Unbelievable craftsmanship from this shop. Seriously these guys are master craftsmen. I bought 4 custom bags from Ken and Mark. I sent them an email and they responded promptly. If you want to actually talk with someone, you have to request that time. Their designs are unbelievable and their craftsmanship is unlike anything I’ve ever seen. The leather they use is incredible and it smells so good. Every inch of the bags they designed is so thought out. Every square inch of the bag there’s a purpose for everything they did. So many pockets and pen spots. The leather is supple and luxurious.

If you’re looking for a custom bag that everyone will ask you about and comment on then you’ve come to the right spot. Literally their work is incredible and well worth the price. They’re prices are extremely reasonable for what you are getting. 100% handmade in the USA by master craftsmen. The only place I’d ever go to get a custom bespoke 100% full grain Horween quality leather bag. Their work is outstanding

Every detail is considered, and despite their BIFL design they have a practical weight for EDC. Wow, I’m without words about this store craftsmanship, the bag is amazing it worth every penny . God bless your hands and the team that help you, truly amazed. I have owned other bags from other brands but yours exceeds quality by a mile.!! The material is superb it fits everything perfectly.

The bags that these guys make are works of art. If you had a million dollars, I'm not sure you could buy a higher quality bag. I purchased the Heirloom Messenger 2 with a custom brown patina, and I'm BLOWN AWAY! I first found the pics for that particular bag on their blog. It's incredible and even better in real life. I also got the stainless steel hardware (like the one in the blog), but I retained the two latches (whereas the one in the blog only has one) which how the Heirloom Messenger 2 comes normally. I conditioned the bag and protected it using my Saphir products and I could not be happier. These guys worked with me through the entire process and even took a phone call to answer my questions on some of the customization. If you are wanting a grail/heirloom-quality bag that will last a LIFETIME, they build it. And in my opinion, they build it better than anyone. Years of researching messenger bags led me to these guys and the end result was INCREDIBLE. If you are considering these guys, just stop your research and pull the trigger. They build the most beautiful and highest quality bags on Earth. And that is not an exaggeration.

Incredible craftsmanship, professionalism, and attention to detail from Mark, Ken, and the whole team at The Leather Shop. I purchased an heirloom messenger and a backpack from them recently for my wife, and she couldn't be happier! I highly recommend this team and their work.

After literally a nationwide online search, I ordered the natural leather Adjustable Tote. It took a bit to get it, but it was well worth the wait! As a life-long equestrian, I feel that I’m a pretty good judge of leatherwork and this… well, it‘a just absolutely amazing! The craftsmanship, quality, and attention to detail are second to none. The leather quality is perfect, from the selection of quality hide to the bridle leather straps goods. (Any stiffness of the straps is quickly fixed with just a little leather conditioner. I prefer Higher Standards Leather Care’s Rich Conditioner as it’s non-darkening.) The stitching is tough and excellently reinforced with well-placed rivets and finished to the Nth degree. Pockets are conscientiously placed and the whole piece is just so thoroughly well-designed; I can’t imagine a better tote! I look forward to using it for years to come.

I have been using their bags for over 2 years now, after they were custom made for me. The bags have aged extremely well, and if anything look better than they did when I got them. These guys definitely know what they're doing, and make quality products with excellent service.
