AutoNation Volkswagen Hilton Head

Wanted to give a shout out to AutoNation VW. Our salesperson Greg and everyone there provided us with a great buying experience. We could not be happier with our Atlas Cross Sport. The transaction was smooth and we will recommend AutoNation to friends and family. The 2024 enhancements VW made to the Atlas make it a game changer in my opinion, it is more upscale. We really like the leather interior, ambient lighting, and the led light bars. It drives amazing. If you are in the market for a larger SUV, check out the Atlas.

We are in Hilton Head temporarily and needed routine maintenance for our vehicle. I scheduled an appointment for 10:00 AM but arrived early, and they took my car in ahead of time.

The staff at this facility was absolutely fantastic. Friendly, courteous, and efficient, they made the whole process seamless. The facility itself was impressively clean, creating a welcoming atmosphere.

What set this experience apart was the level of transparency. Not only did they take my car in early, but they also went above and beyond by sending a video of the technician inspecting and explaining the status of my vehicle. The detailed recommendations for future maintenance needs in the coming months were particularly helpful.

Overall, this was a great experience that exceeded our expectations. If you're in Hilton Head and in need of automotive services, I highly recommend this establishment for their exceptional service and commitment to customer satisfaction.

Jay Marshall in Service is great. The dealership is very comfortable and work friendly if you need to bring your laptop while you wait. Also the technician did a video of all the issues they observed, which not every place does. Very helpful to make sure your insurance covers everything.

We actually drive down from Aiken because your service department is the absolute best! The attention to detail is spot on, Mike the Service Manager is thorough, professional & friendly. We love the ease of dropping our car off, hopping into a loaner, then hitting the beach for a while. Thank you for taking such good care of our SUV! The service has been excellent every time we come in.

The dealership was everything you wanted to be. A great waiting room. Are you wait plus coffee and water were provided. I dealt with Justin, /Jay who was a terrific service rep. He constantly kept me informed on the work being provided he went out of his way to assure me they were taking care of me. Great employee.

I recently had an incredibly positive experience at the Volkswagen Hilton Head dealership, and I cannot express my gratitude enough, particularly to Mike Malinsky and his dedicated team.

During the middle of a 750-mile road trip with my family of six and two dogs, we encountered an unexpected obstacle when a rock damaged our VW Atlas radiator, causing a significant loss of fluid.

From the moment we arrived at the dealership, Mike and his team demonstrated an exceptional level of attentiveness and professionalism. Realizing how urgent our situation was, they wasted no time in getting us a new radiator. It wasn't an easy task as it was out of stock not only at Volkswagen but also in the surrounding area. The team also provided a loaner vehicle that fit our entire crew.

The radiator arrived late on Friday around 3 pm, and here's where the exceptional service truly stood out. Rather than opting for a convenient Monday repair, Mike and his team went above and beyond by ensuring the replacement was completed after regular business hours on Friday. This commitment to accommodating our timeline allowed us to continue our journey without significant disruption.

I want to commend Mike and the entire service team at Volkswagen Hilton Head for their outstanding customer service. Their responsiveness, efficiency, and dedication to customer satisfaction were truly remarkable. In a situation that could have easily led to a delayed repair and an extended stay, they prioritized our needs and demonstrated a level of service that goes above and beyond expectations.

The guys at VW Hilton Head were incredible. I arrived late but because of the nature of my mechanical issues, they went ahead and provided me a service anyway. I am/was extremely thankful because I could've been in a dangerous situation on the highway had they not helped me. It was costly but necessary, and I am grateful.

09/13/2023: Took my car - 2022 Atlas - in for 20k checkup/oil change/multi point inspection.
Jay and Maddie (I believe was her name) were extremely pleasant and helpful. My appointment was @ 10:30 and I was early. Jay let me know up front it would be a little longer than the expected time due to the volume of cars needing service.
During my wait, I watched as Jay really did some fine customer service as there had been some folks in for service multiple times for issues that the service techs had difficulty diagnosing and/or getting correct parts for repair.
Being in a similar customer facing business myself, it was nice to see how well Jay handled customers who expressed dissatisfaction with some aspect of their service.
In addition, Jay was training Maddie and that made the job more challenging that day. I have a great deal of respect for folks who, under the strain of high volume and multitasking, can still show the best that humans can be.
My service was maybe a little longer than expected, but it gave me the chance to see how well these two folks performed under difficult circumstances.

Mikhayla was THE BEST! She listened to what we wanted, what we didn't want and didn't flinch when we changed our minds about which vehicle we wanted. The only negative was once we got into the finance office. The process took forever! The gentleman helping us, although very nice, kept making mistakes and having to redo the paper work.

Best car buying experience ever! Mikhayla is an outstanding sales associate with an expert knowledge of the vehicle. She is friendly and professional, making us very comfortable throughout the looking and buying process. She answered all of our questions and was able to demonstrate the numerous features of the Atlas, especially the tech functions. Quick, easy purchase of the SUV we wanted. Stayed by our side until we drove it off the lot. Highly recommend working with Mikhayla, a professional who truly cares. Thank you! Additionally, impressive work from sales manager Phil, and Tommy in finance; they make a great team.

Jay was wonderful! Very pleasant & on top of things. He checked the system & found I had an extended warranty which covered my oil change. I also think that was the fastest I have been there for an oil change! This being my 3rd VW, I have sat through LOTS of oil changes there. Jay also kept me updated on the service throughout my waiting time which I really appreciated.

I am currently living out of state for college and the AutoNation Volkswagen Savannah isn’t the best. Therefore I turned to going here instead for my oil change and tire rotation. It exceeded all my expectations and the drive was worth it! I will always compare my car experiences with my home dealership, however this place is just like them. All the staff was extremely helpful, kind, respectful and informative. When I arrived the staff immediately helped me and took my car back. Whenever I was waiting for my service I was being updated with how much time was left and at what stage they were at. They were able to do an overall inspection of my car, which was fantastic and very helpful. Thankfully this helped me with also getting my air filter replaced. I will be coming back here for my future services on my car!

My check engine light came on while on vacation, 8.5 hours from home, and I panicked! The team was able to squeeze me in, we’re very kind, communicated well, helped me understand the issue, made sure I got to and from the dealership safely while they checked on the car, and were generally awesome. If I lived in the area, I’d gladly have them as my go to service provider!

Great buying experience, it did take awhile before I even got the chance to test drive the vehicle but that was only because of a minor confusion with what part was getting repaired. Otherwise, very satisfied with the purchase and would recommend.

I have to say easily the best service experience in recent memory. Jay was fabulous, we had some extenuating circumstances and good as his word had a loaner for us to use. Service department called me to confirm issues and tried very hard to reproduce problems. First time I’ve ever talked to a tech. Our other vehicle is high end and frankly I think our next car will be another VW. Thanks guys!!!!!!

Owning many cars and having been to many service departments at dealerships, Volkswagen of Hilton Head truly values customer service. They do whatever they can to make the experience as easy as possible. Jay and Mike were great to work with and I know that any future issues I have I will be in good hands.

To start, I got absolutely railroaded by J.C. Lewis Ford. I was kind stressing the situation I was definitely frustrated and I called Volkswagen in Hilton Head, Greg gave me a call back and was extremely helpful and had great manners, I got confused and couldn't tell if I was talking to a salesman or if I was ordering a car through the Chik Fil La drive thru. I really wanted something bigger that could fit all the stuff my daughter has for her activities (single dad). Greg and his team tackled the problem J.C. Lewis Ford handed me like the Georgia 2021 defense tackled QB Young on the final play of the National Championship. Then like Indiana Jones and the search of the most fitting car, they found me an amazing Volkswagen Atlas Cross sport that is perfect. I have no complaints 10/10 service and those guys did a great job.

AutoNation VW provided a wonderful service experience. The team went above and beyond to address my issue and exceed my expectations. Truly a great job by all. This team's attention to detail and level of service are the reason I drive an additional 30 minutes when there is a VW dealership closer to my home.
