Best shop in Seattle! Owner and staff are top notch. A great place for deep cuts and those starting to build a collection. Don’t see what you’re looking for? Ask them to order it! Constantly blown away by the records that come through the shop.

This is a great place for vinyl while in Seattle. It has a strong collection of albums. The jazz section is deep and it has a steady volume of new used records flowing in. Nice staff who are curious about your collection. Definitely will return when I next visit Seattle.

After taking a long break from buying records, I had been eyeing Daybreak for a while since I live close by. I did not expect to be as impressed as I was on my first visit, now I make it a point to stop by atleast once a month, but find my self in the shop more often than that.

They are an amazing selection from high end records to hidden gems all at reasonable prices. I am always on the hunt for Latin records and the quality of the latin records they bring in I haven't been able to find anywhere else in Seattle, that includes 45s too!

The staff is super laid back, friendly and makes you feel at ease while browsing the quality selection. I am glad they are a walk away!

FAR OUT! What a store. Sensatianal selection. Such variety and prices are bang on. The owners knowledge is so deep, such an old head on young shoulders. Couldn’t fault it. His wife is a lucky girl.
The BEST in the business. 🍉

Best record shop in the PNW!! Super-clean curtained selection, whatever genre you're looking for they go deep with knowledge and understanding of the music and pressings. Can't stress enough that they have the best prices.

3% of every genre is awesome. These folks are the purveyors of that 3%.

The staff are very friendly, genuinely nice people who love records. Six stars.

My favorite record store in Seattle, hands down. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, competitive prices, have only ever had the best experiences both buying from and selling to them. Cannot recommend enough.

My husband and I love Daybreak Records. We make a trip out here at least once a week. Carefully curated vintage and used records (some new but mostly used!). I always find gems here. Prices are great and the 99 cent sections have fun finds! Awesome selection especially if you love classic rock, really solid new wave/punk/metal sections as well. I love the listening station and the staff is always super friendly and helpful. Really cool building and has a small parking lot. No hauling boxes of records for blocks if you are a seller! One of my favorite record stores in the Seattle area.

A true gem and one of the only places left that still makes Seattle feel special and heartfelt. The storefront is lively and inviting as it beckons you in during the daytime and it glows beautifully in the evening with a warm tranquility that allows you to feel totally immersed in the records and shopping experience. Love how welcoming, kind and deeply knowledgeable the staff are and how much care they put into all of the intricacies that go into this small business. The genres are always well stocked and the higher end wall records are very well-considered. They have an extremely high standard for the quality and condition of the vinyl and there's always so many obscurities that you don't find in other shops. The mascot music note guy is also so lovable and unique! He adorns all of the slip mats and 45 adapters which they sell there. It's so cool that the customers and kids who come into the shop notice him and he gives them something fun to engage with when they go into the store too. A lot of magic in this place. The Fremont neighborhood is lucky to have Daybreak as a landmark.

It was fun to walk down memory lane flipping through albums once again. The man behind the counter was friendly and engaging. He did not mind me asking about technical questions at all. We bought albums there and do not even have a phonograph

Well stocked and rotated selection. I find a Sweet Gem just about every time I go in this place. And the prices don’t break the bank. A place like Daybreak Records is what makes record collecting is fun and not painfully expensive 😎👍 HIGHLY RECOMMEND 🎸🎵
