All I wanted was a quick bagel breakfast sandwich to start my morning before a convention. Did I expect to wait 20 minutes in line and have a tricky time finding the place? No. Was it worth it? YES. I sipped away at my cappuccino while gleefully eating the best bagel breakfast sandwich of my life. I shared pictures with friends and thought about it all day, like a long-lost love. I took a few bagels home and reminisced with them about my amazing breakfast the day before while quickly making them disappear. I cannot wait til our paths cross again. Thank you.

You ever wake up in the morning and ask yourself: I really want a bagel, where can I get one? Then start off on a post sunrise quest to go get your fill?

You cruise on Google, and Yelp, and decide you really want that bagel this morning. But you don’t want any bagel, you want a bagel that’s going to have impact, one that’s going to uplift your spirits for the day and satisfy that inner craving for carbs that your microbiome is probably communicating.

Well you found it, that’s Dutchman’s Bagels. It’s not the rough but recently polished mill setting environment that does this place justice (although it is a cool space). It’s the bagels. The layered cream cheese, the hefty circle of caloric nourishment, and the takeaway experience. This place marks your inner bagel connoisseur and says “Yes, this place is good”.

This place is popular for a reason. The bagels are good, and a good bagel is very hard to come by in this area. My only complaint is that the popularity does lead to a bit of a wait both for ordering and for receiving food. I would also like a little more variety in bagel type and cream cheese. Add an Asiago or cheddar bagel and a bacon/chive cream cheese!

Went for the first time with a friend and it was fantastic. Ashley who works on the front line absolutely crushes it along with all the other staff members. The whole place is aesthetically pleasing and smells wonderful. I recommend this place for all your bagel/breakfast needs! 😎🤎

The Bagels at Dutchmen’s are absolutely delicious, the service was prompt and and the lunch sandwich I purchased was amazing. We ordered 6 bagels to go and got the garlic&herb cream cheese and lox cream cheese to go. Bagels were just as delicious the next day!! The service ladies seemed a bit stoic but they did their jobs well. Will definitely be going back 🥯 🥯

The best bagels I have had outside of NY!! A hidden gem in an awesome industrial building. View of the Androscoggin River while waiting in line. A great addition to the neighborhood!

I was looking for a Montreal bagel when I found Dutchman's and figured I'd give it a try while I was in the area. It's not quite a Montreal bagel, but it's a very good bagel nonetheless: soft, fluffy interior and crispy exterior. We got the egg & cheese with bacon on a rosemary garlic bagel and an everything bagel with garlic and herb cream cheese, and the flavor was a little much on the egg & cheese but overall, good bagels, solid sandwiches, and a great drinks selection. My only real complaint is how slow the service was: took us half an hour to get through the line.

These guys have mastered the bagel. It’s, in a word, perfect. And I’m from New York. I would eat bagels every day if I could. I make bagels at home. I know my bagels inside and out.

And I could never make a bagel this good.

And the atmosphere is perfect. The service isn’t exactly “chipper” but I don’t like fake, plastic retail smiles anyway. I want people to be real.

I would give this place six stars if I could. Incredible. Worth the long line, which this place understandably has. Truly amazing bagel.

I received a birthday gift of six of your wood fired bagels. I eat bagels every day, and yours are the best, the absolute very best, I have ever enjoyed. Please consider opening a shop here in Skowhegan.

Had a cappuccino and a poppy seed bagel with horseradish and dill cream cheese! Was yummy! There was a line but it moved quick. Great menu items I look forward to trying!

It was a little hard to find at first, but is definitely a hidden gem! The everything bagel with garlic and herb cream cheese was delicious! Definitely recommend!
