AutoNation Hyundai Hilton Head

Had a great experience at Hyundai AutoNation. The sales associate, Corey was very helpful and knowledgeable. He really took an interest in what I was looking for and showed me many car options. He took the time to explain all my buying options. The finance advisor was very helpful also. Explained all my options in detail and answered all my questions. Also very impressed with how clean and professional the dealership was. Very happy to be dealing with Hyundai AutoNation.

In December ‘23 I decided that I was finally ready to buy a new vehicle; my first new car in 12 years. After shopping several luxury SUV brands, I landed on the Genesis GV 80 and quickly became obsessed with the color Cardiff Green with the Smoke Green interior. After an extensive search in the metro Atlanta area, I came up empty-handed and realized I had to expand my search outside of Georgia to find that specific color combination. After calling what felt like 50 dealerships nationwide I finally found ‘MY’ GV 80 at Autonation Hyundai Genesis of Hilton Head. I was connected to the Sales Advisor Anthony Lucas. I instantly liked his warm tone and quick wit, but I was impressed by his level of engagement to help me find exactly what I wanted. At one point he had to do a bit of research and promised to get back to me soon. Well, at that point I had talked to umpteen Sales Advisors across the US who were all going to call me right back, and I’m still waiting on those callbacks today! Anthony did exactly as he said and promptly followed up, providing more info than what was initially asked of him. While I continued to explore other options he stayed in contact without being too overbearing. On Jan 2nd when I said, “Ok, I’m ready.” He said, “Bet! I got you.” Anthony put the wheels in motion to facilitate the sales transaction, coordinate with the finance department to expedite the paperwork to my lender and he did all of this on his day off! In addition, he was at the airport to pick me up when my flight to Hilton Head landed! Anthony was fully committed to helping me without ever having met me. With the exception of our initial conversation, the entirety of this sales process & transaction happened via text. When we met in person I asked him how did he know that I was even serious about buying a car? He said, “I just had a feeling…” Well, I had a feeling about him too! I could tell that he was a straight-shooter, plus he had proven that he was reliable and responsive. What more can you ask for from a salesperson?! In summary, my Sales Advisor was on point, my new car is 🔥 🔥, and I couldn’t be happier with this experience!

My experience at the Hyundai service area at the time of my appointment for service was excellent.
However the experience of trying to make an appointment for service was not. I called twice to make an appointment, but both times I was told that a Genesis team member would have to make the appointment for me, and they were not available. I was told someone from the team would call me
back before the end of the day. I waited two days after each call. No one ever called back. So I made an appointment online, but it was a month before any appointments were available. That seems excessive. Why isn't it possible to make an appointment by phone? We just moved to this area, and are surprised at the difference. Never had a problem like this at the Fort Mill location.

Hyundai of Hardeeville is a great dealership to work with! Angela in the service department was absolutely amazing to work with! I brought my vehicle in for a recall and a check engine light. Low and behold, my transmission needed to get replaced, warranty approved it and was put into a rental while the repairs were being done. I'm so grateful!!

My girlfriend and I were traveling to Florida. We had a rental electric vehicle and needed a place to get a charge. This dealership has a free charger point. Got us from 50 to 100% in about 45 mins. Staff are super friendly and chill. We did not buy a car, but this place did get some new fans from out of state.

Wow, this was a great service. I loved the texting with updates. The dealership was honest about the wait time, communicated perfectly, and gave me their findings once they determined the issue. Great job Auto Nation Hyundai! Angela, (my Service Advisor) you were phenomenal! THANK YOU!

My husband and I purchased a 2015 Honda Pilot the Friday between Christmas/New Years from Auto Nation Hyundai in Hardeeville. Our salesman, Adrian, was stellar. He was very no-pressure, made the process easy, and was great to talk to. It was the smoothest, least stressful car buying experience either of us have had and it was all thanks to Adrian! Josh in the financing department was also great to work with as well. We would absolutely buy another car from Adrian when the time comes! We are very pleased with our new vehicle.

Auto nation made purchasing my Kia soul so easy, pressure free, and smooth. With already low prices you know that you’re getting the best deal. The transparency at this dealership also made for a wonderful experience. Everyone is knowledgeable and happy to help without the pressure; 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Every staff member was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and pleasant to us. Timothy Balch, our salesperson, was absolutely wonderful to work with. Chris the sales manager and Josh the Finance Director was equally great. They all exhibited great patience in working the deal with me.

It’s wonderful to enter a facility and be greeted with a smile and a sense of urgency to assist. That was my experience when I arrived to AutoNation Hyundai. That was enough for me however it didn’t stop there the facility was clean, plenty places to sit as well as an area to set up your laptop to do work and the staff is always accommodating!! As a returning customer it is with every visit I’m delighted to receive this treatment!! I drive almost two hours for this exceptional service even though there’s a Hyundai dealership closer to my residence. Excellent service in all aspect of a business (rather it’s with the Technician performing the car maintenance, knowledge of product and auto needs, billing, customer service, cleanliness of facility and the location) this professionalism is worth the drive for me!!

I had the best experience with Anthony Lucas that I have ever had buying a car. I was impressed that I actually stepped foot in the dealership before being bombarded by a salesperson. Anthony listened to what my non-negotiables were and walked the lot with me to find a vehicle that met my needs. I didn't necessarily walk in expecting to leave in a new vehicle, but he found my unicorn. Anthony didn't make me feel pressured to make a decision, which is why I drove away the same day in my beautiful and functional new car that has everything I wanted and more. While I hope to have this car for a while, I would absolutely come back to Anthony for another vehicle.

The warm smile and hospitality of the manager, Corey Ellis, put me in a good mood right from the moment I entered, and I was able to hear a detailed explanation of the vehicle. The vehicles I wanted were Elantra, Sonata, and Tucson. I was able to receive quotes for each one, and in the end, I was able to purchase the Elantra. The Finance Manager also welcomed me kindly, and I was able to purchase the car with confidence. It was nice to have Autonation Hyundai Hilton Head, my first car in the US.

Me and my dad purchased a car here today. Anthony was awesome very knowledgeable and so helpful and kind. We definitely wouldn’t hesitate to purchase another car here.

Not usually a fan of dealership service departments, however, in this case Hilton Head Hyundai has won me over.
Had a major engine issue and Brent, my service advisor, was Excellent! He
kept me informed and was quick to answer any questions I had, and I had plenty!

Having my Hyundai Tucson repaired and/or maintained is never a problem for me anymore as AutoNation's Hyundai Service Team is top notch especially Brett Adelman. It's easy to get an appointment, my issues are handled promptly and Brett always takes the time to go over the repairs so that I never feel taken advantage of. His customer service is outstanding! I will continue to take my Tucson to AutoNation Hyundai and recommend them highly....ask for Brett and you'll be happy you did! He is the gold standard for servicing his customers!

We had a GREAT experience with Hyundai of Hilton Head. We told Chris Gallagher exactly what we were looking for, our price point we wanted and that we need a quick sale due to the timing of our day with meetings and events. We were able to get everything we wanted plus more. The warranties and value of the vehicles are worth it. We closed the deal and made it to our next meeting on time. Would definitely recommend Hyundai to anyone that asks. We will definitely be going back next year when my husband is due for a vehicle.

Good experience! We were greeted promptly, directed to the models we were interested in and given time to look them over without pressure. Our rep, CJ, was courteous, answered all our questions and made the buying process quick, handling all the paperwork.
The only complaint was that the car wasn’t detailed well.

Brett in the service department always takes really good care of my issues. The GM helped me too. The service manager not so much. I feel a bit more attention needs to be given to the mechanics since I've had to go back multiple times for simple issues after having them fixed! The inconvenience is unbelievable its been so much.
Otherwise, a great place.

Loved working with Anthony on the purchase of a “new” car for my daughter. He was super patient with us, offered great advice and went above and beyond to ensure my daughter had a great experience as a first time car buyer. Would recommend working with him in a heartbeat!
