Steak 'n Shake

First time trying here, and I wasn't disappointed. The burger was really good and I liked the shoestring fries. Shake was good to! The thing that really stood out was the staff was really helpful and just great. One young guy helped us put in our order and made sure everyone else was able to as well. If your looking for a burger and fries give them a try. Prices were not bad at all either!!

Thanks Ms. Theresa and crew... we had a very pleasant experience and the meals were fantastic! For fast food, we were treated like a sit down restaurant. I'd like to order thru a cashier but that's no fault of the current staff and Theresa was quick to offer assistance, as well as bring us milkshake spoons, and get the kids hats and cardboard cars to build.

Just walked into one of the cleanest restaurants I have been into in a very, very, very long time, the hostess Teresa, super personable, greeted me with a smile, asked me how I was doing… A real life person!😳🥰

You can see right over the counter into the kitchen… Exceptionally clean, the cooks on the grill, and everyone behind the counter, CLEAN white uniforms.

If you were traveling through Melbourne, and looking for a place to grab a quick bite, I would 100% recommend this place. Again, I cannot stress how exceptionally clean the entire place was.

One of the only places left to get something to eat for less than $10.00. I haven’t been in a while and was pleasantly surprised at how clean it was. There was a very nice lady that greeted us at the door to welcome us, she called herself the Stake n Shake ambassador. Very pleasant and helpful walking around asking if we needed anything ..the food was good as usual. If you are on a budget or just craving a great burger this is the place.

Love this place! A little too much. The steak burgers are just too good. And the fries, too. Try the garlic burger. My personal fave. Without a drink is less than 6 bucks. Shakes are fantastic too for a little treat!

Pretty good hamburger. But they always want a tip. You order from a machine and clean up your own table. So you tip the employee for yelling out your name when the order is ready. Now that's some easy money!

Stopped here for lunch with my two grandchildren and was so very pleased to meet Theresa, she greeted us with a smile and so much friendliness. She checked on us while we were waiting for our food and offered to get us any condiments we might need. She was so nice to us all the way until we walked out by wishing us a great day and thanking us for having lunch at this steak and shake. She is a wonderful asset to this restaurant, keep doing what you are doing Theresa, you are very much appreciated and made us feel as though we were your only customer for the whole day.

They've changed! I've been a couple of times now since they've made management and store changes and I must say I'm impressed. Normally you can expect to wait forever and get subpar food but it's cheap. However that's not the case anymore. It's still affordable and that hasn't changed, their app works 100% better than it used to but the food and the service have improved exponentially. And this isn't based on one visit so it's not a fluke!

The cleanest one I've ever been to. The cook on the grill was killing it- everything that came out tasted great, he helped some people out at the kiosk, and greeted everyone coming in and leaving. 10/10 would come again!

Excellent milkshakes. My friends and I go on a regular basis. We can for 3 of us get 3 milkshakes for under $9.

Walked in and was immediately greeted by Teresa! She was so nice and took care of us the entire time, even going out of her way to bring our shakes to the table!!! 😊

For some reason when you order milkshake from the app, they don’t announce it, they put it in the fridge. So after waiting for 20mins I went to ask and they took it out from there but whip cream was already cold and not that soft anymore.

But milkshakes are the best there, obviously!

This Steak n Shake was delicious! The food was all fresh and the service was quick and friendly! If you haven’t been or haven’t been in a while you should give it a go. You won’t be disappointed!

It's my favorite go to place for burgers when visiting.

From the minute I walked in the door I was greeted with a big hello, by the cook and Teresa, my server was fantastic.

A great place for burgers and fries or onion rings. The best thing on the menu to me are the shakes, thick and creamy and delicious.
