Well Hung Vineyard - Restaurant

I have nothing but amazing things to say about this restaurant. As soon as I walked in the atmosphere was so inviting! The location was clean, I was greeted as soon as I walked in, and I was just absolutely amazed. The wine selection was plentiful, and it was even, cool to be able to experience wine through the slushy that they have. I must say that the food was absolutely amazing. I got the spinach and artichoke pizza with the gluten-free sweet potato crust. You could not even tell that it was gluten-free everything just went together so well! I ordered the salmon and with my first bite, it just melted in my mouth! It was some kind of honey, glazed salmon, with the rice and asparagus, and it was so good! In fact, I was in town visiting, and on my way out. I came back by that Tuesday during lunchtime not realizing the menus were different. Needless to say, I was unable to get the salmon again like I want, but I would absolutely recommend this location hands-down! Thank you for the amazing service.

I hosted a wedding brunch here last weekend on a Sunday. This was my first time eating at Well Hung Vineyard. The owner and general manager were both timely and professional with correspondence regarding my plans and vision. The chairs/tables were set up the way that we had previously discussed. They allowed me to bring in an outside vendor cake. Caitlin, our server, was prompt, cheerful, and attentive to our group of 20. The space is welcoming and cozy. We sat at the front of the restaurant with the natural light beaming through the windows. All of the guests commented on how delicious their brunch food was, in addition to the beverage selection. Well Hung Vineyard restaurant was very accommodating and I will certainly recommend for other events and visit again!

P.S. Special shout out to the musical entertainment that was there during brunch! She was delightful, friendly, and even took a few photos of the group for us!

The food was delicious. Great menu selection. The quality of food is superb. The wine slushy flight was perfect, we had an Halloween/Autumn theme. Molly, our server, took excellent care of us. We loved it so much that we went back for Brunch and purchased 3 bottles of wine the following day. Definitely treat yourself to some elephant ear fries.

Came here for brunch with a friend and was unprepared for the level of culinary magic. The crab cake was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. The cocktail was great, and our server, Chelsea(?), was so sweet and funny. She answered all our questions and just made our Sunday morning better. Will definitely be back!

Great find! We were visiting Roanoke and looking for wine and good food when we came across Well Hung Vineyard. We did make a reservation which was a good idea considering how busy they were. Nice open relaxing atmosphere. We bought a bottle of their cabernet sauvignon which had dark fruit flavors, black cherry notes. The service was top notch and very willing to explain any part of the menu. We ordered the portobello fries for appetizer. The balsamic roasted portobello mushroom was rolled in panko bread and fried then drizzled with garlic aioli. My wife had the fusilli caesar salad and I had the full monty flatbread pizza. Both dishes were well prepared and presented. For dessert we enjoyed the cheese cake. It was a great visit and we will be going back next time we are in Roanoke.

A wonderful, not-to-be-missed experience. A delight for both the plate and the taste buds. The vibe is so lively, the people-watching opportunities are endless, thanks to the bright, airy atmosphere, and the food and drink enhance the amazing city break aspect of Roanoke. Great merch, too!

Went for the first time we had a great meal not alot of bourbon to chose from but the selection they had was really good.had the brie snd andouille crostini, cajun chicken, and andouille pasta,and the full monty flat bread all was hot when it got to the table service was right on top of the whole table and everyone was pleased thank you will return very soon

A new favorite lunch spot!

After driving past this place many times, and even knowing some of the staff I finally stopped by and had lunch.

Oh yes, I will be back if for no other reason, than the beverages. 🍹🥃🍸

1. Seasonal menus they change with the seasons.
2. Super fresh ingredients and lots of flavor.
3. Great ambiance and wine list.
4. A variety of dishes on the menu.

Add to this, they help you celebrate birthdays with a free glass of wine and birthday cupcake !! 🍷🧁

We had a fantastic experience! Liza, our server, was so sweet and knowledgeable about the wines and food! She helped us with great recommendations! We will be back for another 5 star experience!!

The Hubster and I shared a gluten free BBQ chicken pizza. It was SO delicious. I had the sugar free pink lemonade mimosa, very good too. Friendly service & nice atmosphere. We will definitely be back to try other options.

My husband and I enjoyed dinner and drinks here for a date night. We started with mussels in white wine for an appetizer which was delicious. He got the shrimp and grits and really loved the sauce that was on the dish. I had the surf and turf and was extremely impressed with the flavor and the cook of my steaks! I ordered medium and actually received medium cooked steak! Our server was helpful throughout our dinner.
We ordered the afternoon flight of wines and I was really surprised I liked all the wines! I am not a huge red person and the red that was included was really smooth and delicious. I also don’t love anything peach and I was surprised when I tasted the peach wine that I enjoyed it! My husband ordered a new watermelon sour they had just got in. You can taste slightly taste the watermelon, nothing overpowering. It was tart and crisp.
I ordered a glass of rosé afterwards and that was amazing as well. We finished dinner with their funnel fries 😋so good! Everything was hot, fresh and delicious.
Overall we were extremely impressed with everything!

This was a gem in downtown Roanoake. They had slushies with their wine. LGBTQIA+ friendly with non gender bathrooms. The bathrooms were clean. Caitlin was our server and very nice. They embrace their name with boxers, t-shirts mugs, and spicy nuts. We had the salad and full Monty flatbread.

Had a great experience with some friends at Well Hung Vineyard this afternoon. The food and atmosphere were exceptional! Our server Chelsea was so kind and accommodating; a pleasure to have her as our server! :)

Chelsea g was amazing, her recommendations and personality was 5 stars. The food was delicious I had chicken and waffles and an espresso martini and shrimp and grits add the caj sauce and it was worth every second. We will be back

Greetings from Ohio…. Such a fun atmosphere. Wine and food were all amazing. Liza B was our server and she was amazing! Very knowledgeable of the menu, great personality and definitely talked us into trying a few new favorites. We will be back.

Super excited for this place to open in Downtown! The wines are delicious (I wish the flights were a little bigger, they're more like 2oz tasting pours) and everything we ate we loved!! Highly recommend the bruschetta! We went for brunch and they had a nice, large brunch selection. Can't wait to go back for dinner! We also tried a few samples of wine slushy options they have: pina colada, strawberry, and a red sangria type. The environment is very clean and chic. I tend to judge a restaurant based on how they keep their bathrooms - the bathrooms are adorable! The staff were definitely busy but we were always able to get what we needed when we needed it. Looking forward to becoming regulars here!

Liza was amazing. The service was great she was so attentive and the portobello fries. Omg it’s a must try and I don’t love mushrooms but they were sooo tasty. You must try this place. Wine Slushies too. Why not?

My friends and I came in for a much needed girls night, and our evening could not have been better! The food and drinks were amazing, especially the delicious Mill Mountain Charcuterie board! The six of us were so well taken care of! Liza was amazing! Offering wonderful recommendations! We will absolutely be back!

Chelsea was an amazing server and accommodated to all of our needs. The food was amazing and so were the mimosas flights. 10/10 recommend for a Sunday Brunch day!

We had such a great dinner and service was spot on. I got the slushy wine flight which was so refreshing on the hot day! The name still has me giggling...lol.
