Great little cafe. Our server was awesome. The place was nice and clean. Restrooms were very clean. I had the chili Mac and it was delicious. The lemon meringue and chocolate pie delicious. Glad we found this place on our way home.

Excellent chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, and cream gravy. Fork tender and Great tasting. The grilled chicken sandwich was also excellent. Crinkle cut fries were very good. Great service. Great local find right off of I-70.

We have been here 3 times and two of the three times we have ordered the Hay Stack breakfast! U get a little bit of everything on one plate smothered in gravy.

I can't recommend the Horseshoe enough, if you are hungry, it will fix that!

The atmosphere is welcoming and there are many options from the lunch menu. This is a seat yourself establishment and I highly recommend sitting where there is high waiteress traffic. Sitting to the back there is little love from the demanding folks intercepting the waiter. Overall, the food is great and I would recommend stopping here.

Very good family restaurant. Food was very good! Country fried steak and potatoes were cooked to perfection! Nice, cool,crisp fresh salad. Staff was very friendly and attentive! Never ran out of drinks and didn't wait long to be served. Overall great place to eat!

Dropped in for a quick lunch on a road trip through Illinois.  Wait staff was pleasant and the menu was uncomplicated.  I ordered the hamburger and my partner ordered half a patty melt and a slice of blueberry pie.  The pie was OK but the sandwiches were outstanding, certainly the best we’ve had in awhile.  If you’re travelling down I-70 be sure to give it a try.

Definitely a stop if we are in the area again.Open from 6 AM until 3PM. Clean, easy to get to, great service, quick, great food and lots of it. The price was very reasonable.

The food was good. Service was good. I like hash browns crispy. They were more like sliced potatoes. Everything else was great. The place was busy, we were waited on quickly. Enjoy.

They have great offer and breakfast. I had wagon wheel breakfast with biscuits and gravy. It was great. Hash browns were crispy the way I like them. The coffee tasted amazing! Service was great. The place is clean with farmhouse decor. It's updated and looks amazing in there. Still the best place for breakfast or lunch 😋

Exactly what you want from a country diner. I pulled off the exit expecting to just get some food from Subway, but saw this place and decided to try it out instead. Great amount of food for the price and loved the atmosphere. I would definitely go again if I'm out that way in the future.

It is a very nice place to get lunch. Stopped in on our way back to Georgia. The prices are very reasonable. The portions are big and very tasty. The service was also very good.
