much appreciated! That just doesn't happen anywhere else. That I've been, anyway.

I used to shop at this Safeway regularly for about ten years and I don't remember ever having a complaint about the place in all that time. I think they ran out of my favorite beer once... I always liked the place and the one on 56th and the 38th but the 72nd location has more of a good feel to it there. Maybe it's just the neighborhood mixture. Idk really but it has good energy from friendly clerks that don't mind gabbing with the customers a bit and still keep the line moving quickly too. Just one branch that stands out to me most. And they make Albertsons look like they need to TRY Less & Do MORE !! HA.
