Great experience for our family of 5! From the initial call to schedule to returning back to the dock. Charlie was an awesome guide, equipment was on point, and the preserve did not disappoint with 20+ gators, soft shelled turtles and multiple species of fish and birds seen. Highly recommend!

Really enjoyed the experience. We were able to see lots of gators (even some babies) and a lot of the local wildlife. Charlie was a great as a guide too.

From the second we left the dock to the time we got back was incredible. Charles' knowlege and sense of humor was a blast. Some beautiful scenery and awesome wildlife made for the best day. Will definitely be back.

A great and personable tour guide! Love this one the best in the general area!! You go through palm trees and a lot of swamp covered in grasses and lillypads! Alligators, birds and other wildlife.

We had a blast on the airboat ride. Charlie was informative about the wildlife, marsh area, birds and where to find baby alligators! I would recommend this 1 hour boat ride for all ages. Thank you for a wonderful time!

Swamp Donkey Airboats Rides is a MUST do! Trips are about 1 hour long and so much fun. Our guide was very knowledgeable of the area and the wildlife and brought everything to life with his great wit and humor. I would do this experience again in a heart beat.

Went out for an airboat ride this weekend with my family and had an absolutely great time. The weather was perfect for the ride. We were able to see several alligators, birds, and just beautiful scenery. Charlie was an excellent guide and showed that he knew the area and the wildlife very well. Our kids throughly enjoyed the ride, talking with Charlie, and all the alligators. This is just a short and very easy ride from the heart of Melbourne. Even though it’s so close it feels like you are way out I. The countryside once you’re out on the boat. It is so peaceful and beautiful. We definitely plan to do this again and also plan to have our extended family come along. If you’ve not been out on one of these tours before then do yourself a favor and have Charlie take you on a great airboat ride!

This was an awesome experience for us grandparents, daughter and 3 grandkids. Charlie was a knowledgeable guide and really knew the swamp area like it was his back yard. Many gators at many locations through out the area. The beauty of this wild area was beyond belief and we were able to capture it in photos.

So much fun! The owner/operator is really nice and knowledgeable about the area and keeps the trip interesting. It's absolutely beautiful out there! We had a great time 🐊

They were quick and responsive to our inquiry. Captain Charlie was great! He was friendly, informative, and knows the marsh well. We were able to see the marsh and wildlife including birds and gators. Sites were picture perfect! Thank you!! I personally loved all the lilly pads in bloom for miles…I called them daisies of the marsh!

We had an amazing time. We came to Florida from Arkansas hoping we would get the chance to see an alligator- thanks to Swamp Donkeys we got to see MULTIPLE alligators and several beautiful birds. We never imagined a ride through the swamp could be so smooth!! I highly recommend going on this tour. We hear the winter months are best to see wildlife so bring a coat!

When I was told we’d be heading to a swamp Ridin’ a donkey I was not thrilled. Turns out the swamp is real but the donkey is actually a huge metal sheet pan with a propeller attached to a monstrous V8 engine on the back. Before I knew it I was Tokyo drifting through reeds, over lilies, around birds, with fish jumpin and frogs hoppin.

Place was beautiful.

At one point we were surrounded by no less than 9 gators. Again. No donkeys. But the gators were everywhere.

Our guide was polite, courteous, friendly, informative, and safe.

You gotta try this place out if your lookin for a good time in the Florida swamps.

If you lookin for donkeys in a swamp it’s a different story.

Charlie was an amazing tour guide and we had an absolute blast, very safe and lots of fun. Highly recommended ! We saw lots of gators!

This is a great and fun activity especially on a hot day. The ride is very smooth and Captain Charlie points out wildlife and unique plants along the way. Headsets are provided to block the noise of the engine and also to allow Capt Charlie to narrate and for you to ask questions. The area is beautiful and the breeze from the boat moving kept us comfortable. Definitely something we will do again!

This was the best thing we did while in Florida!! I definitely recommend, even to people who may not like boats, this is more like being in a race car that stops for alligators! Love all the wildlife and our captain Charlie was amazing!!! If ever back here we will do it again!

First time on an air boat and definitely not the last! My mom is in town visiting for the holiday weekend and we are so glad we did this and used Swamp Donkey! Captain Charlie was awesome and the tour was amazing! Saw lots of gators and even saw one devouring a fish! Very cool experience!! We will be back next month when we have more family in town visiting. Can’t wait to do again!! Thanks!!

What an awesome experience! Highly recommend. Very knowledgeable about local wildlife. Had the good gator spots. I've heard people say they wouldn't do this because of the noise but with the headsets, not an issue. Thank you!
