Such a cute place! The ice cream was good but I was pleasantly surprised by all the other items for sale. I look forward to coming back with my kids for yummy goodies but also things to gift other people and buy for myself.

It was my first time visiting. The gentleman that owns the shop was super sweet to my son. My son wasn’t feeling his best and we just came from the pediatrician’s office, and all he wanted was ice cream. The gentleman was doing everything to make him smile. Even gave him these little buckets that had bear and dinosaur crayons. The girls behind the counter were super patient and sweet. They had a shops full of different sweets and other things. We will definitely be coming back.

This is what Roanoke needed! I just adore my trips to Sugar Magnolia! They have the most unique gifts and delicious ice cream. You must try the banana pudding! I got these adorable gifts for my models during a photo shoot for my boutique and they loved them! The girls at the store were so nice to put everything in these cute bags with tissue paper.

Such a cute shop!! We found some treasures, picked out some truffles for later and shared a plate of ice cream nachos (waffle chips with Michigan pothole, carmel turtle, and vanilla bean ice cream covered in cookie crumble, chocolate syrup and whipped cream). Sooo good!!!

Honestly cannot get over how amazing the team is here. Sure the gifty items are adorable, and the ice cream is delicious. But the staff?! I’ve been here several times with my kids and the team always goes above and beyond to help us! Though they are teenagers (at least the ones I’ve seen), they see when a mom needs an extra hand- they always step out from around the counter to put out a step stool (so my littles can see what flavor they want) or give another hand as I shop for gifts, or literally anything I might need, without me even asking.
Y’all are the literal best, and make solo mom nights out with kids an absolute joy!

Loved the place! It was beautiful when I walked in as well and the people were nice as well! I got their lemon cheesecake flavor which was amazing!

The store is beautiful! Tidy, clean, well organized and room to walk around. Staff is friendly and offered ice cream samples and told us of their sugar free options. Nice atmosphere. Clean bathrooms with plenty of space for kiddos or handicapped. Ice cream was AMAZING!!!! And prices are reasonable.

Visited for the first time today, and the ice cream was delicious. Purchased some chocolates as well to try. The gentleman helping us was very polite and efficient. We sat at a table that happened to be next to the owners who were in a meeting, but the owner took time to talk to my rambunctious 4 year old and offered to share his chocolate pretzels with my kiddo and he took time to remember his name for when we left to say goodbye, which I thought was super nice. Pricing wise I felt they were on standard average for the icecream, if not slightly underpriced for the product. Only issue/warning I have is if you have a kiddo that you definitely have their hand held when you first walk in because there are a lot of breakable items on your way to the icecream. Looks beautiful but definitely made me paranoid we might accidentally break something.

We were greeted by super sweet staff in a very clean store and welcoming environment. The ice cream and chocolates were delicious. All 4 of us found fun things to buy. There were so many interesting things to browse. Will definitely visit again

Love this place great gifts if your into that kind of thing(wife is)the ice cream is the go for my opinion the best is the flight like getting a bourbon flight you must get the rush hour coffee ice cream

I love this shop! The Rush Hour ice cream is my absolute favorite! The staff is wonderful and the gifts are so unique! Just wish they would add cookies and cupcakes. ❤

Already been twice in one week! It’s absolutely delicious. Love the lemon cheesecake or banana pudding. It’s an added bonus that they gave sweet gifts to pick up for people. Certainly will be competition for other ice cream stores!

The owners are amazing people with incredible creativity and taste. Super sweet shop employees, creamy ice cream, and the perfect place to buy gifts and stationary. I love the southern charm of the entire store, perfect addition to Roanoke!

It is a very nice place. I live very close to it and I love seeing the faces of the servers smile when anyone walks in.
