All I can say is wow! Ralph did such an incredible job repairing my leather riding jacket. He was extremely thorough in his work and wonderful to work with.
He put in a lot of work sewing in a new liner, repairing seems, replacing the cuffs, sewing in fresh pockets and new heavy duty zippers, and even went above and beyond by providing me information on how to care for and extend the longevity of my jacket. My jacket was in pretty rough shape and it looks and feels like an new jacket. From start to finish, Ralph was wonderful to work with. I would highly recommend Ralph for all your leather repair needs.

Ralph did a great job on my 60 year old Buco motorcycle jacket - it was literally coming apart from age and looked like it. There were over 10 major repairs to be done. Not inexpensive, but fair & very well worth it. I would use him again.

A while back I came in with a leather jacket that had an exterior pocket that had gotten caught on something and torn away part of the leather side of the jacket. I wasn't sure whether it could be repaired, but Ralph assured me that he could do it, and then proceeded to fix it BY THE NEXT MORNING. The repair is basically invisible. I had a backpack with a broken buckle and thought it was destined for the trash or donation pile, but Ralph was able to unstitch the pleather, insert a new buckle, and restitch everything better than before. Ralph made two coats and a handbag for myself and my lady. He runs an old-school leather shop out of his apartment in Seattle with all the tools necessary to repair, adjust, or create new work. He did custom work for us, so we got to do everything from picking the leather to working on the design with him. He was professional, informative, and fun to interact with at every step. Ralph was extremely helpful and kind. I came to him because I purchased a pair of wedding shoes and the straps were too short to be used as a double strap but too long to be a single strap. I had brought them to a shoe repair shop prior and they cut it too short and the new holes they put in weren't done properly and uneven. Although Ralph told me he usually doesn't work on shoes, he was determined to do everything he could to reattach the straps with the remaining scraps and correct them to the right length. He is extremely knowledgeable about leather and takes pride in his craftsmanship! I highly recommend him for any leather needs.
