My mom and I worked with Dave and it was a great experience! He was extremely helpful, kind & thorough. Outside of his expertise, the popcorn was delicious. Thanks, Dave!! As for the facility, it’s so clean, has easy access and a great location.

It is a very nice and clean storage facility with good pricing, and the free box truck usage is a great added feature. I worked with Tyler, Dave, and Gary, and all of them we're extremely helpful! I'm glad to have chosen this Citadel location for my storage needs.

Man, I wish these guys had been opened when I got my storage unit last February. I can’t say enough good things about David. He’s what customer service is about. I was in a jam as my former storage facility kept raising my rates. I posted on social media about it and David commented and had me in my new unit in a week. Locked rate, discount for online payment, clean units ( they have bathrooms!), equipment to make move in easy, terrific access, all units are climate controlled. David treated me nicely and accommodating me when I was a problem child. Did I mention free 16’ box truck for moving? Get yourself with these guys if you’re looking.

Easiest people to work with ever! They really excel at customer service. Alan found perfect people in Tyler and Dave that understand that. Building is clean, easy to access, open plenty of hours. If you need storage near Latitude Margaritaville, or Sun City, this is the place.

Dave at the service desk was extremely personable, patient and professional. Stepped us thru all the storage size options and gave us a tour around the facility. Facility is about a year old, extremely clean, well lit and secure. I have rented storage units before and like that the Citadel walls go to the ceiling and you can’t look in from above. Also liked the option to be able to use my home insurance vs being forced to purchase insurance from the storage facility.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Building was extremely clean. The covered loading area was so helpful on the rainy day we unloaded the truck. We were given a free lock with our unit. Whole process was very easy and the location is so convenient.

Citadel Self Storage is very conveniently located near 278 and 170. The staff are friendly and the facility is new and kept very clean. Prices are very competitive. There are a number of easy access doors along with a covered area for loading and unloading out of the elements. There is even a large truck that is available for temporary use,!! Highly recommend this facility for your storage needs.

Citadel was a good experience for me. They continue to keep the facility spotless and accessible. We have a large unit and have no problems with staff or getting objects in and out of the building. I would recommend the facility with no reservations thanks to Dave and have the cooperation And easy payment plan.

I'm not a fan of storage units, BUT due to a death in the family it became necessary. We checked Citadel out and not only is it close to home making it convenient, but it's new, clean, priced right and the personnel are great to work with and friendly! We also needed a truck and turns out they loan you one for "No" charge just fill the tank!
Try them...you'll be pleased!

This is a wonderful facility. Clean, convenient and managed with courtesy. Dave presented our options and made the whole experience pleasant. I would highly recommend Citadel to anyone looking for a storage unit.

The Citadel is wonderful. It is so well maintained inside and out. I like there are good exterior lights for the nighttime. I especially am grateful for Dave at the front desk front desk. He has been very helpful.

We just recently rented a storage unit from this facility. We had a great experience there. We were helped by Dave , he was very helpful and informative. Would definitely recommend them.

We needed a storage unit as we are moving a relative to hospice care. Several neighbors in Sun City recommended Citadel. The location is close to my home, so I drove my golf cart over to check it out. Tyler showed me several different unit sizes. We were thankful that Citadel offers a truck which made the move hassle free. The awning over the entrance was nice since it was pouring rain when we unloaded. The motion sensing, double door entrance makes it easy to move furniture items in and out. The facility is well-lit with motion sensors to turn on lights as you move down the hallway. Being a new facility, you quickly notice that the place is super clean and no wear and tear. They provide two wheel dollys and flat bed carts at each entrance. The carts are heavy duty which really helps moving heavier items. We opted for a second floor unit and monthly auto pay which each gives us a small price break. Tyler and Dave are knowledgeable, courteous, and their customer care really shows! So glad a storage facility that is so conveniently close is also a gem!

I rented two units to store my furniture and personal possessions for an extended need. The location was clean and climate controlled and the price was very competitive. They had a free truck for rental customers. The staff was also very professional and courteous. Over all, a very positive experience.

Citadel storage has been the best experience for me. It's the cleanest storage area that I have seen and working with Dave has been so easy and productive. I had to upsize my unit when I discovered we had too many goods to fit in the original one. Dave found us a unit right next to the old one and it was so easy to consolidate together. Dave makes the whole process quick and seamless. When you unload your goods from storage, they have a box truck that you can use for free. Dave also found us a smaller unit near our big unit that we no use to keep a small amount of goods until we decide what to do with them. Dave also has great recommendations for movers, which we used and they did an excellent job. On top of this, you get one month free when you rent a unit. I highly recommend Citadel Storage Okatie and go see Super Dave for help!

Great location for Sun City and surrounding areas. Easy in and out been a real treat! After initial setup and access configuration it’s been like I’m going to my garage each time I need to get or take or replace items.

Best Customer Service! Dave McGanni was so helpful. Needed chair covers and he even stayed after 5:00 p.m. to make sure I could pick them up after work. Facility is new and looked super clean. Very helpful and wonderful product! So glad they are in the Lowcountry.

I gave 5 stars because this place is awesome and is 5 minutes away from Sun City. I have 2 storages there. Very clean, climate controlled, never any concers with safety. Dave and Tyler are very professional. If you need a storage unit in the Bluffton area this is the place to go.
