This was one of my first stops while visiting Seattle. The sculptures and fossil art here is stunning. Every piece I set my eyes on was absolutely jaw dropping. I learned a very value lesson here as well... When a particular piece of art speaks to you... BUY IT! It may not be there for you the next day. The staff were also very friendly and knowledgeable about all the pieces. Great place indeed.

It is an absolutely beautiful place where nature and art merge together into inspiring wonder. Each piece makes you smile and feel so much wrapped into amazing feeling or relaxation and joy. I was on my way back to Montana from my trip and just dove by. What I noticed in the window looked so attractive that I stopped. Gallery was about to close, but Kathy invited me to stay as long as I needed to look around and provide information about beautiful sculptures, material that they are made from. So I left this beautiful place with my little buddy otter that makes me smile every time I look at him

Amazing amazing amazing and amazing if you like really nice artwork and you have some money to spend I suggest that you head here just walking by. I could tell that this place is the real deal and I won’t be buying anything here because I don’t have that much money, but these things are freaking amazing. But thank you, fossil and stone for all the great work that you put by the windows because that is just amazing..

What an amazing store. The owners’ daughter was of great assistance and the store was filled with treasures. My son bought a little carving as a souvenir from Seattle but if we had more money, space at home, and a moving van, we would have brought much more home with us. Definitely five stars.

Always stop by when I'm in Seattle. I have bought multiple pieces carved by Eddie Lee and display them proudly. His work is top notch and you must stop by the shop to view some truly remarkable peices. 👌

I live right above this store and me and my husband we decided to stop by. The arts that displayed there all are handmade and unique. You will not get same piece anywhere in the world. The crafts are very elegant and can blend in any interior. My most favorite pieces are with otters and polar bears, it represents so well PNW. We end up buying small piece and we are already thinking about buying other piece for our apartment. You get a certificate and you can also name your otters & bears...I highly recommend this store, you will not be disappointed.
Also we happened to meet Eddies (owner) daughter and she explained us a lot about art and craftsmanship. Eddie works with selenite and many sculptors don't have enough experience to work with such a material because it's very fragile. He also uses buffalo horns, ivory, fluorite and many other beautiful materials like crystals..

This place is amazing. Eddie Lee is extremely talented; his sculptures exude love, warmth, and kindness.
For a good reason, some materials have been waiting for The Master for millenniums. He understands
the soul and spirit of the Northwest. His vision and exquisite craftmanship breathe new life into ancient stones
and fossils. No pictures can give his art the credit it deserves; it must be seen.
Kathy and the other Lady (sorry, I don't remember the name) who works at the gallery are very knowledgeable, and they share their passion and knowledge with the customers and people who stop to look at the artwork.
My friend and I are very grateful for our immensely positive experience visiting the gallery.

Awesome art here. You'll have to ignore the people shooting up in the street around this...but welcome to the city. The gallery itself is amazing with unique and really beautiful natural geodes as well as carvings of various sorts. There are some things on the affordable side as well, though there are also items in the tens of thousands of dollars too. Definitely worth looking through.

This by far is the most beautiful art gallery I have ever been to in my entire life. The sculptures they have here are all done by Kathy’s *store manager* Father who’s been sculpting in Seattle for over 20+ years!! The sculptures you’ll find in this store are absolutely stunning. And the experience you’ll have while enjoying your self and looking around while either Kathy or Maddie assist you I guarantee you won’t meet any one as nice as these two gals who will help you find that perfect piece of art that you just can’t live with out! Take the time and go check them out you won’t regret it chances are you’ll find a sculpture that really resonates with you that you’ll take home and cherish for the rest of your life! I know I have and will! I have all ready purchased one sculpture from here and I have 5 more that I’m also picking up cause of the amazing customer service I received but also because I can’t live with out these beautiful works of of art in my life so I can share my passion of art with the world through the lovely sculptures that I couldn’t find any where else but right here at, “Fossil & Stone Fine Art Gallery”.

Below I shared how my experience went along with some photos of the sculpture I found and loved with all my heart and is now on its way to Arizona along side 5 others here in the near future! Check my next post for even more detail!!

Beautiful work. Would have loved to purchase something but I am honestly concerned it may break on the way home (airports be rough). May have them ship a piece I liked at a later date since they did offer that.

FYI: They told us to take a picture of what we liked in the gallery and to send that to them since their online inventory is limited compared to in store selections.

As we were wandering around downtown Seattle enjoying a beautiful day we stumbled across this art gallery. We were immediately drawn to the unique pieces in the window so we decided to go in. When we got in there I told my two boys to make sure they did not touch anything… However the curator quickly let me know that this was an interactive tactile gallery and interacting with the art through touch was encouraged! It was amazing! The work of this artist is phenomenal and the people working At the store were clearly passionate about the work and excited to share it with customers. We could’ve spent all day there. At the end of a very fun filled day both of my boys said it was their favorite part of downtown Seattle!

Utterly beautiful and breathtaking pieces. The two dimensional pictures just can't do justice to the real thing, and the few pictures I took are a poor representation of the vast number of pieces offered. The artist creates truly powerful pieces, and Gail, the staff person kind enough to show us around was welcoming, knowledgeable, in love with the art, and not at all pushy. If you want phenomenal creations in your home and life, this is the place to find them.

Just like it’s store name, it has lots of fossil and stone art in the shop. We had a nice visit and the lady was very patient and explained us the art and the artist even if we aren’t planning to purchase anything. Recommend to have a quick visit if you’re in the area and wanted to check some places in walking distance.

I went shopping in Seattle and saw all the beautiful art work, so we found some fantastic pieces. I have a beautiful talking piece of Masonite stone bowl. Bought a led light it sits on and it makes me happy on gloomy days. They have gorgeous jewelry as well. I bought myself two rings that are one of kind. And are very affordable natural gems little over 300.00 a piece. Guys woman like something unique and special. Kathy was super fun and helpful. I got the opportunity to meet the artist as he was coming in just as I was leaving. Will definitely be back.

Gorgeous art wish. Everything is touchable. The artist is amazing. There's this one piece in there that was a complete masterpiece (not that there aren't more). I must have spent 20 minutes alone looking at it and another hour just looking at the craft. So by, you'll be glad you did.

Absolutely beautiful collection! One after another, at every turn I was beyond impressed. Kathy was so welcoming and thoroughly enjoyed the time she spent showing me various items and explained their history. I had stumbled upon the gallery while visiting downtown for another destination but this was the highlight of my day. Prices seem very reasonable and I believe there is something for anyone's budget to be found here.

I was staying very close to your store. 2 times I must have had a green light and didn't stop. 3rd time was the charm. Waiting at the light I couldn't help but notice the cool stuff in the windows. Parked car, but went right to store. Fantastic work on display. A megalodon tooth on display caught my attention first. 1400 bucks or so. Then a nautilus fossil caught my eye. Much cooler than the megalodon tooth to me. I've been looking for something like this for a long time. I was stunned the price was just under 400 bucks! I thought it was likely well over 2 grand! THIS IS THE COOLEST STORE/GALLERY I HAVE EVER SEEN! Unlike any store I have ever seen. Beautiful works of art here. My new fossil is right in front of me as I right this review. Next year at this time, I will probably be back in Seattle. I will make sure I have more funds available for the next time I am there. I am sure I will see something really cool that might be a tad more expensive. Gotta be prepared! And the woman working the front desk at the hotel said she avoids the place on payday! She doesn't want to spend her check so fast! Simply put, this place has some brilliant works of art. I won't be purchasing the 70k dollar Cave Bear skeleton on display, but I can't believe I got a beautiful fossil for under 400 bucks.

Beautiful art in here and extra helpful and friendly staff. Man, they have real fossils in here. It is a mix between a gallery, museum and store. There are also beautiful Crystals and artwork from carved wood. A beautiful must-visit if you are downtown and headed to the Pike Marketplace. They are located about a block away.
