Cappy's Produce

Haven't been there for awhile but everything and everyone was polite and friendly. Vegetables were looking good. Again prices were up but needed to grab potatoes, plums,2 salads premade, grapes and a watermelon. Been going here since they opened.
The owner wasn't lying about spuds, they are 7 dollars for 10lbs. Last time buying those gold nuggets. I can tell prices are going up. Use to be able to go in and buy vegetables for a week or more. Not anymore. Will keep going here but will have to watch my pennies.
Everything was fine today. Some stuff was high but I guess we have to live with it.
Wow I was shocked in the price of things that have gone up. Been going here since it opened up. Guess I will not be coming has often has I use too. Still good fruit stand, vegetables and fruits are up there in price. Owners always say hi and very helpful.

We love Cappy's! Great prices and produce! He always walks my Grandma and I out to our car or makes sure someone takes good care of us!

Great place for bags of jalapeños for reasonable prices. Clean and well managed with friendly and helpful staff.

Cheap, healthy produce and good fruit when in season. Staff is super nice and helpful too.

Great deals and fresh produce delivered daily. Yes they sell other things but most go here strictly to get their produce.

Love to come here for fresh local produce. I usually spend from $5-$20 and walk away with quite a lot. During the fall months there's alot of ripe fruit that I like to buy. I want to can them or make jams or jellies from them. Freezing it is also good as an option. Come here for great deals, but have an open mind so you can get the most out of it.

Please visit this place ! It has helped me to feed myself through this economy, they have fresh fruits and vegetables, Mexican products, etc

I am a fan of Cappys. You are not always going to a great deal, but when you do it is a REALLY good deal. Great place for produce and Mexican fare.

I love this produce store! They have a great selection and their prices are, for the most part, cheaper than grocery stores. I bought some of the tastiest blueberries and grapes from here recently. Will definitely be returning more often!

Best prices in Tacoma, Cappy's has that farm stand feel to it with the open doors on slab. Has all the Mexican candies and a meat market. Good little One stop shop for certain types of shopping, and prices you can't beat on produce.

Fantastic deals on some items. Prices increased recently, but local veggies are usually reasonable if not a good deal. Valley Liquidation is where it's at for produce if you don't mind a grind for a better price. Still, Cappy's has a place for fresh meats certain items that you can't just go in to any store and always find. Unless you go to La Huerta off 56th.

Wonderful selection and often better prices than local big chain grocery stores. Also, if you're looking for a bit of a 'different' selection (like jackfruit or yucca root), you might be in luck at Cappy's. Staff are friendly. The store is clean.

I love Cappy’s - for starters, when you enter, there is always an array of items in bulk; Peppers, Tomatoes, etc. When I see this, I usually pick up a few pounds of things and make a batch of Ketchup, or pick up some peppers to pickle.

As you round the corner, there’s a lovely little butcher shop that has all of the cuts of things you didn’t know you wanted, but make the best of things in the world; flap meat, thin cut Chuck, beef neck, shanks (osso bucco!), housemade chorizo…

The store itself is always filled with a variety of ever changing things as the seasons go in addition to pantry and dairy items.

Friendly staff, a fun place to just wander without a set list and let inspiration hit you with what’s there at the time. Highly recommended!

I have been going to Cappy's Produce ever since they opened yeara ago. My kids all love to go there. Everything there is Always fresh and delicious. Everyone there is always polite, sweet and they even help you load your car with your groceries when they are able too! They are the best!
