I liked this brewery. The interior design was kind of industrial noir but with a friendly feeling and the layout for seating was done well. Very excited I got a seat at the window bar top. Bar staff were friendly and knowledgeable. They had a unique selection of beer, a few good choices with high ABV, and some beer types I’ve never heard of. I didn’t get one but they do offer flights. They also had a selection of games you could play at your table. The street parking was tricky but that’s because of the Cambridge and not the brewery’s fault.

Great spot for the area! Trendy, bright, and eclectic. Doubles over as a coffee shop before 4 (at least on weekdays). Wide range of beer options, from New England IPAs to barrel-aged options (barleywine and a millet ale were on tap recently). Friendly, inclusive staff. Chill or meet up with friends.

Came here on a Friday night and it was absolutely stuffed to the gills, but that's not unexpected in a college town. I still had a great time. Service was quick and friendly despite the crowd and I enjoyed the overall vibe. The age demographic was all over the place, so I didn't feel awkwardly surrounded by college kids. Of course, the beers were excellent and they had some really unique offerings. I'd definitely return if I ever find myself in this area again.

One of my favourite microbreweries in Boston area! Great selection & styles of beer; should be enough to appease most groups.
Bar staff are friendly & attentive. The venue itself is very cozy, warm & welcoming.
A secondary beer area is out back, and for food they partner with local providers 👍🏻

Edit: Back again May 2023 and everything holds up as before! Their NE IPAs are on-point juicy (without being overly super sweet like many other microbreweries). Big thumbs up for Cloud City and Yaks on the Phone

Love this place! The beer is great and the ambience is, too. Lots of space to hangout. The flight glasses are probably some of my favorites I’ve ever seen. (And the fact that the place has preset flights is awesome.) definitely a local favorite and a must-go if you like beer/breweries and are in the area.

Let's put it this way: you've not been to Cambridge if you haven't been to the Lamplighter. This brewery is one of those places that define the character of a town and become a test of whether you've explored it properly or not yet. Excellent beers that rotate every now and then. A chill and welcoming atmosphere that only gets better once you discover the cool room in the back. The staff is always friendly. Prices are fair. Patrons are a nice bunch which may come to be friends with. What's not to like? One of my favourite spots around.

What a lovely space! It is quite a large space with a long bar serving drinks, several seating areas, and a smaller more cozier seating area that is a few steps up. This area had larger tables and also board games! My friends and I grabbed some drinks here after dinner and had a blast playing board games with some delicious beverages. I definitely want to return here!!

Absolutely loved this space and the beer we tried. This is the kind of brewery I wish I had nearby. Many different spaces and rooms to find a cozy place to meet with friends or have quiet work time with a beverage. Thanks so much

We had a phenomenal experience here. We loved our flights and the staff were all very friendly and helpful (massive shout-out to Gabby!) The employees dug in the back to find us the new designs of stickers we wanted to buy. The atmosphere is laid back and the artwork is trendy and fun. We wanted to come back for the new batch of cans but we ran out of time this visit so we will definitely have to come back!

Love this place, they have different food pop up every night and a lot of social activities (trivia nights, comedy shows, The Bachelor screening every Monday, art craft workshops, movie night once a month and a lot more). The Beer is great, a lot of different beers to choose from. This is a self-service bar, so sometimes the line can be a little long.
There are games you can play with friends, nice music and a great vibe. Note that the food pop-up is on limited hours, so check on their Instagram or website.

A great place to hang out and chill. We were in town and wanted a quality beer. These guys ticked all the boxes; convenient, friendly and a great menu of beers. I like lager so tried the Pavona, an Italian styled pilsner and not too strong at around 5% alcohol, it was dry and crisp just like I expected with a bitter after taste. Next up was the Mexican style lager again less than 5% it's clean and crisp with lemony tones, what a winner They have plenty of stronger IPA style beers if that's your thing. It's a great place to begin or end your evening in Cambridge. !Best of all the service was top notch. Go check It out!

Awesome variety of beer. I really enjoyed the New England IPA and the stout. The space is eclectic with a super cool vibe. Plenty of road side parking, at least on a Monday.

They have great beer and a nice range of styles - your typical NE IPAs, but also some darker, sweeter stuff like Belgian strongs and stouts. The ambiance and setup is like a coffeeshop, so there's plenty of space to relax and focus as needed.

Lovely atmosphere, bright and airy rooms. It has a hipster feel and the selection of beer is extensive. They also have pop-up rotating restaurants so you can have some food too. Best for: a relaxed drink with one or a few friends, perfect for catching up as it is not noisy!

It's literally a jungle (flight) out here... We got light, we got bitter, we got bittersweet, and we got something reminiscent of kombucha... All in all the brews are all very distinct, so there's something for everyone in the jungle flight... It's very crowded tonight and from what I hear it's not the norm. It's also the overall youngest crowd of all the places I've been in Cambridge, maybe has something to do with Lamplighter's investment in the community... 👍👍👍👍 They also serve coffee and have a back taproom for special events. Tuesday's trivia night... I highly recommend a visit.

Visiting Boston for the first time! Definitely a must visit - the beers are incredible, the staff was very knowledgeable, there was plenty of room even on a busy Friday, and they have Ramen available for food! Yum! The manager Kelsey was very helpful and friendly. Definitely a great brewery if you’re visiting Boston!

Awesome brewery which sets itself apart with also having coffee. Huge variety of beers for all tastes. Plenty of events throughout the week, mostly food pop ups of all types. Great place to hang out with friends and drink.

This is a spot I always want to visit when I’m visiting Boston. Even though I don’t drink many types of beer, they have a wide selection of beer they brew here. It’s a great place to get some work done with solid wifi, lots of seating types, coffee and beer, and plenty of food options from the coffee shop.

Fun neighborhood, great IPAs & enjoyed being the oldest client there... even though I'm only 51! Bartending staff knew how to keep things moving & good to know that canned beers were available for takeaway.

Well this is a delightful little gem in Cambridge. Probably the only brewery I will get to visit on this trip to Boston and absolutely not a disappointment! Friendly and knowledgeable staff, tasty beers, simple and cute atmosphere.
