Amazing variety of teas, spices, salts, and sugars. They have some really bold and creative flavor blends. The crème brûlée green tea was my favorite. Staff was extremely friendly and was able to answer questions about the teas and steer us in the right direction. We had such a great experience, we went back the very next day!

The Tea and Spice Exchange is right on the top of my favorite list of shops to go to in Port Townsend, another store that is a must-see for everyone!
I can't begin to tell you the unique spices, teas, sugars, and salts that the Tea and Spice Exchange has, so many unique flavors and blends. We continue to buy our favorites and throw in new ones now and again, we never leave this shop empty-handed!
The staff at the Tea and Spice Exchange are friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable.
If you are ever lucky enough to experience this little shop, I recommend talking with Maria, she's warm, kind-hearted and makes you feel welcomed!
One fun thing about this little store is that they encourage you to pop the lids off and smell everything; I'll admit, it's a lot harder to do with a mask on, but hopefully, we are at a turning point, and soon mask will be a choice and not a mandate. Nonetheless, they offer small little packets of most of their seasonings; it really is a great way to try something new and not be committed to a large quantity and price.
I have ever only witnessed this store as being clean and organized!
You can find this unique little store at 929 Water Street, Port Townsend, WA. They are neighbors to the Lively Olive Tasting Bar. You can't go to one place without stopping at the other!!!
**Right now times are difficult for many people and businesses, small and large, so, I thank you for continuing to support all small businesses like this one!**

We visit this store 2-3 times a year and love it, we never leave empty handed and love the fact they offer a sample of a tea and normally of one of their spices they turned into a dip. I can honestly say that we have purchased many items by being able to sample it first. There is such a great variety of flavored sugars, salts, teas, spices and more. We find the employees friendly with one being also very eccentric which makes her fun and unique. Anyone who visits Port Townsend should stop in, you won't be disappointed.

I arrived after work, with a exhausted passion to make a dish I had never made, the beautiful woman behind the counter hand wrote me a recipe that I used and was delicious and simple. I feel blessed to have spent one on one time with what I believe was the owner. I felt so loved when I left I cried with gratitude. 🥰 i was also given a small parting gift.

Got there just before they were closing the shop but had enough time to browse through their spice mixes (got one to try too) and also bought myself a cup of tea. The lady walked me through a few options and I ended up buying the one that turned blue by the time it brewed. such an unusual color in the cup :)

My mom LOVED this store! I didn't even know it was there though I had been to the market before. Their signature tea they gave as a sample was AMAZING!It's such a neat place filled with every tea and spice under the Sun, takes you back to another time. Definitely worth a stop, especially if you're a tea lover!

Cool place to look around! Rowan was very helpful, and showed us a few different spices, teas, salts, etc. and got to taste test some! We decided to go and buy one, could probably use this on some good barbecue!

I love this shop - have been buying here for years! They have a wide array of teas and spices. In particular their chocolate black tea, chili lime salt and cardamon sugar are unique strawberries standouts. Friendly staff, free samples, peaceful space- just a delight!

This is definitely one of my favorite stores in Port Townsend. The variety of spices, teas, and blends is phenomenal. They also have a great rewards program that is free to join so every couple of purchases, I receive a free item. The owner recommended the Backwoods Hickory Blend and it has become a favorite in my house. All of the staff that I have encountered is really helpful and the owner has a candid New Jersey personality--a refreshing addition that makes the shop so unique and fun! My other go-to favorites are the crystallized ginger, bamboo rice, and the white tropical tea. This store is an absolute gem in downtown and well worth a visit!

I'm very particular about my teas, but this place has become my favorite stop for Earl Grey. There spices and blends are so delicious; my favorite being their English Roast rub!

This was the most amazing shop! They had all the typical spices, but the best part was all the of custom blends of spices and tea’s and the smoked salts were my personal favorite. This is a must visit if you’re in Port Townsend ❤

The owner Judy is fantastic and gives helpful advice and recommendations of their products. You haven't lived until you've tried smoked salt. I always enjoy going in here to chat with her and to peruse their excellent selection of tea and spices. Perfect spot for gifts for any occasion and anyone on your list (and, of course, for gifts for yourself!). Definitely a do-not-miss stop in downtown Port Townsend for locals and tourists alike!

Love this place! We make sure to visit every time we're in Port Townsend. Friendly and helpful staff. And OH MY, what an AMAZING experience for my nose and taste buds! I've been to other spice shops in Seattle and highly recommend this small town shop over the others.

Can't beat the selection and service. The tea bar might not be new but it was for me. A great addition.

Not a huge variety of any single type of thing, but a nice selection each of flavored salts, flavored sugars, herb mixes, and teas. Made my FIL's day when he visited here, and even had maple sugar to take home to Scotland with him to sweeten his teas. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Friendly helpful people and so many great spice and seasoning blends plus recipe suggestions. Sample teas. Sniff all of it. Fun and yum! I replenish my seasonings supply every time I go visit Port Townsend. We camp at Fort Flagler which is about 30 minutes away. They have a huge selection.
